I was worried about naps to but then I started thinking that while I loved the light coming in it might be easier to get the kids down for a nap with it darker and it was not like I was looking out the window when they were napping either. I was resting on the bed or watching TV.

With all that said I feel sick to my stomach but what is done is done. We will see how it goes and hopefully it will be a good experience. Maybe it will save us money in the future if we decide the inside rooms are good enough.

I gave up the Verandah several cruises ago, and felt just like this . . . we have been fine with the window since then, and being upgraded was a treat last time.

I'm sure it will work out fine Becka!

Of course now I read that there are not steamer trunks in the Cat 11s! ACK! I really loved that trunk and we are going to miss that! I don't know how we will store our clothes now!

ok story about my Dsis ....

She e-mailed me today to tell me she's going to PARIS....

Lucky......(insert Napoleon Dynamite picture)

Work is paying for her to go for the first week in December...

Again Lucky...... Wonder who she's getting to watch the little squirt....

Goodness! They make it sound so much bigger than that. :(
It is a fairly big room. Just 4 tile loungers though. However, we went every day on the 10 day and on our 7 day last Dec and only one or two times did we have to wait for a lounger. If they were being used we would go into the heated room and sit in there first and then move to the loungers. Except for when Brack, Annette, Dennis and I are there you should be fine. And of course, since we are DISers we MIGHT be willing to give up a lounger for ya. ;)

Am I am bad Mom? DH has off this afternoon so I am having him take DD for her chicken pox shot, flu shot and her lead test! I am such a wimp!

I have an idea to get us to 60,000 -

1. Lisa gives us all mod powers - erasing the 40 second rule
2. We chat right here on the board tonight and every Friday until the cruise.

Woudn't that be nice!!!

OK folks! Here is the deal from DCL!!!

The DCL dining coordinator has to have our cruise seated by 11/15 because she will be on vacation after that thru Thanksgiving. I have to send her a new seating chart with ANY changes in room numbers highlighted so that everyone will be l linked. Anyone changing after that date will not be guaranteed to be with the group.

Thank you! :goodvibes

Here's a suggestion......

You have 4 people so you'll be in a room that has a pull down bunk...

Have your son sleep in the bunk at night.... Use your couch as an extra place to pile clothes and diapers and such...

(if you get assigned a cat 11)
Room steward can bring a pack n play in for the baby... We found the best configuration was for then to move the whole big bed to one side.....nightstands will both be on the left or the right. The pack n play WILL FIT to the side of your bed (the one with the two nightstands)

We did this when we took our nephew with us...Worked pretty good.

You may still get assigned a 9 or 10 though in which case you would have the trunk and extra drawer/bar space....

OH!!!! Now I am going to have DD bring one of her Princess storybook compilations!!! She is going to LOVE that!!! princess:
The storybook I got had a title page for each story and that was the page that the characters signed on. It is WAY cool!! :cool1:

Kristina - That might work except DD will be on the couch with DS on the bunk. With a bedrail she will be more comfortable there than in one of the pack n' plays. No big deal - we will figure it out and maybe it will help me to not overpack!

So you do need stateroom #'s and not just reservation #'s? Well I told you they have assigned us but what happens if DCL switches the room assignement? Will we lose our dining? :confused3

I checked and we are still main dining and we have the same reservation number.

Actually I was suprised that they already assigned us a room number - #6539. It looks like it is 2 doors toward midship away right by the front elevators. I wonder how much motion you would feel if you are behind the front elevators? I loved using the aft elevators with it being so close to the Mickey pool and drink station but hopefully we will like this as well.

I am still nervous but excited. :) Things really are getting so much closer!!! :yay:
Less movement midship...figure it out mathmatically. :lmao:

We love staying forward on the ship! No problem with motion. :goodvibes

:woohoo:

We are all saving so much money!!! My room was already assigned...maybe we will be close by. I will have to find new DIS "neighbors". :)
We are in 65something, maybe nearby

Does anyone have any Valium? I should know better than to do things like this....they make me panic. My control freak self has lots of issues when things feel uncertain. I had everything figured out until yesterday. Now I feel like I am back at square one and I don't know what to expect!

Am I the only one that does this?
