Thank you for your help Rookiemouse!!!! I now have a ticker!!!! YEA!!! Now, who was making the fabulous Double Dip luggage tags? Is that something I could pretty please have sent to me so I can get them laminated???? I am getting SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!!

So...I meant photo CD...

From what I gather based on my research on these helpful boards:

One can link multiple room photos onto one CD...One room "buys" the photo CD and as long as you use a KTTW card from that "purchasing" room when you take a pic all the photos will be placed on the same CD. One can then also purchase a printout of the picture from the collection of photos. I think the price is still $399.99 for the CD on the 7 day and $299.99 on the 3-4 day cruise...please correct me on any of the above information if I am wrong.

Any ideas on how I should tell them the news. My DH says not to tell them until the day of when they see us arriving at the port.

We're also surprising our DD's with this cruise - here's our plan. Right now there is this large "hole" in the calendar between Disneyworld and going to Grandma's for Thanksgiving. What we've told them so far is that we're going to go to the beach and KSC (see, no prevarication that they can accuse us of later and go into therapy about ).

Saturday, we'll drive to the Port. Coming over the bridge, we'll see the Magic and say "Hey, girls, let's go look at the Disney ship before we go to the beach". When we pull up to the loading area, we'll get out of the car and Mom will fire up the video camera. At which point, we'll confess that although we ARE going to the beach, that we haven't exactly been forthcoming with HOW we are going to get to said beach. Because, you see, we'll be going on THAT BOAT RIGHT THERE!!!! SURPRISE!!! WE'RE GOING ON A DISNEY CRUISE!!! Much screaming to follow.

Where and/or when can we find out what movies will be showing onboard? I remember doing this last time, but that was two years ago.

I checked DCL's website and all it says is to check your Navigator for a list of current movies and times.

As time gets closer, we could ask on the main boards. Also, if Gail has internet access on her Eastern cruise, she could post them here.

I still haven't told the boys that we are going yet. Whatever I work on I have to hide once they are back home from school. Then I wait for them to go to bed, but by the time they are in bed, I'm tired myself. In the end I know they'll get done. I also have to figure out how to fit everything in my carry one. One of my FE gift is quite fragile. I also have gifts from Mickey for the boys. I got them each sand buckets and I was going to put all their goodies in the bucket.

What a wonderful surprise for your children! I get so excited about going I can't keep it to myself, so I like to share my excitement with the boys. They can watch the Travel Channel Cruise special over and over with me and not get tired of it.

I am also planning to do the sand bucket thing for the boys but I am taking the lazy way and ordering them from the website so we can pick them up on the ship. That is the only surprise they are getting.

Oh my gosh a movie listing for our cruise... this means it is really getting close

can not come soon enough...weather report here is calling for snow, after the winter we had last year I am not ready for that yet!

Awesome lineup of movies!! DS will be sky high.. he has wanted to see G-Force in 3D, as well as Toy Story and Bolt. I may never get him out of the theater...

Becky, that is SOOOOOO cool! The girls will be bouncing off the ceiling! You'll have to tether them up on deck 9 so they don't float away

On our last cruise we told the kids about the cruise, but did NOT tell them about the 5 days at WDW beforehand. The looks on their faces when we pulled up to the Wilderness Lodge was absolutely priceless.

Just over 5 weeks to go...

Wow, lots to read tonight! Very cool about the little and big surprises that many of us are planning. I just finished the Tinkerbell baskets for my girls. I will try to post a pic tomorrow. They are very cute, if I don't say so myself!
What size box do you generally ship stuff in?

Curious...how many of us are booking a future cruise onboard? Do you think 1/2 deposit will be applicable? Keeping those fingers crossed.

Made a lot of head way this weekend...shirts came today, two to make for WDW and we'll be done.

Secret Santa stuff is next!

I think SJSH Mom was referring to the photo DVDs you can purchase now. I hadn't heard any updates, however, I hadn't been paying much attention because of the price.

Is this the $400 one? I hadn't even HEARD about that one. Of course, I depend on KC for my general cruise type news as he's much more up on that kind of thing. Now I wonder why he didn't mention this CD as available...... hmmmmmmmmmmm (I wonder if he's holding out on Mickey).

If what I have heard about the Castaway Cay Post Office (and the Bahamian Postal Service in general) is true, your Christmas cards might reach their destination by.. oh... let's say... the Fourth of July! Or maybe you'll get lucky and have a "bit of a delay" in delivery, in which case Christmas 2010 is not an unreasonable expectation.

Although, getting a Christmas card postmarked Castaway Cay would be way cool!

I finally decided that, rather than drag my good suit all the way to Florida again to wear for just one night, I'm going to rent a tux through Cruiseline Formal. When he heard this, my 11-year-old son (Mr. T-Shirt and Sweats) asked if I could rent him one as well. There may be hope...

I think I might send a couple anyway. Mom would love getting something like that. Especially since she knows what a procrastinator I am. At least this time I'd have something (someone) else to blame my procrastination on! LOL

As for the child.... well, there's always hope, huh? Yep every now and again I see a light at the end of the tunnel too.... of course, with my luck it's probably an oncoming train!

We got upgraded to a CAT 9. This is very cool.

Lots of 3D in there! Hey, aren't they doing something with lasers and such to make the experience 4D? Isn't that one of the upgrades that happened in port last time? Any idea which of the 3D movies will be shown that way?

Office Max does a great job of laminating. You can get the rolled laminating or the stiffer 8"1/2 X 11".
