I just ended up with greasy hot knuckles that smelled of Bengay and a face full of spit!....and a rubber chicken that the dog uses as a chew toy now?!

We missed out on virtually all the storms. Got a nice rain in the night Friday but it cleared up and was a beautiful day on Saturday.

Just the time difference sets me back a few hours.

We had weird sounding thunder last night. I had thought it was the wind but it wasnt. No rain though.
This morning the sun is peaking out but I didnt watch the news so I dont know what to expect today.

My day will be dedicated to finding a light weight cardigan sweater on line for my mom. No stores around here have them this time of the year. I hope it will be what she likes because i hate returning things through the mail. I am 30 miles from the nearest post office.

Nothing else going on today.

I am waiting to hear all about the mini meet with photos!!!

Morning all, well it's officially hot here. 95 this morning going up to 110 Yep this is our winter, just too hot to go outside.

Had a good weekend with my nephew. Spent all day at the Golden Nugget pool on Friday and watch UFC fight on Saturday.

nothing going on here a horrible monday here at work.....short staffed and one of our doctors was injured pretty bad over the weekend playing ball and he will be out a couple of weeks, so that means rescheduling 2 weeks of patients so all I have to say is....I cant wait till this day is over.

Now I have a questions for all the computer people out there.
Had to cancel comcast and then have it re-instated for my tv and computer. now I cannot use my screen name and all my email is gone....if I call comast can they get me back into the old account so I can get my emails or do I need to contact everyone and switch my email address? This is not making me happy right now......

Probbly best to call and talk to someone and explain the situation and see what they say. At least then you'll now or sure and have the correct information.

It is cool this morning and headed for upper 80's then the next few days in the 90's and maybe even a triple digit one day
Nothing like you have Christine bur Oregon rarely reaches triple digits.

At least when it gets that hot I dont need to cook. Just salads and cold sandwiches will do. I like to cook but I hate doing dishes, so no cooking = less dishes

Have I mentioned before that sharing the computer is the pits!

I've been busy with errands, cleaning, sewing and swimming. Elizabeth comes nearly every day to swim before nap time. Had one of Stephanie's friends over this afternoon. She has a daughter the same age as Elizabeth.

Tomorrow, Skylar has 4 friends coming over for the afternoon. Suppose to be a pool party...

Yep, just staying inside with the A/C on. I can't even imagine what our power bill is going to be. When it gets this hot the A/C doesn't shut off.

You always seem to just beatme to posting in the mornings. Headed for mid to upper 90's again today My electric bill will be higher too but you gotta have AC in this heat.
I dont know how the pioneers managed in all the heat.

No special plans today. My son Peter is here to visit for awhile which is nice.

I will be leaving late tomorrow afternoon and returning sunday evening so I can visit my mom, so you guys will have to keep up the thread while i'm gone. No internet there.

Who has plans this weekend?

At 11 a.m. we were 61 degrees at noon we were 84 and rising
So I had to turn on the AC by noon today.

Staying in all i can, even too hot for the dogs!

It's going to be 117 on Saturday Right now if you leave your car park in the sun the temps are reading 140!!!!!
