Just got back from out 1st back-to-back on the Dream. For both trips, we were lucky enough to be able to book a family stateroom on the bump-out. 1st cruise was in 11004 and the 2nd was in 12510. Both staterooms had huge balconies and sleep 4 (no murphy bed). 11004 was directly across from the spa and 12510 was just across from the concierge lounge. The main difference between the 2 cabins was that 11004 has the curved, clear plexi top. Any questions, please ask :thumbsup2

Thank you! We are in 11004 and 11006 on our December cruise and it is good to see the pictures of 11004. I had found pictures on 11006, but not 11004. Since we need the HA room (11006) this trip, we had to go with Deck 11. Was sitting out on Deck 11 as loud as others have mentioned?

Wonderful pics! :goodvibes. You are making me home sick ;)

We are staying in a bump out on deck 12 in February. They look huge!

I take it you were starboard?? If so were you able to sit on your balcony to view the fireworks??

We didn't find it loud at all :-)

Yes, 12510 is on the starboard side. We were up on deck for the fireworks so not sure about viewing them from the stateroom.

We've stayed in 12510 twice and watched the fireworks from there both times. Bon Voyage!pirate:

Thanks for sharing your photos. We were in Cat V for the first time this summer and loved it! We did not have the bump out, but it looks great. Hoping to get a 1 bedroom next time....:)

We loved the lounge and the whole experience. We are hooked!pixiedust:

I have been checking periodically to see if a bump out stateroom was available and got lucky today! we'll be in stateroom 12010 and are very excited to have the bump out!

I have a question. Is it possible to walk across the sofa bed at night when it is put down to get to the balcony. We were in 12506 on our last cruise on the Dream so we did not have to worry about it but we will be in 12510 on the Fantasy next year and this is my only concern.

We were in 12504 on the fantasy in april 2013. We used the sofa bed each night as it was myself, my sister in law and my 5 year old son. My sister in law slept in the pull out and since she never went to bed before I did I can't be sure that you could walk by without bothering the person sleeping there. I will say that it was a tight fit but I do believe you can keep your feet on the ground and slip between the desk/dresser and the pull out.

Hi Everyone

Hope this isn't a silly question but what is bump out. We completed our first DCL cruise in May of this year on The Fantasy and we are looking at booking another one in Conceirge.

Our last one we were in 10652 which we was great for us but my hubby would luv to book concierge. As we are in Australia we don't know much about DCL.

Also does DCL have onboard credit?

Thank you for your advise :)

You can see the 'bump outs' on deck 11, 12 and 13 on the deck plans.

Decks 11 & 12 have cabins that are on an area of the ship that extends out from the side so the verandahs are larger.
All of the cabins on this bump-out are concierge. Deck 11 is only available on the port (left) side and deck 12 has bump-out cabins on both sides.

DCL doesn't offer on-board credits when you book directly but you can often get them from a Travel Agent when you book through them.

Hmmm, this makes me wonder something. We have 12510 booked on the Fantasy for next Sept for our daughter, her hubby and 3 kids, and you say on the Dream it only sleeps 4. Do you think there's a difference between the two ships? Surely we couldn't have booked a room that didn't sleep all the guests, right?

Correct - you wouldn't have been able to book if you had more guests than fit in the stateroom.
