Kim :grouphug: . There are going to be ignorant people no matter where you go or what happens to you. :sad2: I haven't heard too many comments about it since becoming a SAHM but every single year on Ash Wednesday I would get stupid comments from people.

It makes me feel badly for those who's will not go away in a few weeks.

I got it in the mail. Not sure how I got on their mailing list- possibly from ordering at Target.com :confused3

One redhead friend of mine figured that her freckles would increase and finally meet so that it would look like a tan!

I know. A boy in DS's preschool 3 year preschool class had a problem where he could't blink. His eye lids were drooping too so he had to hold his head back to see. In the 4 year class he had surgery. His mom & I sat down with DS to explain it because he couldn't wear bandages and we didn't want DS to get up set when he saw his friend's face. DS's first question was what was wrong with the boy's face. He had NEVER noticed it...or any stranger's questions when out. He hardly noticed the scars either. People say that kids have a lot to learn. I think that adults can learn a lot from kids.

I am not sure I am going to make it to 62K. I am going to have to leave that task in your capable hands! :)

Kids really do have a better view of things. When DD13 was an infant/toddler/preschooler she was in fulltime daycare. One of the babies that started with her was deaf (not diagnosed for quite awhile; I swear she adapted so well that she fooled people). Anyway, she had the cochlear implant surgery when she was about 2 or 3. I tried to explain to DD about the device her friend would be wearing and why, etc. DD really was oblivious to it all; Julianna was one of the girls who liked to play with her; nothing more to it!
