It's hard for me to follow the different day posts, so I'll just post what I can in one and feel free to ask questions.
Used Your Ride, with success. Our experience is posted on the Transporation board.
Weather was hot and humid most days. Some days were a little cooler, but it was mostly like July weather in the Midwest the entire time we were there.
Stayed at CBR in Jamacia, building 43, which was a GREAT location! Very close to everything and very quiet. Lots of mold in the room. We stuck it out and didn't complain about it, but it could be a problem for some. We were usually the first stop in the morning and in the evening. Didn't have any problems with bus transporation. No towel animals, but did notice that some people got them, as they put them up for display in their window. Animals weren't arranged in any special way either, and one day the only housekeeping we had was a clean, made bed with clean towels laying on the bed. Pretty average housekeeping.
Had a wonderful time at MNSSHP! Didn't think too much of the fireworks, and didn't see the witch, as we were behind the castle by the Tinkerbell shop. Saw the Headless Horseman ride through. That was neat! Spooky music played in Liberty Square which added to the fun, and until late in the evening, walked on most rides. Had to wait as the evening wore on. Ate at the Crystal Palace and had Vinnie for a server. He was wonderful and the food was beyond wonderful!!!!!! Best meal we had the whole week there!
Prime Time Cafe wasn't as much fun as I'd hoped. Server was VERY low key, unlike some of the others in there and the food wasn't as good. Brown Derby was beyond expensive, but great atmosphere. Chef Mickey's was good and because we did this on our last morning, a nice send off. Had CRT, and the food was okay. They brought out more if you asked. The princesses seemed rushed, but there are a lot of people to meet. Huge line to meet the Fairy Godmother as we were leaving.
Crowds were pretty thin, as we walked on or only had 5 to 10 minute waits. But as the week wore on and especially the night of 10/9, when Epcot closed early and Wishes was being introduced, MK was PACKED!!!! Almost had a stampede trying to get out of the park, which was quite frightening with our little ones!
Noticed that cast members weren't overly friendly. People who'd been to WDW before said they'd noticed this as well, and thought it was because of the crowds.
Wishes was BEAUTIFUL!!!! Philharmagic was WONDERFUL!!!! Mission Space did make me sick, dispite the Dramamine, but I think it was because I had a sinus headache that day. Plus, it's a LONG walk from the simulator out of that ride, and I'm not kidding when I say it's LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, any questions, just ask. We had a good time.
