It's election day, and I had to turn around at the poll to go to work - the line was too long!

Need all the PD you guys can spare so we can pass our school levy!

I survived the department goodie day. I tried to take small portion and just pick out a few things. I ended up counting only 16.5 points for my plate and that included one of the cookies I baked which was 4 points. I have been on WW before but I have to say I have never had this kind of success with these kinds of social events before...maybe this means I have finally figured out how to have a little will power. One can hope right....

On that letter, It depends on the writer. We don't send one because we live close to everyone we know. So they know our business anyway. We enjoy getting letters from people that are amusing and newsy and contain the good and the bad. I don't like letters that are all good (bragging), those are just boring.

I'll bet V is a great letter writer!

yup we bought out all the disneyshopping shirts.... They don't have them anymore.... BUt i imagine any lime will do for now.... Some are ironing on the image from our website to the back of them....I'm not but others are....

We are not doing the iron on thing. We all have the lime green shirts. I had our names embroidered on the sleeve of them. They turned out rather well!

Ok - anyone ever want to be done with their family? I feel guilty even thinking this way but good gosh...my mom, sister and gma are horrible. If you say one thing to one, they all have to get on the phone and dish about it. Everything is such a HUGE secret. I am just sick of it. They really don't add anything to my life but stress.

Yes, some of us do! I tell Dennis fairly often that I know I was switched at birth because there is NO WAY I can be genetically related to "those people." I know that I really should have gone home with a very wealthy Texas rancher/oil family. But nope, the switch was made and some other little girl got my life and I got to go home with the crazies! My family does tend to make a big to do about nothing and I am very laid back.

Thanks but my day is not starting off so great. I left my WW book at home so it will be hard to count points at the goodie day and then after I got to work a nice lady pointed out that I had my shirt on inside out. I threw it in the dryer while getting ready to de-wrinkle a little and just threw it on as I was ready to walk out the door. Of course the kids didn't notice so I walked around like that for almost an hour!

MMMMM don't even ask about my family other than over the years i have come to the conclusion that i'm better off living over three hours from them....

I have two families thanks to DM and DD divorcing at an early age...Don't know which one causes me more pain though.....

They say that going to therapy would help me but i don't see what good it would do considering the family...well they never change.... Maybe if they have hypnosis or something to erase all the awful memories...That would help.

i could fill pages and pages here on the thread with family stories....

We haven't gotten that desperate yet for 60K have we?

Ya know I re-read this and it's another classic example of Patsy's foot in mouth disease. I didn't mean that V has lot's of bad news to tell. I meant that V is an amusing writer.

I just realized I only have to work NINE MORE DAYS after today before we leave for WDW. I am off Thurs and Fri of this week for Veterans Day (Friday is the official holiday, but that is my regular day off so I get Thurs "in leiu" of) so one more day this week. Then I work my regular 4 days next week, then am on vacation the whole week of Thanksgiving as the hordes are visiting as usual, then back to work for another 4 days the week after TG. Nine work days!!!

I keep thinking about how many more days in different ways too. How many more dance classes, GS meetings, piano classes, etc. It is getting so close!!
