Yes, it did, but I really think she is on to us and KNOWS we cannot be good for any extended period of time...like a day or so. :lmao:
WE?Can't be related to little ol' moi?! I'm on my best behavior always. :rolleyes1 ok, well even I know that is pushing it

Carla-

Here are the things that I know for Isabella that you did not mention that you have done.

There is a Sassagoula river trip from POR that is similar to the GF pirate adventure but as a boat captain rather than pirate. Caribbean beach also has a river trip but it only runs once a week I believe - but they are always juggling this.

There are several new walking tours - one at MK and one at AK that are short and meant for families. I think the one at AK involves a safari tour too.

The AKL has a 4 hour camp that runs on saturdays - the kids might really like this. You can also spend most of the day over there doing some of the bead activities - they run at various times during the day - almost all of them are really fun and interesting. There is also a fun scavenger hunt through the african art works.

If you have never been to Disneyquest - it is worth going to for a few hours and the Cheesecake factory food is great.

If you are looking to go off property you can eat at the Gaylord Palms on their boat that is anchored in the lobby - they used to have entertainment on sunday nights - balloons, face painting etc. Not sure if they still do this.

My kids had fun at the Dolly Parton horse show. Sea World has some backstage tours of the manatees, penguins etc.

have a wonderful birthday trip there.
Thank you! I'd recalled the POR but not the CB cruises. I wonder what the weather will be like in March. Nothing is as it should be in the universe so who knows. It's been a while since March trip. I am afraid to go to DisneyQuest. We have a difficult time leaving the games that are at the local bowling alley. :rotfl: Is the Cheesecake Factory as difficult to get in as the ones up here. They are like Rainforest Cafe here (that's why I joined the Safari club). Hmmm on AK. That is her most fav place to stay if not BCV. We've done the morning safari when we stayed concierge there. Can you do the safari if you aren't concierge or is that different. I will definitely look closer at activities there.

She has also never been to Sea World yet - I don't think she has at least.

Thank you! Great ideas from you and Kristina - I actually don't feel like I need to use my inhaler when I think about it now!

Heat stays at 60 during the day.....DD does turn it up to 68 when she gets home (3:45 ish) but then we turn it down again around 10 pm.
I hate being cold. I do have it on an auto timer now so at 10P its 62 but that kills me. My home office is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I tried to keep it at 64 until DD came home from school and I couldn't take it. Also even DH who is always warm said getting dressed at 6A at 62 - 64 bites and would I make it 68 at least then. I currently have on heavy sweats and I am still cold in this bleepin' office. At least I don't see my breath.

She then asked me if Daddy's GM is now in Heaven. When I told her that I thought she is, she smiled & said COOL! She can meet Abraham Lincoln then! Thank goodness for the little ones being able to make us smile at the hardest times.
Kids are SO cool!

Kim, I finished "Cross" and picked up "Step on a Crack" and JD Robb'snewest "In Death" book. Those are rewards for the plane ride Sunday. yeah, like I'll wait to start reading

How do you arrange it since they don't take PS there. I have to start calling them ADR's but that's like calling the Wedway People Mover whatever its called now --see I can't even recall the name ;) Hey what would that be considered on the dining plan? :lmao:

B&C is considered a table service venue on the meal plan. You might want to use your points elsewhere that day for meals and just pay for the kitchen sink OOP. It's like $21.95 and can serve a lot of people.... We had four people the time we went and didn't finish it all... If you use your meal plan here it does not cover the kitchen sink. (but it would get you huge sundaes though.) MMMMM No way Jose....(that's our favorite)

B&C doesn't take ressie but takes walk-ups. If they do not have space they give out those light up buzzer things (like most restaurants have)

I would try not to go during park dismissal times or prime dinner hour and you should be fine.

Wow Brack! Do you get extra points for the full sandwich?

P.S.- We need your land address, somehow, to send a couple of (less than good) pictures discs. I still owe you.

Thanks, D

Just back from a 10 day trip to "NoInternet Land". I'll PM it now. Thanks.

the Cheesecake factory is within DQ so it can be crowded but you can get in. DQ is not that popular anymore hence the rumors about closing it.
THere is a similar venue called Wonderwerks - that's the upside down building on I-4 - there is also an evening magic show there.

We love Sea World - some of the shows are great and you can pet the stingrays there all day long as well as the dolphins. No need for an excursion.
Actually, a day at Discovery Cove might be just the thing if you are trying to do something special - includes a dolphin swim.

I am pretty sure that you cannot get the Kitchen Sink on the dining plan at B&C.

Is she too old for the pirate and princess party? - I think there are the last few in early March. It sounded like Vanessa had fun when she went. I hope they do this again in the fall.

The CA cruises make them so much $$$ I really think they will put the 2011 ship out there. They can start with 3/4 day Land/Sea packages just like they did when they started with the Magic in Florida. I think the second new ship in 2012 will replace either the Magic or Wonder and whichever one it replaces will end up in CA doing the 3/4 day cruises while the new ship in CA transitions to 7 day cruises. Mexico in the spring/fall/winter and Alaska in the summers. Just my opinion of course....

that makes a lot of sense - the land packages will increase the attendance at the Anaheim parks which they probably need.

Why do the Mexican cruises turn out to be so popular and expensive?

You want to know how this happened?

I was out on the cruise meets summary page, just kind of looking around to see what different cruise meets threads there were, and I saw YOU made the last post on the EB thread. I came over to say Hi, and see if you were feeling better, and once I saw the number of posts I figured you were OK - BUT I just happened to see "cohearse" and could not help myself.

I only lurk over there if you guys are close to a major pirate: :)

:goodvibes Aren't you sweet?!:goodvibes

Did I mention our gas bill came today?

$475.00!:scared1:

That's more than our old house payment used to be!

Ya think it's been cold?? I still have my gas bill to pay... Since the addition isn't heated yet, but it is open to the rest of the house, my gas bill was over $500 this month. I think we should buy some stock in this John. :sad2:
