Chris and I are definitely ready for this vacation!
Since it is just the 2 of us, its going to be great to recognize friendly faces on the ship. Can't wait until the DIS Meet.
We are pretty much all ready to go. I'm going to finalize my packing tomorrow. I got my pirate costume in the mail yesterday so I'm a ll set.

To bad DCL doesn't allow dogs...I would have loved to meet Katie at the DIS meet. It almost feels like she's one of the group! She's got a set of ears pretty near as good as Mickey's

We haven't posted much on here but we have been reading along. Looking forward to meeting everyone. We have started getting things organized and it will most likely be a busy week. But we are all very much looking forward to vacation and it will be great to finally go! Seems like we've had this cruise booked forever.

Thanks again to Denise for organizing the list. Our thoughts are with everyone undergoing medical procedures and other issues.

OK We haven't had gas in Georgia in a week, so I am online looking for a gas station that my car has enough gas to reach so I can fill up! Bizarre situation we are in. Do you think w can go ahead and call it a recession? High unemployment, gas crisis, banks failing. i know our current administration hates to call it that, but it smells that way to me.
I am glad everyone else is prepared. I'll get there. Folding and finishing laundry as we speak.

Hello for the Ho-Jo (I can park here in a lot on site, not bad) by the Detroit airport. We fly at 12:15 so guess that means 4 hours. No more work!!!! Yippee. Ended up working almost half a day yesterday. We went and watched Drew play soccer, took him to dinner and I had to make that last minute Wal-Mart stop (socks of all things) and we headed to Detroit.

It was a hard drive - we took 2 vehicles so Drew could go home (and no, I don't feel bad that he home with dirty laundry and I am going to WDW) for homecoming. I kept thinking did I pack X, did I pack Y, but it all appears (even the socks) OK. I did forget David's sandals but oh well, he will survive.

Just a quick check in to see haow eveyone is doing. Off to finish laundry and have to get every one packed today. Will be a crazy week at work. We leave in 6 days and cant wait to meet all of you. MIndi- It was great to already meet you, cant wait to meet your kids and DH. Have to get going DS13 has a baseball game in a few hours. Have a great day and I will try to check in later.

We are getting ready here in Maryland and we can't wait.
I had DCL print us some docs so that Geneva could feel like it was real. They were only luggage tags but it made her happy. I think she attacked the UPS guy, lol.
Our dog Bonz is loving it at doggie daycare so I feel bettter about leaving him.
Ashley and I have had bad colds, glad we had them before our cruise.

I'm off to work, I work 6 days a weeks that's why I haven't had much time to post here since my return in July. I been lurking thou.

What is about socks? Every time we go on a trip, it seems I'm buying socks for someone. What is happening to all those socks? lol Even this morning my DS Jake yelled from his bedroom, "don't forget to buy me socks for the cruise!" Didn't I just buy him socks for a church camp he went to this summer?

I have actually brought all my luggage upstairs and have officially started packing. Gail, thanks for the reminder about the sandals, lol.

I have not packed a thing, printed a thing, made my fish extender, or printed a magnet. My life has crazy got in the way! I am usually phenomenal under the gun, but this will be a true test.
Anyway looking forward to seeing the gang. I'll be the broad collapsed in the deck chair with some kind of lethal concoction in my hand, annoyed that I do this to myself every time.
This was my social service to the group, so you can say "Well at least I am not that disorganized chick!!!" (Insert snide tone here). Toodles as my work is cut out for me!

Funny, I was thinking the same thing this morning, woke up and DS said "mommy it's only 5 sleeps till we fly out on Thursday!"
Save me a space beside you at the pool!!!!

Denise (mommaluvsdis) thanks from us for putting the FE list together! IF I ever get married, will give you a call, you are MUCH more organized than I!!

Other Denise (deego), got you something "special" last night, don't worry it didn't cost much, figured I got one for me, should get one for you!
Can't wait to meet you and for a safe trip and no delays!

Everyone else, really can't wait to meet y'all (is that right?)... have to get to laundry now and maybe start packing!

Hello everyone!
I know I haven't posted much, but I am sooooo ready for this trip. Not that I am at all prepared, but I am ready. I can't believe there will be 7 days of no cooking, cleaning, laundry, taxi-ing kids, work, etc. nothing but relaxing. I haven't packed a thing yet and this weekend is full of scooer for one girl and homecoming for the other. Guess I'll just have to cross my fingers that I can do it in a day. I do have the important things done like the FE, the FE gifts and the magnets! lol

Hopefully everyone will have a healthy week so we can enjoy our time on the Magic!

It's going to be strange after vacation to not have this forum to read everyone's plans and excitement in looking forward to the cruise.

I'm in your club! I bought a new printer last night because mine is the pits, and I can't print magnets on a bad printer! I have a huge pile of odds and ins in my closet, but nothing really packed. I also got the stuff to finish up my FE gifts last night. I will be working on those while Wynn is at work tonight. Going now to get the car inspected and the oil changed, then to buy fabric for the FE.

Well, if it had to happen, I'm glad it was this week and not next. DS10 has strep. He was able to play football today, thankfully. Now to keep the rest of us from catching it!!! He usually gets it twice a year. He will complain that his throat is hurting. He never complains. The doctor did the quick test and it came back negative. The next day I get a call around lunch time and the long test came back positive.

I'm off to take DS10 to a birthday party and then to do last minute shopping. I will probably be buying socks as well. What is it about vacations and having to buy socks and other personal items?

We are sick here, too. Wynn has a cold, and it is settling in his chest. Tucker was puking last night (although I think it was from eating too much ravioli.) Gotta love all this stress!

Avery told me this AM that she dreamed about the cruise last night. She dreamed what she thought the kids club would look like. Tucker dreamed the other day that the Magic was a glass bottom boat, and you could go to the 1st floor to see down into the ocean!

At this time there will be no more additions to the FE list of any kind. Please understand that we have to pack and travel and will not be monitoring the computer as closely as before.
