Woo-hoo! Got my FE last night. It looks awesome!

I also came back to the office today to a mickey mobile my coworkers made from Disney paint chips, beads and plastic lacing. Too awesome! What a nice reminder of a great trip!

Hope everyone is doing well - thanks for posting those pictures!

Welcome home. How was your trip? Isn't it nice that you get to leave soon for another one?

Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian double dippers! I'm thankful that we can all go on this cruise together. :grouphug:

Thanks! Honestly, even though it was a short four-day trip, it was one of the best. No rain, can you believe it? The Halloween party was great, the food and wine festival was great, our special dinner at California grill was great. It was ALL GREAT! And yes, having a cruise in a little over a month is taking the sting out of not being there for longer.

Now I can focus on all the cruise related stuff, like FE gifts, packing, losing weight...:rotfl:

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Your trip sounds magical. You did all our favorite things from last year - Food and Wine, MNSSHP and California Grill. They take such good care of you at California Grill - love it. And then getting to walk out to see the fireworks is an added bonus.

Slackers! We're on page TWO of the boards!! :rotfl2: Everyone head to Disney for the Halloween party or Food/Wine festival after TinLizzy's report?;)

it's my fault... I've not been posting because I've been sitting by the mail box hoping documents would come early... :rotfl:

Sounds like we are all getting anxious, hopefully we will see our cruise docs soon, I have been checking everday on the Disney site and still no flights booked for us:sad2:...hopefully soon.

But on a happier note..I saw the Magic leave today on the port cams...just think only 4 more Sailaway's until it is our turn!:banana::banana::banana:

Well, here we are on page two again.

I will let you all know as soon as I get our docs for the first leg of our b2b, then those for this trip should follow shortly. Actually, they are not as exciting as they used to be, less and less is included in the packet but, they are one more sign that our trip is getting closer.

We had some snow yesterday - didn't stick but it was snowing. Just too early for that stuff already.

And another Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian cruise buddies!

Just got back from my walk this morning, boy was it cold. However, I told my DH only one month till our sunny warm vacation. I will really need it, I travel every week this month. My DH thinks I am going into my crazy mode because I am already laying out everyone's outfits for the trip in the spare bedroom. I told him its a good time to do it since we are changing seasons but I like to think its because I am organized.:rotfl:

Well Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in Canada!

Happy Thanksgiving, Canadian Cruisers!

It's partly my fault too, that we're on page two. I was over in Massachusetts having a little 'girls weekend' and attending a scrapbook crop. It was so much fun! Our tongues wagged at both ends, I can tell you :) Plus, I got 11 pages done, my page kits packed up for the St. Croix cruise swap, and ate far too much delicious food.

Now, safely back home and doing the "waiting for documents" dance. I know, there's nothing to them, anymore but the luggage tags. Still, it's an exciting milestone.

Well, today I did my FE mapping - always fun to figure out. I will have to pay attention to who gets added at this point so I don't miss anyone. DH - good guy that he is, has offered to do decks 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9 and even 10. Isn't he nice guy??? But, two is pretty crowded and 8 has both ends covered (could be this cruise, could be the week before but one of them). Since he has never assisted with delivery, I am all over it and will take all the help I can get, expecially since I would like to get mine out on Saturday or first thing Sunday morning anyway as it is a "useful" item - or at least I hope you all find it useful. The kids - not so much....

Well, enjoy your afternoon. I guess I will go make the Xyron do some work.

I can tell that the trip is getting close because I'm starting to have all sorts of travel anxiety dreams. All of which involve my not making the necessary reservations, missing flights, and having no clue how to get where I'm going. :lmao:

I've been working a lot of hours to finish all the extended tax returns by Thursday. As soon as they are done, I can get back to the fun stuff. FE gifts are here, now I need to bag them by stateroom.

I have a question. I plan to use one ziplock bag to hold each stateroom's FE gifts. I think it should be fairly obvious who gets what, but do you think I should write each person's name and what is their gift on the label?

:hug:Becky! I hope that you get all your tax returns completed without adding any other stress to the mix. I have been known to have packing nightmares but that is about it.

As far as labeling - if it is obvious, I don't think it is necessary. You all have such imaginative sounding (well, from what I read into your posts ) I hope that no one is disappointed in my cabin gift. But, they are purchased and in the works so, as I always say, it is what it is!

Back to the kitchen table for me.

Ladies - have any of you tried those Purex 3 in 1 sheets? I used to purchase the tablets when they made them but have been taking ziplock bags of powder since they stopped (and the TSA always opens that suitcase to see what it is, must not scan well) but I got some at the grocery yesterday - they are even HE! I hope they work OK as they are in my 'packing place'.

I've never tried them personally, but I've seen them discussed a lot on the main cruise board with lots of positive responses.

OK, I'm done goofing around on the computer for a while. Going to go do my workout.

I couldn't get that link to work, Gail. Nor find the original post that you quoted it from. What am I doing wrong?

We used to use the laundry tablets too. I can't imagine why they stopped making them. Now, I just take soap powder. But I suppose if I was flying, I couldn't do that.

I say "bag the gifts by cabin" and let the recipients figure it out for themselves.

Mousemom, I so hear you about the pre trip anxiety. I ALWAYS get it - even just going away over night. You have my sympathy on that one!

Here, here. This is going to be my strategy too. I'm considering shipping them down ahead of time to the port - we'll see.

I am jealous of your scrapbooking crop - I keep taking vacations, but my scrapbooking has fallen woefully behind. I did get a few "keeper" pictures from this past trip, though.

Linda - I changed it but copied it here too.

So that was the racket keeping me up all night! :rotfl: You were in my neck of the woods. Where in MA were you?

How did you map it out already? Did you just use the spreadsheet with the cabin #'s listed? If so, you're GOOD!! WAY too organized way too soon. I have my work cut out for me!!!
