What's been going on?
I saw a post about a group rate...
I guess I have some catching up to do.

I wasn't even on here yesterday.
We spent part of the day in the emergency room yesterday.

Mike has been painting his parent's ceiling while they are in Fla. He came home Thurs. saying he was a little dizzy. I said, "Then you better not go over there tomorrow until you feel better"

Of course, he went anyway... I called him from work and he said he was done, but felt really dizzy and had some shortness of breath. (He had been laying on the floor as the room spinned.) He said he was going to drive home. I said, "You can't drive when you're dizzy." After a while, it didn't get any better, so I left work and picked him up, then took him to the emergency room.

After a few tests...
They said he has vertigo caused by a virus. The shortness of breath is due to his pacemaker. (needs tweeked)

So he was tossing his cookies most of the night. :sad1:
The nausea is gone now, but the dizziness hasn't gotten any better.

They said it would take a couple of days before it goes away.

Hope he feels better soon!
Vertigo is miserable.

Hope Mike feels better soon! Tell him that one-legged weirdo in Missouri, her husband, and even Plankton are sending him well wishes. :flower3:

Sorry B, I gotta stick with my TA at AAA. She's a personal friend of mine who isn't worth hurting or losing for $200.00. She is working on it for me though. Hopefully, she can snag some kind of OBC for me too, otherwise, I'll be hanging out with Jeff who not only booked onboard for $200, and is a CC member for another $50, and is with Dreams for another $200.00. :rotfl2: I love friends with OBC's. (Hey tag fairy, tag me with that line!):goodvibes

D'OH! :headache:

Sorry Nancy ... that's what happens when I don't get enough sleep and try to DIS without coffee. My wee little brain gets all confuzzled. :rotfl2:

I've spent most of my day working on a video presentation gift for Angelina. It took longer than I thought because I had to keep stopping to wipe the tears from my eyes. This video turned out to be more emotional than I thought it would.

Here's some :wizard: for a quick recovery Mike!!! I hope you feel better real soon........;)

We also have our ressie through DU.

I really like the fitflops in red. I was showing a friend online today and she wanted to check out crocs in flipflops - two styles. Anyway, I didn't realize just how many Disney versions they have now: ariel, cinderella, pirates, skate, etc. Adult and kid sizes.:thumbsup2

It's tough going back through those old videos, isn't it? :sad1:

We have videos from our daughter when she was young that I have never even watched. Just haven't been able to go there. But, I'm going to have to now. We're putting all of our old VHS and VHS-C on DVD.

It'll be a tearful time, I'm sure. :sad2:

Robin, hope Mike is feeling better. Tell him we're all thinking of him.

Andy, I remember when you did the pictures for her graduation page. You did a great job on that. I bet the video is awesome too.

My room is as well, and I think Steve is with DU. I'm going to email them just to get the info on what we can do.

I was wondering this too. I am kind of hoping down the line they will make this one. I noticed on their special priced cruises a lot of them are eastern cruises. One year I remember getting an email from them saying they had switched my reservation to a group cruise and it saved me $400. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Would they give a group discount on top of the already 10% off that most of us have? If not, would the group rate be as good as the 10%?

I would doubt that we'd get both, but if you need another room and it can be combined, I'm game. I haven't moved my ressie anywhere yet, so I will join you guys.

Sorry Nancy, I'm not getting the Dreams $200. If I do xfer it out, I will only get $50 ($100 if I would have done it before 12/31). The Cat 8-12 only get the lower OBC. It's those uppity people in the Cats 4-7 that get the larger credit. :rotfl:

I used a couple songs on the video that really set the tone, "In My Daughter's Eyes" and "You Raised Me Up" listening to those two songs, while looking at all the pics was just too much, but it's something I've wanted to do for quite sometime now. I hadn't planned on doing it today, but after we took down the Christmas Tree and all the other decorations, I just started looking through old photos, the next thing I knew several hours had passed and the video was finished.........:goodvibes

Good for your Carrie. Keep strong. One of my favorite lines in the Little Mermaid is when Sebastian says "Teenagers...give them an inch and they swim all over you"

A majority of the things that Kelsey is doing is not a typical teenager. If it was I would not be going as crazy.

Hello all!

I just switched our reservation to your cruise date! It will be our 3rd DCL vacation (we disembarked from the Magic one year ago today :sad2: ) and although it will be a longer wait, we are all excited to be joining in your fun! ;)

I'm Sheri-Kindergarten teacher, mom to sons Dakota and Austin (17 and 15 at the time we sail), and wife to Pat, a sergeant with our local Sheriff's office.

We live in Northern Nevada and are in the midst of a great snow storm!

I recognize some of your Dis-names and am looking forward to getting to know you! On our last Eastern it was really fun to recognize people from the Disboards that I'd been chatting with for months!

Hi Sheri - welcome to the thread!! We're a chatty group but very friendly, so please jump right in and join the fun with us. :goodvibes

I'm Brenda ... I believe I may be the resident lunatic but I'm harmless. ;)

:cheer2: Welcome Sheri, Pat, Dakota and Austin! Brenda is right, we are chatty but harmless but she's not the only lunatic on this thread. :rotfl2:

I'm Nancy and cruising with DH Chuck and perhaps our grown children, Tony, Stacy, Kristin and Jesse.
