At the Halloween party we went to, there were friends of ours - a dentist and his wife. One year she told us, she was made to give out toothpasted by her DH . . . She said one kid said to her "This isn't really toothpaste is it? I bet when I squeeze it, it is candy" She said she told him no, it is toothpaste, and then went in the house and hid!

the new ipods do not come with a disc, iTunes gets updated to often, for the disk to be up today for more then a couple of weeks.

that makes sense PJ - I wondered after I posted that thinking of the recent updates for the shuffle that came out today but also because of the new packaging. Did you see the patents for the touch screen they have on all the rumor boards. Cool beans!

Speaking of whispering canyon - DH tried to get away with ketchup on his eggs secretly. A guy busing a table nearby was willing to be covert but I think our nephew or DD told on him.

Excellent. He is great isn't he! So no DSL capabilities in area? Verizon needs a big ol' tower in your neck of the woods.

My mom and dad have DSL. They live a mile away. They told me that they do not yet have the capabilities to run on fiber optic lines (in our area) they can only run on copper lines. My parents have a 30 some year old house with copper lines. We have a new (6 year old) house with fiber optic lines. They said that the next wave of upgrades will include fiber optic lines. It can't come soon enough for me!

My DM tries the whole covert ketchup trick, it back fired on her last trip to WCC, i still ended up doing outbound ketchup duty.

GA is over and I watched it sitting in the living room on this nice big comfy chair. Now I am on the ibook. DH just came upstairs and asked whether I was still watching tv (uhm its off). I replied nope. He said do you mind if I watch The Wire. I said no prob....but here is my question. Does that mean I need to move or can I stay in the big comfy chair that directly faces the tv?

From your description of Carl, I could just see all that ketchup at your table! WCC would be a perfect spot to take an unsuspecting spouse for some fun.

They made me get down on one knee and propose again to Amy to show this guy how it should be done . . . I think Amy was more embarassed than I was - I was hamming it up. They took a single guy and a single girl from opposite ends of the dining room and made them sit together - it was a RIOT!

That's the kind of stuff I LOVE about WDW!

DD had a wonderful concert tonight. it was a "Diva" concert just with the women's chorus. they started the concert with "warrior" by the weir sisters. I had never heard it but it sent shivers up and down my spine. DD is an alto and you could tell that she just loves to sing. some of the girls up on stage were in my girl scout troop until 5th grade. they sure have grown up fast. the concert lasted about 45minutes and was just amazing. I remember being in chorus and feeling so full of life when I sang. I am so glad to see that DD enjoys it just as much. seeing a stage full of teenagers who really enjoy what they are doing is so great. I really needed a night like tonight. I missed GA and I missed survivor but the show that I saw was better than any of them. I guess we really should look into a DVR.

Yes, for sure! It does require special items (over the door shoe bag, duct tape, etc).

mmmm sounds like BS to me.... Our neighorborhood is all newer homes. No problems getting DSL here.... In MD some of the more rural areas without the upgraded fibre optic lines do not get DSL...

If fibreoptics were the problem...no one in MD could get DSL... Most of our neighborhoods have been built in the last 5-10 years...
