Well I went and did it last night. Made reservations for 2 of our nights at the Contemporary. I've always wanted to stay there and watch the fireworks from a balcony! Everyone says it will be worth it but the cost was dear! Oh well, that will be the airline tickets that I didn't buy!

Staying close to home today as well, temps are suppose to be 94 - 98 degrees! The boys have a birthday party this afternoon so I'll plan on doing some sewing.

We got our flight booked! Woohoo.... Now I'm ready to book excursions...and Palo.....mmmmm... I loved that dish they served at our evening meal. It was some sort of portabello mushroom stuffed with pollenta. I'm ready to go back just for that. C'mon August 26th!

Oh, and about the Palo stuff, I'd have to say that MY favorite dessert was the creme brulee. Does anyone but me hope that they have the chocolate lava cake???

Yeah, no problem.
I see that your part Native American. Is that true? My mom tells me that my great grandmother was Native American too. Not sure what tribe though...

Yes Josh,
it is true I am part Cherokee from Oklahoma. My mom and oldest brother are registered tribal members and can vote in their elections and such. My grandmother got money from the government because her close relatives died on the Trail Of Tears when they moved the Cherokee.
I don't have any of the indian features but my mom has the high cheek bones and so did her mom.

Josh....I knew that I was heading into shark infested waters with the Katie stuff...sometimes you have to test yourself (the sharks got my hair a few years ago and are STILL braggin)! S'ok, though....I only tease people that are special to me (I make Woo feel special quite often---my bad, hon). I know better than to rile Woo up anyways...she knows waaaaaay too much about me and collateral damage could be heavy.

Wow, I miss one day of posting and war breaks out. You guy are brutal...I love it

It's been a crazy few days. If I haven't said it before, I'll say it now. Don't own your own busisness...it's so not worth it. My DH loves it but I absolutely hate it.

Anyway, I'm back now and less stressed .

I was so excited when I got home last night the Travel Channel had on the DCL Special (for like the 100th time). At least they updated it a little bit. Hey since most of us have at least been on one Disney Cruise why don't we share our pictures for the others that have not (kinda like the Picture of the day thread) I bet we have enough pictures to last until we leave. Here is mine for the day:
