Just popping in to say that I survived my surgery and am home resting. I don't feel great, I am not going to lie, but vicadin is a very good thing! I will check in again when I have my wits about me.

Wait - NINE DAYS??? I hope that everyone has a great week next week. I will report from OKW on Saturday. And, if my progress continues, I will have spare time tomorrow as well. I can't beleive that tonight is the last night in our bed at home before the adventure begins.

Gail, thanks for the info on the laundry. I was trying to find the info online at school today, but then my students came back from related arts and i had to teach the little darlings how to multiply/divide integers.

Good to hear from you Lauren! I'll keep praying for a quick recovery.

My doctor's report was pretty positive. I'm taking BC pills for a month to see if the cyst shrinks (meaning it's hormone related). I will be scanned again on Oct. 30. They also took some blood to do a cancer screening just in case.

My ticker says 6 days, nineteen hours, eleven minutes!

Jacquelyn, you are lucky. I have 4 more days of work. Next week cannot get here quick enough.

DS10 went to the dr today with a sore throat. He is prone to strep. The quick strep test came back negative. Thankfully it is allergies. All I need is for him to come down sick. I've got to have my grades posted before I leave next Wednesday. I've got too much going on between now and Wednesday.

One week from this moment, I will be at DTD shopping and relaxing. I CAN'T WAIT .

Sorry, can't tell you till we are ON the cruise as to what my gifts are...
I hope you get to the ship on time, Im sure it will be fine. The line ups at the port are your worst enemy, last year we lined up for what seemed like forever to get on the Disney Bus to take us to the Port. Or maybe it just felt like forever cause we were so excited to go!

I just told my mom we won't be voting, she didn't seem that worried. Oh well, one less vote for the Green Party....

It's gonna be so cool being neighbors, I still can't get over that. Of all the places to get upgraded to. next to fellow Canadians! YAH

I just sincerely hope they clean that Goofy Pool..... ewww....



Get your baby better..... can't be sick on a Cruise, not fun!!!

I am sure things will be fine...but you can't help but worry. I guess waiting in line isn't as bad as a cancelled flight...

I agree...the neighbour thing is pretty great...I really truly can't wait!!!!

...I am starting to lose sleep...the crazy dreams are getting worse. I really have a hard time getting my mind to shut down at night...all I can think about is packing!!!!

I really can't imagine the pool still being like that when we arrive...I am sure it will be leaps and bounds better...or my girls I am sure will have a complaint or too for them!!! LOL

My DD is feeling better...she just had an upset belly but seems to be OK. I am crossing my fingers!!!!!

I got my order in from the Disney store yesterday and couldn't get my daughter out of her Mermaid costume. She loved it. Well she loved everything I got her except the Disney logo shirt that I needed for her to complete our sets. Since it didn't have a Mermaid or a Princess on it she said we didn't need to pack it!

Kim, it was nice to meet you yesterday. I could never keep a secret from my kids that long! I would just be too excited. I think it is very cool.

One more week until we leave for Florida and I am so excited! I get this fluttery feeling in my stomach just thinking about it. I'm done with my packing. This weekend, I'll pack for dh and dd. I know this will be the most amazing birthday! I'm turning 30 and I get to be on the Disney Cruise! Fabulous!
In other news my baby girl is almost crawling! She creeps along the floor and I can see her mind trying to figure out how to crawl! Out of everything I have ever accomplished in my life, I am most satisfied with Motherhood. Everyday exceeds my expectations and I feel amazing! It is something that I KNOW I am meant to do. I am so ready for another baby.Maybe I'll bring home the ultimate souvenir from the cruise! If we were Hollywood types we could name our new baby Magic or Castaway!

Very cool. That means you have a week or 2 to get everything locked up tight! They go straight from crawling to mischief.

OK... looking for some suggestions for Sat after we get off the ship. We had originally planned to go to KSC. But, with the launch just days away, I am thinking that there will be a lot of it closed to the public. Anyone know? I thought about Universal, but it is $500 for hotel and park tickets for 2 days. I am also considering Aquatica, but I am afraid we may be done with water activities. What else is there to see/do?
