YEA KATHY.....We have to keep Greg at bay!!!!

Morning everyone. Even though the this cruise is over two years aways Joey and I were talking about it this weekend (since it will be the next Disney Cruise we go on). We are both really excited for the new ships and actually wouldn't mind if we had to do a back 2 back 3/4 day cruise. Two days at Castaway Cay and all the rest on the ship. I think it would be cool the have the whole ship to ourselves when we dock back in Port Canaveral. How does everyone else feel about a possible back 2 back?

Chirstine: I would be ok with back 2 back......I dont really care we were go as long as I'm on a ship and its moving!!!! Again, I think we will just need to wait and see if its taking the place of the wonder or magic....either way, I'm there!!!! Plus I have been asking around and have stuck some interest in some of my friends...so I'm hoping to have a group join us this year.

Nothing much going on here.....just work and enjoying our cool weather.

Have a good one all

Keep me at bay?....when was the last time I got a top anyway? :rolleyes1

It will be interesting to see where the new ships are going and how much of a premium DCL is going to charge for their new Flagship? :scared:

I know for our family we would rather take a cruise to some place we haven't been before.

The Wonder is moving to CA in 2011, so we know the new ship will be replacing the it. It will be so nice when I can drive to a disney ship, I'll be able to get a lot of last minute deals that way:thumbsup2

Oh boy....if the new ship is replacing the Wonder for the 3-4 day Bahama cruises that probably puts us out for 2011.

Just getting us back on page 1.

Woo hoo I get to make my ADRs this Sunday. Should be interesting using the new on-line system. I will be up at 3am to get what I want. Usually we don't make too many ADRs we I am getting the dinning plan so I had a sit down restaurant planned for every night.

You will really like the online system. It works better, is MUCH faster than the time spent on the phone and is easier to use.

Morning all,
Christine has raised a good point about the Wonder being replaced first.
This reunion was based on the idea of being on the new ship but it was the idea of a 7 day , hopefully with a new port like the magic does. Not a B to B 3-4 day cruises.
That is something everyone must think about i guess.:thumbsup2

We would probably not do a B to B because that means only Nassau and Castaway Cay and it always costs more to do that than a 7 day cruise which doesnt ,make sense to pay more for 2 ports and then repeat the 2 ports.

So for us we would probably still do the Magic and hope to do an Eastern this time or a new port in there somewhere which they do have now and then.
Of course we wont know for several months just what their itenaries will be.
Who knows we may wind up having a Bananahead split for the reunion cruise.
Part on the Magic and part on the new ship?

Have a great day everyone,
I need to get busy and get a few things done before it gets HOT later today.

Everyone should post how they feel about the 2 ships so people will decide what they are going to do.

Kathy

Afternoon all:

Well my thought on this whole b 2b...bannana split thing is....

Disney needs to hold off on the 3/4 cruises and focus on the 7 days....so they should have the first ship out be for the 7 days.....keep the wonder here to to the 3/4 and send the magic to california.....there ya go.....just needed a women to figure this whole thing out:lmao::lmao:

not much going on here....we are having a little warm up right now....talking rain by the weekend again. :scared:

have a good one all

Greg,

I've got the perfect solution for you. We can do a 3-4 day cruise and spend the rest of the time at the parks!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2

Oh man! :sad2:

Let's break this down.......3 day cruise for my family of 6 approx. $5000 for two cat 10 connecting cabins.....divide $5000 by 3 days or 72 hours comes out to about $69.44 per hour.

4 day park hopper passes for family of 6 to WDW is $1509.00 divided by 4 days or 96 hours come to $15.72 per hour for a grand total for fabulous land and sea package of $6509.00 or $85.16 per hour and once you tack on food and accomidations we're over $100 per hour?!

I don't know about you.....but for $100.00+ per hour I'd better have a 2 room suite, steak and lobster every night plus complimentary massages when ever I want them! :lmao:

Good morning everyone,

well we survived another hot day here but nothing like whats coming this weekend.
Pretty quiet around here, as usual. My mother actually wrote me a letter which was a nice surprize. I know the facility where she is will even provide stamps if they ask for them. On friday she is going on a 6 hour fishing trip for their field trip this week. They can fish (with supervison from the handicap area) or just enjoy sitting around the shaded picnic area and then they will have a picnic lunch.
If my brother doesnt have jury duty he will be going with her. Family is always welcome on any weekly trip.

I hope everyone is having a good day today.:goodvibes

I will check back later to see who has dropped by.

I see Greg and Brantley have checked in recently. HI guys:cool1:
