So here is a new challenge, 12,000 posts by the cruise
what do you guys think?

Plus a few personal goals are still to be met. Josh is headed to 500 if he ever has days off from work to post.

You guys are with it today! Was doing good on the housework but stopped midway to play with Elizabeth while her mother went to the store. But now I have to get crackin' again because only 2 hours and I start all over getting the boys. I cleaned out my closets when I had my garage sale this summer. It was nice while it lasted! What I really need to do is finish the tiling in the kitchen and redo the bedroom in the basement. (paint, carpet, update the lighting, and outfit it)

Jeff, I had to talk with a CSR to apply money. The computer (even on the phone) wouldn't let me apply a payment because there was zero balance. I take it that most people don't do this .

The sun has come out! Wish the leaves would turn. I bet we'll end up just losing them without getting the color. They are starting to fall and we haven't had a frost yet.

Thanks Dawn - and that's what is happening here. Leaves falling no color. That's why I say Fall is over rated...especially when you consider what comes next.

For everyone who is book GTY...Just called DCL to put money in my onboard account and she was telling me that our rooms will probably be assigned next Thursday or Friday...that's when they get ready to print our cruise documents ...and they like to assign all rooms before they print the documents...

You can call or fax your onboard account request...the numbers are listed online next to all the extra stuff you can buy...like stateroom decorations...etc...the phone number I use is (800) 601-8455. She told me anything we don't spend will go back on my credit card. I really don't see that being a problem though

We booked through Costco just before DCL changed their rules and stopped allowing travel agencies to discount so heavily. I called Costco today and they contacted DCL to see about any price drops. We are several hundred dollars less than the current rates but I'm glad I checked. There was a mix up about our Disney Visa booking credit and they straighted it out. whew!

Is there an advantage to putting $$ on your onboard account prior to arriving? I can see charging it up front to the Disney Visa and then having a few extra disney dollars to spend, but is there something else I'm missing?

Sorry haven't posted yet today. I pulled my back out have been laying in bed all morning. It's getting a little better but not much. Getting old S****.

Anyway, on my last cruise I didn't get my $50 ship board credit for paying with my Disney Visa. It took them 3 days (I was on a 4 day) to finally give it to me. I even checked with DCL right before I left and they said it was there. When we got to our room there was on (1) $50 credit for booking online. Just a heads up for everyone to make sure you get your credit. It will be on a card in your room. OK, going to take a lortab and pass out.

Hi all...just checking in...took me a while to catchup since yesterday but I did it!!! Glad to see that there was a lot of good news - good test results, 2 year anniversary's, 7 cents found in a closet, etc...except for the mailbox incident, it sounds like everyone is having a great day!!

Went to the neurosurgeon with my mom today-neck NOT healing. It has been almost 7 weeks . My mother needs to have surgery-ASAP. He wanted to admit her today-but that took us off guard-he needs to admit her a day or two before surgery because of her bleeding issues-plans to admit her on Saturday and do the surgery on Monday-very risky he tells us but the alternative is to live in pain everyday of her life with a neck brace on that she HATES!! Her bleeding disorder may play a major part of this surgery. Thanks for letting me vent!
