11004 and 12510 Bump-Out Concierge on the Dream

Here are some pics from 12510, also on the bump-out but deck 12 and the starboard side of the ship:

We were able to get loungers on the dream in both 12008 and 12512. We had to ask concierge, but after we did, the stateroom host brought it up within minutes! They were awesome for afternoon napping and laying outside at night to watch the stars! :cool1:

Never asked for loungers as we were happy to have all of that open space on our verandah :-)

Just wondering about recent cruisers experiences with loungers on the bump outs? Thank you :)

We're booked in 11004 on the Dream in April. So happy to see the pics of the veranda! I'll request loungers the minute we board!:thumbsup2

Looking at 11004 for Fantasy in April. Did you feel the plexiglass caused any issues? Did it make it hotter or amplify noise from other balconies? Just wondering if we would miss having a completely open balcony.

Also, did you have any issue with noise from the gym across the hall, particularly early in the morning? I'll be using the gym frequently, but don't want to be woken up early from noise coming from the gym. Thanks

Thank you! We are in 11004 and 11006 on our December cruise and it is good to see the pictures of 11004. I had found pictures on 11006, but not 11004. Since we need the HA room (11006) this trip, we had to go with Deck 11. Was sitting out on Deck 11 as loud as others have mentioned?

We didn't find it noisy at all when we will in 11004 last year. We loved the room and booked it again on the fantasy and we leave in just under two weeks! Can't wait.

I was really concerned about these things and can truthfully say we loved it. We had one not so nice day that we were so grateful for the extra protection from the wind. We loved it so much we booked it again for a week on the fantasy. You will love it :)

Thanks for the input. It has been very helpful.

We're booked in 11004 on Dream in April, our 1st DCL cruise ever! I submitted a request via Shoreside Concierge for loungers on our veranda. Would be nice, since we have additional space in the bump-outs... We'll see what happens. Will post results in my TR.

Can't wait! :cool1:

Oohh...good luck. That is a good idea. I should try that too

On the Fantasy they will have a 42" flat panel TV at the end of the queen bed in addition to the smaller one over the desk. IRRC only the two most forward V's (one on each side, connecting to the cat R's)on the Dream have this larger TV at the foot of the bed.

HTH

This was the thing we missed the most on the Dream after cruising the Fantasy. We were in 12004 on the Fantasy and 12022 on the Dream.

Didn't notice any extra noise or heat. If anything, it was quieter than the open verandahs.

I just booked Cat V today on Dream deck 12. I was not aware that the bump outs were part of the balcony. I got the last Cat V on Deck 12 but now I will keep scouring to find one on the bump out but only on Deck 12.

How do I keep checking? On the website do I keep put the cabin number in or call or both? If I find it on the website, how do I keep it for myself so it wont get scooped up? Can I hold it like a booking?

Thanks so much!

You can call or if you booked through a TA, let them know & they should keep an eye out for you.

I'm booked in 11004 for our Halloween cruise (oct 31-Nov7 fantasy) and I was concerned about feeling closed in, or as if there was a megaphone/echo to the deck with the enclosure. You've made me feel better about this room and I think we will just go with the flow and hope we love it as much as you did! ☺️

Thanks to whoever bumped this thread.

I was told by shoreside that we couldn't get loungers for our deck 12 bump-out, should I assume I might get a different answer from onboard hosts?

Hey :) guess it was me who bumped it!! Lol-- I actually was thinking of asking the same thing (if we could have loungers) but I was thinking it probably would be better to ask concierge once on the ship, they'd probably have better luck at either granting/not granting the request than shoreside I think. I plan to wait and ask once onboard ☺️
