Ok - anyone ever want to be done with their family? I feel guilty even thinking this way but good gosh...my mom, sister and gma are horrible. If you say one thing to one, they all have to get on the phone and dish about it. Everything is such a HUGE secret. I am just sick of it. They really don't add anything to my life but stress.

I am just over it. Very over it. They all need to grow up.

I know the feeling all too well. Don't even get me started.

Thanks for the link to the review. I would love to see pictures. I hope it is not too much just sitting around because the kids might get restless. Although she mentioned a more festive group might have a better time and I can imagine if the excursion does not turn out too interesting this group will make it more "festive".

It would be very cool to see dolphins though. We saw two in port last time and DS is determined that we will see more. I hope we get the chance.

I survived the department goodie day. I tried to take small portion and just pick out a few things. I ended up counting only 16.5 points for my plate and that included one of the cookies I baked which was 4 points. I have been on WW before but I have to say I have never had this kind of success with these kinds of social events before...maybe this means I have finally figured out how to have a little will power. One can hope right....

Ok so back to cruise planning - now that I've eaten that ice cream:

I made the car service reservation
I've made the Cat Inn reservation

Now what do I do? I can't pack - that would just depress me. I bought some highlighters (DD took mine) to go through the navigators from that Oct DD.
Should I be reading up on anything. I would like someone to please take my hand and just lead me through the process.

I told DH this weekend I am so tired of helping and giving that I just need to refuel and if he could just make the decisions without asking me I would greatly appreciate it. That's about where I am now. I think he would have laughed if I wasn't so depressed sounding.

..ummm....are you for hire? Can you come to my house and get me organized?

DHW ALERT!!!! I sure hope that everyone has watched last night's show by now!!!

Can you believe how that ended? I was so relieved that Lynette wasn't killed. I guess that she was shot in the arm? Do you think that Carlos and his wife will work things out. Did you just want to reach out & hug Tom when he showed up at Bree's with the kids upset that Lynette was running late. I was really getting tired of the character that they did kill off so that upset me. Now they can move on.

I agree Lisa. But knowing how pesty that character was...she probably has a twin sister that's gonna come back for the little girl. Ugh!

I'm surprised that Caroline has jimmies.

That's what we always called them. When you get soft ice cream, you get Jimmies on it. We use sprinkles to decorate Christams cookies.

Thanks but my day is not starting off so great. I left my WW book at home so it will be hard to count points at the goodie day and then after I got to work a nice lady pointed out that I had my shirt on inside out. I threw it in the dryer while getting ready to de-wrinkle a little and just threw it on as I was ready to walk out the door. Of course the kids didn't notice so I walked around like that for almost an hour!

A new character who is moving into Mary Alice's house was introduced too. He was instumental to saving everyone from Caroline at the end.

I wonder if the lady who shot Caroline will be a new character too?

I'm glad it was Nora. I did not like her!!!!

then the LETTER - does anyone else send the letter? I sort of hate the concept but that is the reality of what time is available. I try to call people and also send the card with letter.

One of my cousins sends a Christmas poem every year since they don't live in the area and we don't see them very often. It is very cute!

I just realized I only have to work NINE MORE DAYS after today before we leave for WDW. I am off Thurs and Fri of this week for Veterans Day (Friday is the official holiday, but that is my regular day off so I get Thurs "in leiu" of) so one more day this week. Then I work my regular 4 days next week, then am on vacation the whole week of Thanksgiving as the hordes are visiting as usual, then back to work for another 4 days the week after TG. Nine work days!!!

I actually got that excited tingly feeling in my belly when reading your post.

Yes, that's it! There have been several reported sightings of Elvis there! I read that, so it must be true!

Actually Elvis was on our last DCL cruise in Dec 2004.. With his two ummmm daughters. I have a picture of him on CC getting fruit at cookies. (kinda a drive by photo shoot)

My mom works at the Election Polls. It is her "big job" she works 2 days each year! When I am working my dad takes those 2 days off (my mom is my baby sitter) to stay with the kids. He loves it! He gets loads of vacation days so it isn't a big deal for him. He said that he was sad that this year I am home and he wasn't needed. I told him that anytime he wants to take a day off of work to be with my kids is fine with me!

I am also very glad that the commercials and calls will be ending. It is so annoying and nasty!

Speaking of calls, I kust got yet ANOTHER call from Joe Piscopo and I have already voted today.
