Good morning!!! I fell back asleep this morning & woke up to the radio alarm going. It didn't do much good though since I slept thru it for 30 minutes! ARG!!!! The kids made it to school with a couple minutes to spare...no thanks to a road crew down the street. STRESSFUL!!! I just need to run to the grocery store then I might be babysitting for a friend while she runs a few errands. She has 7 week old twins!!!! AM I NUTS?!?!?

Not moving the rocks; my Disney stuff is heavy enough. We are just fixing up the place for the next Officers to come in. We have a section on the side of the house that won't grow grass so I'm covering it with rock to help it drain better.

My niece and her son are staying with my parents this summer while her husband is in Iraq. He will be gone for about 9 months total. Right now he has been in WI for training and is due to depart Sat or Sun. Well, Wednesday my niece found out she could visit him before he leaves so she headed out there first thing yesterday morning. I have her 9 mo old son for these two days while her MIL takes him at night. He is a very easy baby, but I don't miss following a little one around all day! I had to take him with me yesterday to DD's Field Day at school and left the stroller next to the car when I left home!

Please send his way (his name is Rick) that he comes home safe and sound for his family!!

Well, I'm officially booked on the RCCL Explorer!! It's the same one I should be on right NOW with DH before he decided against going!! It's a 5 day from NJ to Bermuda. It will be me, my Dsister, Dmom and her dear friend who has never cruised before. We'll be on it July 9th!

My DDs keep begging to go with me. Who are they kidding?!?!?!

Well, I'm officially booked on the RCCL Explorer!! It's the same one I should be on right NOW with DH before he decided against going!! It's a 5 day from NJ to Bermuda. It will be me, my Dsister, Dmom and her dear friend who has never cruised before. We'll be on it July 9th!

Ok, must worst fear has come true. There was a parents' orientation last night for DDs JHS for next year and we were given lots of little tidbits and handouts. Well, I just looked at one of the handouts and it has the school calendar for the year. The band Christmas concert is 12/14!!!! I had already figured she would be missing one of the Christmas parades, but I was so hoping she wouldn't have to miss the concert. I don't know how this will go over with DD or her teacher! DD already doesn't like to miss school. If we can't go this week we won't be going at all since prices are so much higher than what we have now. Do I tell DD now?? Do I wait until it's too late? I really wish I hadn't seen this. I was going to have a talk with the band teacher anyway, so I would have found then anyway. Guess we'll be having a serious discussion soon.

Now, Karen! Those babies were so sweet. They took turns sleeping & eating. I had a nice chat with the little boy. He was so animated. They are teeny tiny compared to my kids when they were born too.

Caronline!!!!!!!! NO!!!!! Your DD can't put more weight on a JH band concert than a Disney cruise...can she???? Didn't you raise that girl right?

I know what you mean. I got to hold a little 3 month old yesterday at our class picnic (Did I mention that was the last official event I had to do as HR Mom!! ....okay, sorry for the little OT).

But everytime my son came by, he would try to get me to help him with something else. I wondered if DH put him up to it - a little "birth control" of his own.... Not that we haven't considered having another one, but with the boys being so grown up, starting over just makes me cringe....and then there is the baby weight that I still have't gotten off....7 years later!!!

Yes, Lisa - we all need that baby fix now and then. Sounds like it was more peaceful than exhausting.
