Well, we are VERY excited! We leave on Wednesday for a Wonder cruise.:cool1: We have twenty six people cruising with us and cannot wait! We're praying for good weather. Rain is being predicted though, so we're hoping the weather forecasters aren't very accurate.;) Have a great weekend everyone!

Enjoy!!! Have a safe trip!!!

My friend called after getting off the cruise this morning. She said the water at CC was already getting chilly. She says she can't imagine what it will be like when we go next November. I said even then, there'll still be plenty to do to keep us busy! She had a great time and wonderful dinner at Palo's.

I wouldn't worry. Time and tides are flexible, things will change.:beach: Every day, every year.

Susan--Just wanted to wish you guys safe travels. Have fun and enjoy your long weekend! I'm sure the only umbrellas that you'll see will be the ones floating in your drinks.

BON VOYAGE!

Hello everyone,

I've just read 25 pages of all the postings for the cruise. Wanted to join in. We will be on our 2nd cruise with you guys. Myself(Lora 37) DH Bob 45, DD Mackenzie 7, and DD McKenna 2. We will also be taking Sister in Law Melinda 37 with us. This will be her first EVER vacation. My husbands family never vacationed and their mother had a stroke last September and she now lives alone in a supervised apartment complex. She is slightly mentally challenged from a fever when she was an infant. She functions independently, just has trouble with money and thinking skills. Sometimes she is on a childs level as far as characters and movies and the such, but aren't we all!!! Anyway, we are bringing her with us.

I've read about the native choice thing in Costa Mays and as going to check out their website.

I saw where zakatak was talking about Southwest. Can't wait for them to get to November booking.

We are planning on Flying from Dulles on Friday and staying at the Hyatt at the airport.

Hope to meet some of you.

Lora

:welcome: Lora and family!! Glad you found us!

Is your DD 2 now or will she be 2 on the cruise? DS will turn 2 the week before the cruise.

There is no Southwest out of Des Moines, Allegiant is the only one that has direct flights to Orlando and they fly into Sanford not MCO (they are also WAY cheaper than everybody else). We're trying them out in December and hope all goes well.

The girls will be 8 and 3. Both with Sept birthdays. We flew Southwest in May for our 1st cruise and they we wonderful. With flying with under 5 yo's you can be the first to board. They have open seating and those with littleones and disabilities board 1st. Just a little info on them.

Bumping us off of the dreaded page 3.

Beautiful weather in Iowa this weekend. DS had his first marching band competition last night. It was fun to watch. Today we're having a lazy day at home.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Hi, Stacie! We had a FABULOUS cruise! The weather was absolutely gorgeous! The water temp at CC was just perfect and all in all, it was a great trip! We did have some very rough seas last night, and my mother threw up the entire night. I think she has now decided that land vacations are for her.:lmao: It bothered me too though. I have had no sleep and am going to bed early tonight! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Susan

Hey Susan, welcome back. I got a pic of you guys sailing out on the two palms cam:

Don't know if you saw the launch Thursday morning, but someone else posted this:

Can't wait to hear about your trip.

We did get up and watch the launch. It was very cool! It shook the windows in our hotel. We had a great time and I'm not sure I can wait until Thanksgiving of 08 to sail Disney again.:confused3 I looked into the Mexican Riviera for next summer, but all that was left was cat. 4's, and the prices were OUTRAGEOUS!:sad2: I don't think I could talk DH into it, so I think we'll be waiting for Thanksgiving.

The 3 night was fun, but boy was it rushed. I am just completely exhausted and don't really feel like I had any rest at all. I'm glad we went though. Everyone in our group had a fabulous time and we'd love to all go again in the future.:goodvibes

My daughter said the same thing the other day. She asked how long until our next Disney cruise and I told her 13 months. She told me she doesn't think she can wait that long and wanted us to plan another one. Though I feel the same way, going on DCL isn't like going to WDW. We don't get annual passes to the cruise. But that sure would be nice!

I sent an email in several weeks ago asking about any planned changes from Costa Maya. The email I got back was they are still planning on our cruise going their. It just scares me as that place was devistated by hurricane Dean. Anybody have any feelings about whether or not they can have the port up and running by then?

I had heard that the Costa Maya port was built with the help of Coca-Cola, so if they help again, I think it will be up and running (and serving Coke products) by then.

Hey all of you Travelin' Turkeys!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2

I am jumpin' in here in hopes of crashing your party............we will be doing our third Disney Cruise in less than 30 days (another Eastern;) ) and I fully plan on rebooking when we are on the ship (again............yup, they got us hooked!)

With the kids getting older and not being able to miss as much school as we have been pulling them out for vacations, I am looking at booking the Nov.
22, 2008 7 nighter.

I have been all over Dreams Unlimited trying to find out the itinerary! Now I get it! No wonder Nov. 22 doesn't come up under any category! You are different..............you are, indeed, a different breed doin' the DOUBLE DIP! Is it true? What exactly are they saying your itinerary is? Costa Maya is all but destroyed...........I am very aware of that cause we went DOUBLE DIPPIN in Nov of 2006 and we  LOVED Costa Maya! I have been following what happened and have seen lots of pictures; sad indeed!

So are you guys.....
CC
Sea Day
?? Costa Maya
Cozumel
Sea Day
CC

???????????????????? Do tell!

Have they talked about Grand Cayman instead of Costa Maya? Any ideas?

We would love to Double Dip again! It was SUCH AN AWESOME CRUISE!

Take Care,
DIS NURSE:thumbsup2

I'd love if they went to Grand Cayman, since we've never been there. But we loved Costa Maya so I hope it's up and running again soon. I had problems booking too because of the different itinerary.
