Having lunch with DD reminded us of a game we used to play when she was little.

It was with Teddy Grahams

All the little bears had something to say before they got eaten.

They were all happy to go so they said things like....

"Pick me! Pick me!"

"I wanna go next"

Or she would bite the head of of one and then it would say,

"Hey I need that, I'm goin' in after it!"

"Watch out tummy here I come!"

We could go on all day like that, it was so much fun.

It is raining way too much here! They are talking flooding everywhere! Some of our bridges have closed. The Pineapple Express arrived from Hawaii over the last 3-4 days. :sad2: More rain on the way, but the next front is coming at us from the north, is colder and that is good news. It will move over us faster, not just sit over us and pour out buckets of water and it will push this warm, wet front on thru.
:umbrella: :flower3:
and in 9 days get ready for.... :beach:

hmm, I will have to look on the baking aisle next time I go to Publix...I usually avoid that one!

The rain has finally stopped...but still a dreary day. I am glad the polls are open until 7.

Amazing, we mentioned to my mom about spending the night over the Tgiving weekend so we could go to WDW....and somehow, it has turned into , "we are coming for Tgiving" and "she is watching the girls"....no we definitely won't be going over there.

Spent my lunch hour voting (not too busy) and then I thought I would run to Wal-Mart to pick up our copy of Cars. Nathan will be so excited when he sees it…. :)

While at Wal-Mart I thought I might start a little Christmas shopping for the kids so I got Allie the Little People Farmhouse, a Disney Princess purse set, a Giggle doll and a Graco doll stroller. I got Nathan the red Mystic Force Power Ranger Dragon thing and the Cars Leapster game.

Of course it always takes longer than you think at Wal-Mart and when I was in the checkout lane I remembered that we also needed diapers. Why is that I always forget at least one thing I need. Aaron said he would swing by after work so at least I don’t have to go back right away.

I also made my spa appointment to get my birthday manicure/pedicure before the cruise. I was able to get 4:00 on Wednesday, December 6th and we leave the next day so I am really looking forward to it. I will be there about 2 ½ hours so I really need to make sure that I don’t have much last minute stuff to do. Hopefully this will force me to get everything done early so I can come home from the spa and just relax the night before.

I really am starting to get some of those last to-do items checked off my list. I can’t believe that in just one month we will be on our way!!! :woohoo:

I may be rethinking the CC cruise. I think I may have romanticized it in my mind. And for two hours and having to pay for both kids....hmmm....not sure. We are still doing the Eco-tour, which I am hoping will give us an island narrative......

Well, I am lost with all the techie posts so I will just watch the CMAs until we get back to the regular cruise talk. :)

Lisa -- Sorry 'bout all that techie stuff last night. At least I was boosting the overall posting count........right?! :goodvibes

Do you think when people come to our front door they know we are a Disney family?

Congrats on Egg Nog latte season again!! :woohoo:

Are we giving up on the Five Guys mini-meet? It seems like all of a sudden, life is very, very busy here.

I am also doing really well with my WW. I was really good at my friends mini party last night too.

Even with this past week's 2,000+ mile road trip where we ate out every meal (plus a Christmas party for work) I lost 4/10ths of a pound! My DW lost 2 pounds! :woohoo:

the mac versus pc thing has me intrigued. I have always been a pc. we did have access to the real old apple machines and they really stunk.........good luck and enjoy getting your new machine. I love presents.

That was my experience with the old Apple machines.....problems.

But they do get high marks from Consumer Reports for service. And I found out last night that they now have local stores. One is only about 15 minutes from our house. Who knew!?! :confused3

I will just be happy to be able to DIS from the comforts of my bed late at night soon! :surfweb:

It's killing me. I've already been kicked off once. I thought it was because I was being rude to yankees.

Either that or it's because I have a PC instead of a Mac.

When we moved to NC I was shocked by the number of natives who actually thought that I moved from the North. Yes, VA is north of NC BUT they meant the north as in the Civil War. OY BOY! I finally had to stop their nonsense by pointing out that VA had to be OK since their capital was in our state. :rolleyes1 They actually tried to argue that Richmond wasn't in VA back then. OY BOY! OY BOY! OY BOY! :rotfl:

Having been born in NC I understand what you are saying. Most of the natives really believe that everything north of the state is "Yankee" territory.

Just voted before coming into the Library. :thumbsup2

I'm amazed they don't require you to show proof of identification. Guess they figure it would be too difficult to figure out a name of someone on the voting lists and pretend to be that person? :confused3

Lisa - is that 20 families? or just 20 total headcount.

that's pretty good if so.

20 people. :) and I think that 3 more people checked in today.

OK, whose fault is it that we are half way to 48000 this afternoon??? I spent the day catching up with Kathryn and returning carnival stuff that wasn't opened to WM. I picked up Cars so the kids should be good tonight. :thumbsup2 I will be able to catch up here.
