I wish I could say something to make you feel better. Since I can't, just accept this cyber-hug because you need one right now.

Well it must be a night of headaches for both of us Andy. Devin just announced that he is thinking of quitting school and joining the Army. I have nothing against the military, but as a mother and the way the world is right now I'm freaking out a little, well a lot. In fact I am crying while posting this. OK Paige where are you, I need you to tell me it isn't as bad as I am thinking.

I don't have any words of wisdom, but as a mom, I can understand your worries. And mine's only 5!

Big hugs to you - I can totally understand and mines only 7.

Well, today started off well.......

Ellis' things and uniform were ready, packed lunch made, everything sorted....got him ready on time.........gym bag packed and in the car to zoom straight off........

Set out to school...........eerie silence:confused3 - no other kids about........I start questioning myself - is it Sunday?:confused3 Am I a day early?:confused3

Get to the gates to find someone there turning people away - the school is flooded:sad:

I see my sanity slipping quickly away at the thought of yet another day trying to occupy a bored 7 year old:sad2: ...god knows how long its going to be shut, all I know is that english workmen are not what you might call speedy:rolleyes:

Ellis is miserable and disappointed because we were due to have one of his new friends round after school and we cant now...

Ok,... list of jobs as long as my arm of things I intended doing once he was in school - gotta do some of them anyway:rolleyes:

Off to the supermarket :sad2: - its not a good place for Ellis - his boredom threshold is about 5 minutes - we were in there ages.... by the time we got to the till he was driving me crazy. Next stop - DIY Centre - paint for lounge... have you ever tried to carry 3 large and very heavy tins when you only have 2 hands? - its not easy:rolleyes: - nearly dropped 5litres of paint on the way to the car but I managed to put it down (in the middle of the exit road:rolleyes1 ) before it slipped. I've just got home - Ellis is in front of the tv (bad mother alert:rolleyes1 ) while I wrestle with 20 bags of groceries:rolleyes:

Moan over - sorry!:goodvibes

Becky, let's share some of these    together. My concerns don't seem so big now, but when we are going THROUGH it, they sure do seem mighty LARGE. You will be in my thoughts and prayers, as will your son!!!

Oh yea, my mom, I only feel like shipping her off to the SOUTH POLE!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Karen--sounds like you could use a few    today as well!!!

Oh Yea, "GOOD MORNING/AFTERNOON EVERYONE!!!"

I'd gladly exchange days with you Karen.:cutie: I get to go to a job I hate.:headache: Enough said??

Hi everyone....

Sorry for being so down in the dumps yesterday - this winter with its ups and downs has really got me frazzled. But, after a long, comforting talk with my mommy :lovestruc and well wishes from my DISbuddies, I'm in a better state of mind.

No more water in the basement overnight, which is good, so back to taking it one day at a time!

I'm feeling much better now. I decided to crack open a tin of paint and get painting - I've cut in the feature wall in the lounge - been round it twice - just got to let it dry so I can start rollering.... Neil went out this morning and her had a cream room:rolleyes1 - he'll have a mellow sage green wall when he gets back - I wonder if he'll notice:lmao:
