I will have to keep an eye on him. He has saved $2.73 for souveners this year so he will be going hog wild blowing it left and right. Thats why I am the keeper of the stash


At least this cruise we can feel free to check our FE without fear of whats in it

Face book is to complicated for us. We're a little to "socially impaired" to keep up.
Besides, I've got people who want to be my friends and I don't even know who they are.....and other "friends" who I thought I'd gotten rid of years ago who have now found me when I didn't want to be found.

How did the boys team do now that all is done?

Last night I saw a video of my grandsons marching band at their last competition and they got 1st place so now they get to go to the state finals on Nov 7th. The video was taken by a parent and very well done but for some reason she never zoomed in on my grandson??
He was one of the 3 Tuba players.


I told DD that next time make sure someone zooms in on him Right now about 1/3 of the band is out with the flu So hoping they will be better by the 7th or theres no point in competiting.

Chayce opted not to do any sports this year and it was sort of a relief for me! Trying to get 4 kids to piano, dance, karate and school activities was about all I could handle this year.

gosh its cold again this morning. Plus its drizzly rain this morning , later to be heavy rain. Time to wear the heavy coat, boots and gloves again oh yes and my stocking cap and umbrella to stay warm.

Good morning Kathy.

Well, I've got clear skies and sun shine this morining, but it is cold....about 33 right now!

Now are you sure the announcement is today? We know how you get when you don't take your meds.

Brayden got the H1N1 shot last night. Janel took him over to the clinic at the high school and was one of the lucky ones who got it before they ran out. It wasn't to bad....she said they only waited in line about an hour and a half.

Guess I'd better get some work done today....I'll check in later.

We had some flu shots arrive here too. Of course it wasnt announced until after they arrived. They send 1,100 doses for about 10,000 people. I know they were for the high risk but still it was ridiculious. Many people waited up to 5 hours to be told they were out. These people stood in the rain and cold.

They called all the pregnant ladies to the front, which was ok I guess, but how about all those old people who cant hardly stand, why didnt they call them next instead of everyone but preggies had to wait. I think if they gave priviledged line cutting to one set of people they should have done it for others.

I am sure many wernt high risk too. Greg would like to get one but a working man cant take a day off work to stand in line for a day just to not get one, plus when they dont give advanced notice, its impossible to get there.

Hopefully after we get back they will have more and he can get one, me too Luckily I am not in the high risk group for this flu.

Well I am out of here until lunch time and then to watch the pod cast from DCL, YES i have it correct today, I hope!!

That darn Disney, they are teasing us!!

They are showin soem great pictures of what the ship will look like inside but youhave to tune in tomorrow at 5:45 P.M. for the live talk and question and answer seession to get any real information.

Also at 9 a.m they have another something on the pod cast to watch.

On the other hand they will have the AQUA DUCK!!!
Its got a cool photo of it. Its a water coaster slide that goes along the upper side of the ship and it clear so you can see people going on it.


I know there will be more things. They wont release everyting at once.
The new restaurants look great and so do the kids areas.



Good news also about my mom today. My brother go tto visi ther today and she has mentally improved. She was happy and mangeable to talk with although child like but that wont change. She likes her new room and room mate very well and has been sleeping in her room again so she is getting rest.

The swelling in her ankles and feet has actually gone down some so she can wear her comfortable shoes. So although she is still going downhill physically she now has quality to her life again and is not sad and upset all the time.

She did have a panic attack the other day so they are asking the Dr for a drug to help immediate symptons with that when needed. She had those before she got so ill and they were aweful. She built up an immunity to the drugs for it, so they are going to try something new.

Anyway I will go and see her before leaving on sunday. Its been 8 weeks since I have seen her. So that was awesome news for me today

I didn't even tune in to see it....figured I'd find out what all the hipe was eventually.

You'll probably be able to enjoy your cruise a lot more knowing she's doing better.

I looked on the CC club tonight and thats where a lot of info is. Lots of virtual pictures of the new ship.
I didnt give dates for itenaries yet, it just said 3, 4 and 5 day cruises.
5 day adds Key West , the rest is the same Nassau and CC.

Tomorrow at 9 a.m. and 5:30 P.M. I believe they are announcing more info.
The ship is awesome and they have added a lot of changes for people.

i love the water roller coaster Aqua Duck and the statue in the atrium is Donald duck.
The family pool is also Donad this time instead of goofy. The inside decor is totally different and the lay out has a lot of different things too. From what I read the buffet is much improved too and there are 2 speciality restaurants . Palos and they didnt say ther other ones names.

The inside rooms have a virtual port hole window over the head of the bed too which is kind of nice.

If i hear where the first cruise is going i will post it,
