Well Folks - this is my last post for the week. After church this morning we are heading to the beach for a week in the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina. I probably not check the internet at all this week but I hope everyone has a great week.

Lisa - try to have some nice weather waiting for us in your home state. :sunny: :)

Have a safe trip to the beach & home!!! Don't be scared off by the scattered Tstorms every day. They don't usually hit the same area every day. :)

Happy Birthday Stacie!

Well we had our first meal last night Baked Chicken with Cornbread Dressing and it was pretty good. The 1/2 meal was plenty for us. I just added some cranberry sauce and a salad and rolls and we had a really nice big meal. If the other meals are as good as this I could really get into it! They will be especially nice on Thursday nights because DS starts swim lesson this Thursday and his lesson is from 5:00 - 5:30 so DS and I will get home late but DH will have DD and he can just pop a meal in the oven and we can eat pretty much right when we get home. That will be nice.

I don't like that the PLA rotation has their character breakfast on Friday morning. I really don't want that rotation anyway because AP will be on Formal night and DH and I really wanted to go to Palo on formal night but if we get PLA we will not want the kids to miss the show.

Lisa - The website looks very nice. It looks like we have a pretty big group. I hope they can handle all of us! :yay:

OK guys I put this on the funniest things you have heard thread but wanted to share it here with you. :) You know how much of a history buff DS is since going to DC. Last night we watched the History channel's show on George Washington. After 30 minutes DS asked me if there was electricity yet and after we talked about it he realized that Ben Franklin was probably working on it around the same time. He then asked me if they had invented batteries yet. I told him no. After an hour watching this he turned to me and asked...ok they didn't have electricity and they didn't have batteries so how did someone video everything? :lmao: :lmao: He was totally serious! I had to try not to crack up while explaining to him that the footage was a reenactment & the people were actors. They knew what happened based on what had been written down by everyone back then. :)

Lisa, DS is doing a great job making connections. Too many children never learn to ask questions and they lose out on a lot of interesting stuff.

No...I meant from the Tag Fairy. :)

I never tire of the elevator one

Sorry .... I've had that one for about a year or more. It is still my favorite. :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

I think we should have a mini meet at the Baltimore Aquarium when brack gets to town. :thumbsup2 It seems kinda central for a few of us. :teeth:

I'm game! It looks like July is going to be a fairly slow month for us at work. We'll still be unpacking for awhile (I'm slow) but a day at the aquarium and a DISBoard meet would be great. :thumbsup2

Lisa that is a great story about your DS. Don't forget to scrapbook that because it will be a precious memory when he is grown up. He must be very bright. I agree with Penny that many kids would never even question that. :thumbsup2

This is my last post for today because I am packing this computer next. That will leave me with just our laptops until we get to Baltimore.

Hope everyone has a great day and we'll post later this week.

Lisa, that is such a good honest question!! :thumbsup2 Hilarious! :rotfl2: but a great question!! :teeth:

Ok, ok more like 6! :lmao: :lmao:

I'm game for the aquarium.....

I hear the dolphin show is pretty neat...

Baltimore is like 45 - 1 hr from me....

Buzzboysmom..... It's about same distance for you..... Are you game?

BTW they opened a Brewsters Ic in Frederick..... but I like the one in Dillsburg better. The one here has no doggie sundaes or second scoops on rainy days...

We should put an hourglass like this on the Magic!! :hourglass

It never runs out of time!! :rotfl:

Sorry!! :guilty: I forgot to put the 8 in there!! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I thought that you were telling me how far from DC. Hmmm...8 hours? I think that I am going to get out of the 6 1/2 hour drive up to MD next week because DH told me that he thought he would come home next weekend!!! That would be 2 weekends in a row with only 2 more weeks after that. If we do go up it would be for that week inbetween...where I wouldn't be on my own with the kids!
