11/29/03 Eastern-only 2 days left !!! SINGLE DIGITS!!

Please add us to the list!! We're cruising with you on November 29th ..... my DH and DS4 and me, of course. This is our first Disney Cruise but DH and I have been on lots of other cruises. We LOVE cruising and hope DS does too. This could be the first of many for him.

NJ Cruisers, Welcome!
You are going to have a great time on the cruise. I will be there with my 5 yr old nephew and my parents, and I can't wait. This will be my 3rd Disney cruise - my parents 8th! I wouldn't cruise any other cruise line. Your son is going to have the time of his life! I just went out last night to buy the pillow cases and Tshirts to have the characters sign for my nephew, never too early to start planning!!

Favorite Auntie- Have you cruised with nieces and nephews before? If so how was it? Any difficulties? (identification, etc) If we love this cruise we are considering taking our niece and nephew next year.

I never have. I have gone with my parents who are in their 60's and then this past January a friend of mine came with us. But I always felt like I should have at least one of the kids with us! My parents have taken 5 of the other grandkids at different times, but this nephew has never gone. His mother is having a baby in October, so this will be a good vacation for everyone involved! From what my family has told me about this cruise with kids it is going to be great! I am sure he will have to be taken from the club kicking and screaming! He is a great little kid and I am really excited to be able to share this with him!:bounce:

I've always gone w/ my DH, 2 sisters that have no kids, and my parents. All adults. This time, I'll have a 7 1/2 month old and I have 2 nieces & 3 nephews going too---ages 6,5, 2, 15months, and 8 1/2 months. We all can't wait!!!!!!

Bearfan......... For now we are staying at POR Thurs. and Friday night. Are you flying out of O'hare or Midway? It was less expensive for us to fly out on Thursday. That is the same trip we planned for Nov. 2002.

I haven't posted on this thread in a while but we are still going and can't wait. Glad to see so many kids. My son is 9 and he loved the kids club last time.

We'll be in double digits for the countdown soon!!!!

Hi again Lampskies,
We haven't gotten our tickets yet, but since we're near the WI-IL line, it'll probably be O'Hare. I'm working Fri am so we're coming down Fri am. I'm finding it cheaper to go home on a Monday instead of a Sunday. We'll be getting a car (Avis) and driving out to Cocoa Beach and probably stay at the Holiday Inn Express there. People gave it really good reviews on a previous thread. We stayed at DL last November. Keep your fingers crossed that people are healthier this year!

I will be on this cruise with my sons, ages 16 & 10 (well, 11 since he'll have a birthday on the cruise!). We are in cabin 7565, but hope to upgrade at the terminal.

If there are any SCUBA divers on this in St. Thomas. Details on the excursion at http://www.shoretrips.com/common/search3.asp?rcode=CAR&lcode=STT called SCUBA Two Tank... They also have a beach trip at the same location for us non-SCUBA family members (St. Thomas Funpak). Please reply, if interested.

Thanks,

DisneyGirlTinkerbell

BearFan........I know it will be healthier this year.......bad news; Magic will be in dry dock this fall and ESPN sports bar goes away...............Good news; Magic goes into dry dock for two weeks and if there are any illness left on board the should have time to go away with the overhaul.

Had to go all the way back to page 4 to find out thread!!!

I just got our room assignment. 5000, all the way forward and on the port side ( I think) Sounds like a great location, near the kids clubs and everything. I am getting very excited!!!:bounce:

I think since you started this thread, you are the only one who can edit the original post subject. It would be great if you could add the countdown days to the subject and change it weekly as we get closer to sailaway! That would keep the post in view and maybe pick up new travelers. I quoted my previous list and have two new families to add

NJ CRUISERS 3(DS4) FIRST TIME DCL, MANY OTHER CRUISES

Anyone else out there going with us?

Right now we can account for 104 cruisers with 103 days to go!

Is anyone staying at the Raddison the night before? Has anyone stayed there before, and used the shuttle? I was wondering if it would be easier to schedule a cab if the shuttle is a hassle of getting there when you want.

TCROMW1013,

We'll be staying the Radisson, too. We've stayed there before - in May 2002. We had no problems at all getting the shuttle and arriving early. I do remember we were advised to try to make a reservation for the shuttle as soon as we could when we checked in. We checked in pretty early, as we plan to do again (around lunch time).

I think I read somewhere on these boards that cabs are few and far between. I also read in another thread that the Radisson has purchased 2 more vans. Hopefully, that will make it even easier to get to the port when you want.

Kathy
