Partly cloudy and no wind:cool1: May get a few showers, but that is it for now. We could use the rain though, but in small spurts, we had a pretty dry year last year like most states.

Glad to hear that you and yours are OK, Becky. :goodvibes

It's funny that you made that comment about a hurricane ... when I saw the satellite pictures of that storm last night I told Jay it reminded me of the early formation of a hurricane spinning in reverse.

The weird thing here is three days ago we had temperatures in the single digits with wind chills below zero - now it's 60 degrees and it's supposed to stay warm through Tuesday all because of this same storm system. I know we're gonna pay for this eventaully, but I can't wait to go out and walk in the fresh air this afternoon. Gotta enjoy it while it lasts!

A bobaloser FO?

Excellent! :thumbsup2

I weighed in this morning ... only gained one pound over the holidays and that's probably because I took last week off and didn't exercise at all. I made up for it this week ... I've logged about 5 miles on the treadmill and am getting ready to head downstairs to burn some more fat.

Jay had to work this morning so he won't be home for another hour or so. Just enough time to sneak in a workout!

:lmao: Love that idea!!! You are so evil Nancy.............:rotfl2:

Glad I could help Andy. :rotfl2:

Thanks ladies. I knew I could count on you all. I'll let you know if it's needed, but according to the TA's email, Brenda's ressie proof should suffice.:thumbsup2

Glad to see you're ok Steve, I am assuming you had all of you Christmas lights down before this came through. We may get a little rain here or there today but nothing like yesterday. I kept saying to my boss, "Do you think this is what a hurrican looks like?". It was crazy yesterday.

My brother called about 5:30 last night and said they had been without power since 6:15am. He said it looked like a lightening storm going through with all the transformers burstin, he saw at least 6 of them blow. Then he called about a 1/2 hour later saying my SIL had driven through a puddle and the car had stalled. She's fine, they towed the car to her brothers house, who happens to be a mechanic, and he got everything started back. They were both a little panicked though, since they had been diverting traffic and she didn't know where she was. Thank god for cell phones

Glad you and Steve are fine. Scarey stuff, huh?

You guilted me into a bike ride B. I'm wondering though if mouse clicking is exercise?:woohoo: I should be thin in no time then. :goodvibes

Hi Carrianne good another BOBaloser! I looked at the Bath and Body Works website and saw the fit flops and was wondering if they are truly comfortable or not. I am thinking of ordering a pair and giving them a try too, now I just need to decide what color to get. I am debating between the silver and the black, I guess I have a little while to decide before I'll be wearing any type of flip flops around here though.

Cherly - I wear them around the house as well - but not so much when its really chilly. I have the Badger Red version.

Also - they run a bit big at times, so if you are a half size, I might go down instead of up.

Can't wait to see all these awesome babes in their fitflops on the cruise. And by then maybe they'll have a guys version as well.:cool1:

do these things really work? I've seen them before but I've never talked to anyone who's actually tried them.

Nancy, i read you probably don't need anyone else's info but if you do let me know.
Cass, i also have DU now. So a group rate thing sounds great to me!!!!

Cass, also my sister's room and my dad's room are now under DU. So there a 3 rooms just with my family.

I got them at the end of the summer, not sure if they actually work, but like I said before when I would come home from walking all day and sit down, the muscles they say they work twitched. They are very very comfortable though.

My room is as well, and I think Steve is with DU. I'm going to email them just to get the info on what we can do.

Hey Tanya, I have an invite to one of those parties if you want to make a road trip!!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: We could split the $50 onboard credit. of course, it will cost alot more than that in gas money to get there and back.............:confused3 But the entertainment will be priceless I'm sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A man in a bra and lipstick, a neighbor that is a stripper and the sweetest hostess around would be worth the trip!!:thumbsup2

Sounds good to me. Philip says when the wheels roll . . . :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

No. We are about 4 hours away from each other. We talk alot on the phone though!! To not like her too much growing up I sure love her now!!!!!!! She was an evil big sister!!!!!!!!:lmao: :lmao:

After the initial blow of having to share the house with her, I have always loved her! She is just more open to my expert guidance now!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

However, when it comes to cruising and disboards, I ask her questions.
:thumbsup2

Our reservation is also with DU and it sounds like Nancy is switching hers over, too. :thumbsup2

Good to know. My problem is that I really don't know when I'd wear them - that's not the kind of sandal I can get away with wearing at work. Maybe I'll just stick with lunges for now and let the rest of you test the fitflops ... to really see if they work you should measure your thighs amd hips before wearing them on a consistent basis and then measure again every week. In the past when Jay and I have started workout programs we always recorded our starting weight and measurements and then re-checked every week. It actually helped me a lot to know that sometimes I was losing inches even if my weight didn't move much.

I'll be cheering everyone on! :cheer2: :cheer2:

What's been going on?
I saw a post about a group rate...
I guess I have some catching up to do.

I wasn't even on here yesterday.
We spent part of the day in the emergency room yesterday.

Mike has been painting his parent's ceiling while they are in Fla. He came home Thurs. saying he was a little dizzy. I said, "Then you better not go over there tomorrow until you feel better"

Of course, he went anyway... I called him from work and he said he was done, but felt really dizzy and had some shortness of breath. (He had been laying on the floor as the room spinned.) He said he was going to drive home. I said, "You can't drive when you're dizzy." After a while, it didn't get any better, so I left work and picked him up, then took him to the emergency room.

After a few tests...
They said he has vertigo caused by a virus. The shortness of breath is due to his pacemaker. (needs tweeked)

So he was tossing his cookies most of the night. :sad1:
The nausea is gone now, but the dizziness hasn't gotten any better.

They said it would take a couple of days before it goes away.

Sorry B, I gotta stick with my TA at AAA. She's a personal friend of mine who isn't worth hurting or losing for $200.00. She is working on it for me though. Hopefully, she can snag some kind of OBC for me too, otherwise, I'll be hanging out with Jeff who not only booked onboard for $200, and is a CC member for another $50, and is with Dreams for another $200.00. :rotfl2: I love friends with OBC's. (Hey tag fairy, tag me with that line!):goodvibes
