Great pictures Pam!!!

love the pics Pam!!

Thanks! They are only a couple I really like that we had taken by the photopass CM's.

Your Spectro photos are great, mine always come out a bit fuzzy! Lovely photopass photos too the shirts look great :)
I am shock they came out so well, DD camera take awful pictures.
We were in a good spot for picture taken.

I didn't mind it - but I was surprised at how fast it went. Can't say I'd all that interested in doing it again. :rolleyes1

I love the matching red and blue shirts! :goodvibes

Not fast enough for me. PHILLIES #1 April 5th home opener will be the next time we wear them all on the same day.

HELP! Does anyone else have trouble wioth photobuckey and resizing the pictures. I resize them and then they are still LARGE!:scared:

NO sleeping, Geez, ok stitch we hear you! How years have they been having him wake me up now? Time for Disney to get Mickey back to making the wake up calls. It is 8:30am.We are slowly moving at a very slow place today. Since AK would be open late tonight for EMH, we were able to catch up on some shut eye. By time we leave the room it was 9:45am. We made our oatmeal that I brought from home for breakfast at Sassagoula Floatworks. It was very easy using the hot water and then using the microwave to cook the oatmeal. DH went and bought some juices and milk.
Disney2009183-1.jpg

After breakfast we headed to the very busy bus stop. We waited around 15 minutes for a bus to AK. Everyone at the bus stop was heading there also today. The AK bus want to Blizzard Beach, which I have seen them do before. But you could tell that noon was going to blizzard beach today. So the ride to AK, took a bit longer then I wished it would have took us. We arrived at AK around 11:30am. The lines to get into AK were long. We had our photopass picture taken near the huge tree. This is the only photo I liked in front of the tree. I also choice this one for our free 5x7.
image055.jpg

:rotfl: For some reason photos of us not looking at the camera came out better on this trip, then those of us looking at the camera. I will be sharing a couple more of my favorite from the CD. All which we are looking at the guy who woke us up every day! :stitch:
The tree at AK is awesome to look at. We really enjoyed founding all the different things on the tree.
Disney2009186-1.jpg

image052.jpg

We had photos taken by photopass CM's, at both spots for the tree of life. The sun was right in our eyes for all the pictures, of course we followed the take your glasses off it makes for a better picture. NOT DON’T LISTEN TO THEM. I sure wont next time. I don’t care if every picture we have our shades on, we are in the sunshine state.:cool2:
image059-1.jpg

image064-1.jpg

Disney2009187.jpg

This one I took myself! :cool1:
Animal kingdom was decorated very neat for Christmas. I enjoy so many of the decorations. First thing we head for is Everest. We wanted to get a FP to ride, so that way we could ride again at night. The wait time to come back was 4:50-5:50pm. So after we succeed at getting our FP's, I tortured my children for an hour and 10 minutes at Camp Mickey and Minnie. Yes, we walked all the way back to the begin of the park for photos.
Disney2009189.jpg

I made then get a photopass picture with everyone. I was so happy they were still dressed in their Christmas gear. All the characters have their own trees decorated at the begin of the lines to go see them. I loved all of them. I made DD get a picture in front of every tree. Donald’s was my favorite.
Disney2009190.jpg

Disney2009191.jpg

Minnie’s was very cute too, and butterflies kept flying around it, because of the yellow and red. BUTTERFLIES IN JAN. I am so moving to Flordia.:goodvibes Camp M&M was so great this time of year. I love the Mickey Christmas music they were playing here. The lines were very long to wait for the characters. We would get put of one and get in a new one, right behind the same people each time. It was funny. Some other characters came around this area too. I would make DH and the kids get out of line to get there picture taken with them, will I waited in line.
Disney2009192-1.jpg

Ok when this bear came out I said "hurry and get in line".
The kids were like we don’t even know who that is Mom. I said yes you do it is the bear from that bear movie. Both of them were like what bear movie? I said you know that bear movie, we did not get to the movies in time to see. I then turn to DD I said we watched it on the bus coming home from Washington D.C with Girl Scouts. She is like I have no idea what you are talking about. Yes you do, when we want to D.C for the Girl Scout sing along. You know the bear move. I could not remember what it was called. DH made them go anyway. I could tell they were making fun of me standing over there in line. When they came back, they were like ok Mom we got the picture with the bear from some make believe in your head movie. The movie is Brother Bear, I say. Ok, Mom if you say so. I later found something in the park with Brother bear on it, and ask the CM and she said "yes that is the name of the movie." KIDS!
Disney2009193.jpg

