Hello, everyone. I see we're getting our emails again. I just got off a long stretch of days at work. The latest for the Joseph's is that my sister just told me that she and her two boys want to join the cruise as well. She'll probably be laying down her deposit in March.

Hey, I just noticed the ship in the countdown clicker has nearly covered over the letter "R" in the word RUM on the bottle!!!

I also found out that each package that is sent to the DCL House Parties is going to have 10 goodie bags, and one of the items for the goodie bag is a $50.00 onboard credit voucher. I'm hoping to be lucky enough to receive one of those vouchers during our party on 1-26-08. At last count the party I signed up or has over 40 guests invited, looks like we are going to have a great time at our party!!!

I say get to the party early and rummage through all the bags while Hazel keeps the host busy.

I've been talking with my AAA TA about the OBC that Dreams is offering for the 09 cruises. She wants to go to bat for me and get me one through AAA. I spoke with her and DCL last week on a conference call and it looks like DCL gives AAA the ok to issue OBC's. (Here I thought it was a gift from AAA instead).

So, here's our dilemma. I need to find someone who has proof positive (in writing from Dreams) that they received an OBC for the BOB cruise. Can anyone help me with this request?

My TA did see the advertising on the main page of the DISboards, but actually needs to see that someone did indeed get the credit on their account.

Anyone willing to help us get another OBC?

You know... I'll bet that I can get her online. At least as much as she can. Her company keeps her pretty busy flying from here to Texas all the time. But she's much like me and likes to socialize a bit.

So far so good. The wind was the craziest thing. It really tore things up. Otherwise, we were very dry for a long time so the ground soaked up all of that rain in a hurry. If the rain keeps going like the predict, I can see some problems up ahead with flooding along the river. We're too high to be really worried about that. And most of the housing that sits along the river has been protected since the last flood.

So how many of us have booked with Dreams?? Perhaps we can get the group deal? I wonder if they do that anymore? It used to be if they booked more than 8 cabins they would send you a stateroom gift.

I haven't heard anything about it recently, they probably stopped doing it.

They are very comfortable, I have the black ones. Word of caution you may need to get a size smaller. I ordered a pair in a size smaller than I normally wear and they fit fine.

Glad to see you're ok Steve, I am assuming you had all of you Christmas lights down before this came through. We may get a little rain here or there today but nothing like yesterday. I kept saying to my boss, "Do you think this is what a hurrican looks like?". It was crazy yesterday.

My brother called about 5:30 last night and said they had been without power since 6:15am. He said it looked like a lightening storm going through with all the transformers burstin, he saw at least 6 of them blow. Then he called about a 1/2 hour later saying my SIL had driven through a puddle and the car had stalled. She's fine, they towed the car to her brothers house, who happens to be a mechanic, and he got everything started back. They were both a little panicked though, since they had been diverting traffic and she didn't know where she was. Thank god for cell phones

Glad to see you're ok Steve, I am assuming you had all of you Christmas lights down before this came through. We may get a little rain here or there today but nothing like yesterday. I kept saying to my boss, "Do you think this is what a hurrican looks like?". It was crazy yesterday.

I was wondering this too. I am kind of hoping down the line they will make this one. I noticed on their special priced cruises a lot of them are eastern cruises. One year I remember getting an email from them saying they had switched my reservation to a group cruise and it saved me $400. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Partly cloudy and no wind May get a few showers, but that is it for now. We could use the rain though, but in small spurts, we had a pretty dry year last year like most states.
