that sounds awesome for meals....never gonna happen here.

We are home watching Parent Trap...the new version (personally I love the Hayley Mills version), waiting for Dh to get home to go out to eat with the Outlawz at the Columbia.

Tomorrow - we - are - going - to - the - WORLD~~~@@@~~@@~~!!!

My compromise for going out to eat with the Outlawz! Don't ask - they live 20 min away and NEVER bother to come see the girls. They have never changed a diaper, never baby sat, etc. Which is no BIG DEAL, but then they act like we are the horrid ones who never visit. UMMMM last time I checked it is WAY easier to load up two people in the car than....well, whatever. Not gonna go there...but we have to spend the evening with them. I tried to get DH to go alone and NO GO.

So here we sit, eating popcorn, watching the Parent Trap, DIS'ing and making lunch plans for tomorrow! DH just called...I better get moving!

and sorry - I don't mean to sound hateful, but obviously there is a story here, so please, understand!!

How appropriate is the movie title! :happytv:

Well, I told DD of the dilema between cruise and band. She actually said missing the concert isn't that big of a deal. :rotfl: Now this is from a girl who doesn't like to miss part of a day at school to go to the doctor!! I suggested maybe we look into taking a 9-day cruise in October that leaves from Nj since they would still only miss 5 days of school (sails Fri-Sun). She said "Cool!" until I told her it wasn't on Disney! :lmao: :lmao:

It isn't really about 'us' missing the concert. Band in JH is graded now and concerts and parades are a big part. It wasn't like this at all when I was there. Of course the teacher really discourages vacations. I don't know how it would affect her grade. I am afraid to ask. School will just be starting when I would make full payment (to get onboard ressies), but I just thought of something. I would still have time to cancel if need be and I wouldn't have to let the teacher know that. ;) I guess we'll have to wait until September to see! :thumbsup2

LOL! I feel an illness coming on...just a feeling. ;)

You know...I guess that I can just get lean cuisine & weightwatchers dinners. They are just as easy & some of them are quite yummy. No dishes either! :)

I wanted to answer about the Character Breakfast for our rotation ...We had PLA early seating. Our CB was Friday morning (CC day) at 8am. At first I was disappointed but it really worked out fine. We saw everyone and were done and on the beach by 9:30. According to our servers, the late seating for that rotation was at 9:45 (I think? maybe it was 9:30?) so I don't know how that worked out...

That means

LAP Monday
APL Thursday
PLA Friday

My niece and her son are staying with my parents this summer while her husband is in Iraq. :sad1: He will be gone for about 9 months total. Right now he has been in WI for training and is due to depart Sat or Sun. Well, Wednesday my niece found out she could visit him before he leaves so she headed out there first thing yesterday morning. I have her 9 mo old son for these two days while her MIL takes him at night. He is a very easy baby, but I don't miss following a little one around all day! I had to take him with me yesterday to DD's Field Day at school and left the stroller next to the car when I left home! :lmao:

Please send pixiedust: pixiedust: his way (his name is Rick) that he comes home safe and sound for his family!! :grouphug:

Prayers and pixie dust being sent to the family. God Bless our Men and Women serving this Great Country!

::yes::

I can get 6 meals for 120 and be done in 2 hours or less. There meals are for 6 so we can split them and/or have leftovers for lunch so I don't think it will too bad. I hate to cook so I figure it is worth a shot.

Here are the dishes I am thinking about doing:

Lemon Tarragon White Fish Fillets with Herbed Vegetable Rice Pilaf
Crunchy white fish fillets flavored with fresh lemon, tarragon, and crispy panko crumbs. Paired with our veggie-loaded rice pilaf. Eat this juicy, crunchy fish as is, or make fish tacos by filling soft tortillas with fish and adding lettuce, cheese, and salsa.

Chicken-Cheddar Stuffed Braided Bread
Chicken, cheddar cheese, olives, onions, bell peppers, and more are stuffed inside our soft bread and baked to perfection. Includes two braided breads – make one for the kids and load up the other for yourself!

Baby Back Ribs
A favorite is back! Baby back ribs marinated in our special recipe for barbeque dry rub. Ready for a quick grilling.

Maple Mustard Pork Chops with Cinnamon Apples
Boneless pork chops glazed with Dijon mustard, maple syrup, and fresh lemon juice. Serve with our Cinnamon Apples for a perfect taste combination.

Swedish Meatballs
Plump, juicy meatballs swim in our delicious sour cream mushroom sauce. Includes herbed egg noodles. Place the noodles on a large platter, top with meatballs, and it’s almost too pretty to eat!

Beef and Mushroom Burgers with Baked Beans
Make these burgers just the way you like them. Choose from our selection of ingredients, including onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and more. Fabulous with our incredible Baked Beans.

If they are half as good as they sound I think it would be worth it! :)

My friends us them all the time and swear by them....great meals...tasty and LOTS of food!!!! You can actually separate the packaging so that the meals are actually double when you walk out.

Did they have the chicken all cleaned & cut up so you can just stick the zip lock bag in the freezer labled?

Hey Lisa - Road trip up here to PA - visit Hershey - swim in our new pool and make your meals....especially if you DH has to be up in DC anytime soon. .... do I sound like I need some company???

Let's just say - ditto - I can relate....and we will leave it at that.

DH is in MD right now but will be in Chicago the week after 7/4. How long of a drive do you think that would be for me & the kids? ;)

I just updated the website with all of the info I have received this week. :) Please let me know if you don't get an email from the group list tonight. I will make sure that I add you to the list. :)

Spotncleo I got an error message from your email. :) SORRY Jordan & Wendy! Just thought to check on the names on the list. We are still thinking about you guys. :)

Wish you were still coming with us!! :grouphug: How is the pregnancy going??

I would guess it would be about an hour hour drive for you Lisa. :thumbsup2

I think we should have a mini meet at the Baltimore Aquarium when brack gets to town. :thumbsup2 It seems kinda central for a few of us. :teeth:

I never heard of super supper but that sounds so awesome! It even sounds like fun shopping.

lillygator - have a blast at the world. Sorry to hear about the outlawz but you are NOT alone!!!! Mine are pretty bad as well (at least my FIL)!

My family could probably do a mini meet at the Aquarium. We could also do one in Hershey. That would be fun.