Disney2009194-1.jpg

DH of course had to go get a FP's for rapids will when we got in line for Mickey. I was so afraid he was not making it back in time. He did in plenty of time. We watched Mickey's come and go...for cheese of course. Then it was our turn. I found that this photo pass CM was not so great if you were not a family with small children. Maybe he thought guest without small children don't buy the pictures etc. I don’t know, but I had to ask him to take a photo with my whole family in it. I have heard that they are not employed by WDW. Maybe DISNEYJO could inform me on the truths of that.
But I think everyone should get the same photo opportunities.I am sure Disney wants that for everyone too!
I was not thrilled with the pics anyway but...:confused3
Here are a few we had taken that day at Camp Mickey and Minnie.

So after spending the day at Camp Mickey and Minnie, :rotfl2: we headed over and got a FP for Dinosaur. The line to get a FP for dinosaur was very long. It looked like they were giving away something. I should have taken a picture of it. DH and DS went and waited in line, and DD and I took a seat near the big dinosaur. It took forever it seemed like for them to get the FP’s. People kept thinking it was the line to get on the ride, which is how long it was of a line. DH said a machine broke down. At this point I have in my possession three FP’s for three different rides.
Disney2009214.jpg

Disney2009213.jpg

We actually could have had four FP’s, if the safari did not close down early today. We then decide that we should just ride dinosaur since the wait time was 30 minutes. So we get in line. The wait was a bit long, maybe a little more then what it stated. One thing I do not like about the waiting area for this ride is, when you go thought the door you can never stay with your party. We had some rude people running over us to get through the door first, and poor DD was pushed and stepped on. Here is the picture! (RED NECK OF COURSE)
Disney2009216.jpg

After riding dino we heading over and rode it’s tough to be a bug. We waited in the longest line we have ever waited to get inside. It was nice because we got to see so much more of the tree, which we have never noticed before.
Disney2009196.jpg

Disney2009198-2.jpg

Disney2009199.jpg

DH took this picture of the kids and me before going inside.
Disney2009200-1.jpg

After we came out from bug’s life, we noticed it was getting close to parade time, and I wanted to make sure we got a great spot to see the parade. We sat right on the bridge up from the bazaar shop.
Disney2009201.jpg

It was rope off already, which was nice. DD and I left DH and DS of course and want and looked in the store. I bought a Christmas ornament. Which I meant to take a picture of before I put the Christmas stuff away. LOL But it was glass Mickey years. I was going to pay to get the year put on it. But after I saw what the lady was doing, I thought I can do that at home. She was just using a shiny marker, which I have many of at home. All the ornaments were on sale, as was so much more. I saw mugs that day for 50% off and I wished I grabbed a couple up that day. I also bought a bag of chocolate popcorn and jelly beans for us to eat will watching the parade. The CM asked if I would like to have the items sent back to my resort, so I had the Mickey ears sent back, so I would not have to put it in the back pack.

We sat eating our popcorn and jelly beans for lunch. :rotfl2: and waited about 40 minutes for the parade to come by us. No one was hungry enough for lunch and we though we just eat an early dinner. We could see it from the bridge on the other bridge. Then finally we hear it coming our way. YEAH!
Disney2009202.jpg

Disney2009177.jpg

Disney2009209.jpg

It was a great parade. You really can smell hot chocolate coming from Minnie’s float.
I love the stockings on Goofy’s float.
Disney2009206.jpg

Disney2009205.jpg

Disney2009203-1.jpg

Disney2009210-1.jpg

After the parade it was our FP time for the river rapids. I was not to thrilled that I was going to get wet and it late in the day. I did have a poncho’s to put on.
DD and I both put a poncho on. We walked right on to this ride with a FP. But of course we did it is January who wants to get wet. DH and DS start to worry about begin wet the rest of the night. DH says I beat that they turn it down some in the winter. Turn it down? Yes you know you don’t get as wet. We get on with a family who has never rode before the little boy is so excited to be getting wet. Little kids they are so funny. We all pray that he gets the wet with all the water.
Well they either do turn it down in the winter or we just did not get as wet as we thought we did the last time we rode the rapids. The one at Hershey Park soaks you from head to toe. The little boy did get wet. I am sure not enough for liking. DD and I were dry, thanks to our $1 ponchos from target. DH and DS were a little wet. So anyone know do they turn it down in the winter?
image068-1.jpg

Disney2009222-1.jpg

So off to ride Everest we go. This was DH first time ever riding Everest. He had promise me on our last trip, that NEXT TIME he would ride Everest. So I have been waiting for this day.
Disney2009224.jpg

HE DID IT! As you see the WOO HOO came out again. The children behind us are not are children. I feel sorry for them. They are most likely saying who is the crazy guy? :scared1: Here are our children, like Father like son.
Disney2009225.jpg

DH enjoyed his first Everest ride. :yay: So after we are wide awake from riding Everest, we go and get on Dino again with our FP's from earlier in the day. DH has this thing were he tries or sometimes succeed at scary one of will riding dinosaur. Well on the first picture he did not succeed, this one as always DS fell for it.
Disney2009230.jpg

We then headed over to Pizzafari for dinner. Once again no picks, sorry I was very hungry.:rolleyes1 DH got pizza, DS got chicken parmesan Sandwich, and DD and both got the kids meal pizza's. We shared a Caesar salad with chicken. We like to eat here, the food is good and the place is neat. No one was in here but one other family. I figured most guest left the park for the day. It was a nice dinner. After we ate dinner we shopped around in the stores. DD found a pin she wanted to buy for her BBF. We then got in line to see the FOTLK. We waited outside the doors for about 15 minutes. I would say about fifty people where at the show. It was a bit strange. A CM we were speaking to, said they have down a shoe for a family of four before. I could not believe that. Can you imagine? I thought for sure DS was going to get picked to help warm up the guest, since I saw the CM eye his birthday button. But of course they picked some HOT lady. You all know what I am talking about . :snooty: You could see all the rest of the women rolling their eyes, as the husband are watching this lady show us how to do the hand jive.
As always it was a great show. It amazes me ever time, how they put this on in such a small area. We leave the FOTLK, and head over to Dinoland.
DD and DS and I rode Primeval Whirl. I am not to big of a fan of this ride. I don’t like those jerky mouse roller coasters. DD had never rode it before, and she was not to thrilled with it either. The three of them tried to convince DH to ride Everest with us again in the dark. The purpose for coming to AK today was that they were open late, and we could ride Everest in the dark. DH would not do it. I think one time a trip is all we are getting out of him. So the three of rode again, and I tell you it was great in the dark. When you go up to the top you can see so much of the world. I love it. So after we get off and Dh takes the wrong picture of us on the ride. A lady hands DS and DD four FP’s for Everest. She said they had already rode it and were not up to again. So I told DD and DS to go ahead and ride it again twice each. I did not want to leave DH all by himself sitting on a bench like he has done in the past.
After that it was time to head out of AK. We stopped at the picture place on the way out to look at our photopass pictures. I wanted to pick out my free 5X7, so I would not forget. The Cm could tell from my face that I was not impressed with the pictures. It was getting late so I picked the one and we left. The tree was lit up when we left. DH wanted to get picture sin front of it lit, but I was not up to waiting inline. I had already seen enough bad photos for one day. I did not want to take another one for the collection.
Disney2009231.jpg

The buses here at AK were waiting to take us home. But are bus wasn’t, but here it comes!
Disney2009181.jpg

We arrived back to our POFQ resort tired and ready for a good nights rest. We had a few surprises waiting for us in our room.First DS received a signed card from Mickey Mouse. I added the pixie dust and unwrap the magic bag later after he feel asleep, as a surprise for his birthday tomorrow.
Disney2009236.jpg

We also found these too!

Tommorow we head to MGM for DS birthday!

I can never get them to resize correctly after uploading them. So I now make sure that I have it set to the size I want before I upload.

Great pics BTW! :thumbsup2

I have to try that. I am thinking it is just me!
Thanks for reading!

Anyone know of a different site to upload photos to?
I was hoping to post my next day, but photobucket is stil giving me problems.

My tip for photobucket is this:

Resize them to what you want on photobucket. Then leave it alone. Sometimes (for some odd reason), it seems the pictures don't immediately show up the correct size when you post them. But, if you check back later - they're usually fine. That's how it works for me anyway!

Sounds like AK was busy that day! Great parade pictures. :thumbsup2

I don't think they "turn the water down" for KRR in the winter. :rotfl: It just completely depends on what seat you're sitting in and how the raft is turned when it hits the big splash parts. :thumbsup2

Yeah I'm all caught up!! What a great report so far!! I'm loving it!! One of these days I'm going to ride EE at dark I just know it LOL!!!!

Can't wait to see what surprises are in store for your DS's birthday!! Once again great stuff!! I'm really enjoying this TR!

Thanks, I notice that on one of the pictures. But the others I played with too much I am sure :lmao: I know. Have you ever been to Hershey Park, there rapids drench you.

Hi, It was so neat to ride it in the dark. Thanks for stopping in and reading!

GOOD Morning NO sleeping! Happy Birthday day to you! :cake: I feel so bad that it is 7am and DS has to get up early on his birthday. But we are in DISNEY! I made DH his coffee and got dressed and walked up to the resort for some Hot water to make me a cup of tea. I grabbed some needed sugar, and bought some milk. The sun coming up at the river was an amazing view. Tinker bell left DS a surprise. Ok, Mom whatever! She had left him a gift card to buy candy in WDW.Everyone got dressed and ready, and DH said lets grab some breakfast at DHS. So we head to the bus stop around 8:15am. DH wanted me to see the opening at DHS.As always that DHS bus was the first to arrive. The lines at DHS to get into the park were very long. The confirmation letter for the birthday celebration, said you had to go to guest relations. So we made our way through the crowds of people to guest relations.
Disney2009239.jpg

Waited in line and then were told that we needed to go to will call. I am not happy about this; since we just excuse me excuse me a million times to get to this side. So though the crowds again we go to will call. I showed the print out form and ID.We tell her that we already have admission tickets to the park, and ask about the FP’s. We want with the gift card as I thought we would. The FP you choice between two different sections and pick two rides from each section for the FP. The sections were broke down funny. We were informed that the gift card does not expire like it previous stated. I was glad for that!
scan0002-3.jpg

We then go back into the crowds and try to get a view of the opening ceremonies. We can hear it, but can not see anything. We tried walking through the stores on the left hand side, only to found people waiting standing room only through the stores. So back on to the street we go.
Lights camera action :yay:
image106.jpg

DH heads to RNRC to get some FP’s first. We looked in starring rolls bakery but they did not have anything for us to eat for breakfast. They only had bagels with seeds and danishs. We walked over to the CBS commissary. They had egg and cheese on bagels. So we bought four of them and four orange juices. The cost for breakfast, over forty dollars. DH was like boy that was high. I said we should have just grabbed something at the resort. The bagels were very dry, and the egg and cheese was a tad warm. They would have been good, had they been micro waved a little. Will DH was busy looking at the map, and planning out the attack, I headed to the ladies room and saw this. Samantha Who? This is one of my favorite shows. So after I used the ladies room I want and got the camera to take a picture of it.
Disney2009241.jpg

Off to toy story we go. We were unable to get a FP for Toy story since we already had one for RNRC.
Disney2009242.jpg

Disney2009244.jpg

So we waited in line even thought it said 120 minutes.
WOW I absolute love the waiting area for TSM. They really did a wonderful job. I looked for hidden Mickey’s but did not found even one. We ended up only waiting about 40 minutes. They really had the wait time wrong. It was great and I wished we could have walked right back on to ride it again.
Disney2009247.jpg

We got on the great movie ride and watched the little mermaid. We then headed over to star tours. I used to love this ride, anymore it is nothing. After star tours we caught lights motor action. A waste of time for me. Don’t get me wrong I like cars. I am a woman who checks out cars, and has been known in her YOUNGER :car: days to race a few. But if you seen this once, there is no reason to see it again. It is over crowed and you are like sardines sitting on the bleachers, and it takes forever to get in and forever to get out. And heaven forbid if you have to go to the bathroom like DH and I did. We found a spot left the kids and want down to use the bathroom. Came back and some man is telling my kids you can not save seats.
Disney2009254.jpg

Disney2009259.jpg

After that it was our FP time for RNRC. We left DH out front. The line was very long for stand by, but we walked all the way up to the doors to go in to meet the band. It was great. Got to love FP’s when they work like that. I later found out that night that DH had got a FP for himself to ride, if he was up to it. He said sorry I did not tell you, but I chicken out. Next trip he says.
I really dont think he could handle RNRC!

DD had to use the bathroom, and DS wanted to go buy some candy with his gift cards. We took a seat on a bench on Hollywood Boulevard. I was hungry for ice cream, so DD and DS and I got some ice cream. I got a chocolate cover banana. So yummy. DH complained how we were going to get sick eating before TOT. :rotfl2: We laughed at him. We sat on a people watching till we were done our snacking. We then go get in line for tower of terror. The wait was about 20 minutes.
Disney2009264.jpg

No one got sick. We noticed the time and I wanted to get some of these MAGIC pictures I have seen. So I found a photo pass CM, who was not happy when I asked him about taking one. He complained that the park was too busy today for magic pictures. But he was just standing around when I asked him. I told him I wanted to get Mickey sitting with us on the bench, instead we got this.
image107.jpg

I like the picture, so I guess I should not complain. After that we headed over and waited to get into The Magic of Disney Animation. We have never waited here to get in outside. Today was different; I did not even think we were in the right spot. :confused3 The poor CM doing the show must have had a stroke, and you could not understand a thing she was saying. You could tell everyone was emphasizing with her in the room. But you could not understand her at all. I really felt awkward. I really think she needs to be given a different position at DHS. We decide to come back for the drawing part later tonight, since DHS was open late for EMH.
After that we want and got in line to see Mickey. I have to say that this was the greatest Mickey I have ever seen. Her/his interaction with a Down syndrome child brought tears to every person inline. :sad1: But also her interaction with just everyone was wonderful. I made DH and the kids go get in line and have their picture taken with Bolt. I waited in the long line for Mickey. My funny children brought back the camera saying here is this good enough?
Disney2009250.jpg

They took that waiting in line. We waited about an hour for both pictures.
Disney2009269.jpg

image118.jpg

image120.jpg

I was told the cat harassed my DS a lot. After that we did back lot tour, since it was closing early tonight at 5:30pm. I am bored with this ride too. Sorry just think it is time for something new in it's place. We got lucky and caught Mader and McQueen in their new spot. It is where Buzz and Woody use to be.I made the kids get their picture taken against their will. Can’t you tell?
image098.jpg

:fish: We then left DHS to catch a bus to Epcot for our ADR at the Coral Reef.
Many people were at the bus stop. A bus finally came 20 minutes later. I was hoping we could get ther a bit early, but it looks like we might be late.

We got there just on time for our reservations. We checked in to the Coral Reef and were given a buzzer. DH and the kids want outside to look at the menu. I had already warned them, that there were not too many choices they would like to eat. Buzzer want of within minutes of me holding it.
Disney2009271.jpg

We were seated at the top of the room were you first enter. I was hoping for a better seat, near the aquarium. But it was still nice.DS and DD really like the divers. There were many in the tank on our visit.
Disney2009273.jpg

Disney2009274.jpg

Our waited was very nice. I asked if DD could eat off the children menu and he said sure. DH and DS both ordered grilled NY strip steak; DD had celery and carrot sticks, grilled chicken breast, and fruit cup off the kids menu. I had the creamy lobster soup and a mixed green salad. Yes, and I remembered to finally take some pictures for you all. I thought my choices were very good. The soup only had a small trace of lobster, but it was still very tasty. DD cleaned her plate. DH said the steak was ok. DS had no opinion, as he said it was steak and he is not a big fan of steak to begin with.
Disney2009278.jpg

My Dinner
Disney2009279.jpg

DD dinner
Disney2009280.jpg

DH and DS dinner
Disney2009276.jpg

I would like my pool to have these around them! The mosaic is so pretty.
After we were finished dinner, I was hoping the cake would come out that I ordered, since our server asked us if we would be having dessert. I looked at DH and with a scared look. He said don’t worry I saw on the slip he had it state “ birthday”. :cake: So about ten minutes later here he came behind DS and I started taping the aquarium with the camera so I would not be so obvious. The server had everyone singing happy birthday. DS was so embarrassed.
Disney2009282.jpg

Disney2009283.jpg

The cake was ok. A bit dry and even a small cake was still too much for the four of us. Our server did wrap it up for us to take. DS had plans to eat it, but on our last night I threw it away. So after our tummies were filled and I mean filled. We wobbled our way to the bus stop to catch the bus back to POFQ, to get our jackets for the night. I enjoyed the coral reef and would go back. I thought it was a very nice place. DS and DD both liked it. DH well he said it was a nice place but the steak was awful, and the price was very high.

I have to finish up tomorrow. DH and I are going out to dinner!
Happy Valentines Day!:rose:
