Congrats on the pirate Elaine! Argh. Now why do I hear the Pirate song from LazyTown when I see pirates now. Sad... I know all of the words to the kids songs and nothing contemporary.

Did anyone see the Tony Bennett special this month. They were discussing it at the Hallmark store this afternoon (which by the way is where I have gotten all of our crocs).

Has anyone seen Deja Vue? I would like to see it. Are the movies on the Magic the same that were posted a while back? Happy Feet is #1. I guess I'll write this in little letters I thought it was just..ok. So did the kidsI really think the marketing in my neck of the woods led to big hype.

Did we ever hear the answer to V's tipping question as far as excursions. To tip or not. Do we tip for the Mayan tour? Also has anyone paid in advance yet?

There are sand toys for sale on CC, but I don't think you are going to find any pretty good deals there.

You can use your own snorkle equipment, but you have to use the Disney vest, which they let you use with no charge.

so we don't really need to bring our life vests then? that would save a lot of space. we already have snorkel gear.

does anyone know if the catamaran sail would also provide vests? I assume they would - last time I think we just used our own snorkel and fins.

Hallmark is selling crocs? wow. LOL.

I asked Giona if he would wear them because they would be so light to pack. He said yes- he wants purple ones.

I am getting a bad feeling about the pirate skirt I bought - I haven't heard from the seller about whether I will get it in time for next week.

I hope that doesn't mean I won't get it.

I waited too long to decide what to order. I was thinking about being brave and ordering something I wasn't too sure about - but I couldn't justify the money if I wasn't sure I would like it.

so now I ordered very late and am trying to get everyone to rush the order through. DUMB.

Like royalty! I liked the purple ones also but succumbed to peer pressure (or child pressure) and got the hot pink ones. I am so not a hot pink shoe person. I wanted purple but that is what DD got hence the rejection of that color for me. She says I am always copying her shoes - merrill, keene, now crocs. She is correct of course. I haven't found a way to let her know that I want the chocolate brown merrills that came out for adults (just like she has).

Good luck!! No pirate outfit here. I ordered tshirts but the seller is notorious late in shipping - hopefully he will get his act together. I've ordered other pirate stuff in the past from him - we shall see.

But I hope you hear back soon. Have you tried contacting the seller recently?

I just bought new mask and fins for DD. I went with the LLBean kid version - early Christmas present.

We go through goggles here like nobody's business. DD isn't even swimming this fall/winter so you would think we would have some. They are all broken/worn etc.

DD told me that she has forgotten how to tie her shoes. Her newest shoes were slip ons and clogs and velcro so perhaps she is correct. I never figured she would forget however I suppose if you don't use a new skill you become more rusty. So, I have been making her wear tied shows. OY
