Just finished painting the wall - I started this morning at 10.45ish and just finished...theres just one problem - I dont like it

Looks a totally different colour to what I expected. Maybe it will look better once it dries but it looks too much like the colour I painted the kitchen.

Back to the paint shop I go

I went in and worked for a few hours this morning.

Now, the three of us are heading off to the eye docs, it's time for our 2 year check-up, then we will be going out to eat. Maybe I'll find that chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream I was talking about yesterday.........

Afternoon/evening everyone! Just taking a little break to see what everyone is up to.

Karen it sounds like you are having oh so much fun! I hate to paint. Woody hates it more so I get stuck with it.

Andy and Fam I hope everything went well with the eye doc today and I hope you had a nice lunch.

Bendy started a new book today-Court Lady and Country Wife by Lita-Rose Betcherman. It's about Lucy and Dorothy Percy later know was Lucy, the Countess of Carlisle and Dorothy, Countess of Leicester. Dorothy was an early ancestor of Princess Diana's family. I'll let you know how it is. Pretty good so far. I know some of the history behind them so it makes it easier to follow.

I change my mind all the time Karen. I swear my living room is 3 inches smaller than it was when we bought it 7 years ago.

Then you would love our house! It as build in the 1940's and we have plaster walls with years of wallpaper and paint on them! Our kitchen cabinets alone had 6 layers of oil based paint! It has been a nightmare trying to strip them and refinish them!

Andy and Fam I hope everything went well with the eye doc today and I hope you had a nice lunch.

All went well, all three of us ordered new glasses, Angelina doesn't use her very much because she wears contacts, but since my health insurance pays for them, we thought it was a good idea to get her a new pair anyhow.

Had a nice lunch at Friendly's and all three of us had a Mint Chocolate Chip Sundae to top off the meal.

Now, it's time to head to the dentist as Angelina needs to have two cavities filled.

Well it must be a night of headaches for both of us Andy. Devin just announced that he is thinking of quitting school and joining the Army. I have nothing against the military, but as a mother and the way the world is right now I'm freaking out a little, well a lot. In fact I am crying while posting this. OK Paige where are you, I need you to tell me it isn't as bad as I am thinking.

This sounds like something my dad would have done. Take us for icecream and then to see the dentist! My cousin, the dentist, would LOVE it! He thinks everyone should enjoy sweets and soda! It's going to put his kids through college!

P.S. Mint Choco chip is my all time favorite flavor! Bryers make a wonderful low fat version! I feel that the low fat cancels out itself. That way I can have twice as much!

Howdy do dog! I would love to be in Florida right now. If all goes well with Woody and the new job we will not be able to go in June. But that's ok. He said we could double up on our cruise trip next October! A week at WDW and then cruise.

I'm feeling much better now. I decided to crack open a tin of paint and get painting - I've cut in the feature wall in the lounge - been round it twice - just got to let it dry so I can start rollering.... Neil went out this morning and her had a cream room - he'll have a mellow sage green wall when he gets back - I wonder if he'll notice

anyone else get the feeling that our miss mouse is addicted to paint fumes.

You laugh! We had a video of Woody dancing around the kitchen with Shadow when he was a pup singing it to him. He loves to be sung to. The dog that is! Woody- not so much.
