Yes, that is pretty creative. I try to think of some myself but usually come up empty handed. If you (or anyone) can think of any, let's pm them to Jeff. I'm sure he could use a hand on these.

Good morning everyone....

I've just discovered I have an unplanned day off. Our schools are closed today due to weather, so I'll be staying home with my munchkin. I may call a friend who's a stay at home mom to see if she'll watch Thomas for a while so I can go in for a few hours, but I don't want to call her too early.

Has the weather this winter seemed harsher than it has been in recent years?

This Wisconsin weather really is something else this year! I thought I heard that we had over 56 inches of snow already and it's still January!

I like Britney too Jen. But I also like the grey team for the same reasons Brenda does. Quiet, hard working, sincere.

Hi all. I'm popping in really quickly. Here are my answers---I don'thave a fave resort yet...BL fave is the grey team--bottom line kinds of guys.

I will be in and out over the next few days---We've been offered a house on the base, so I am going to measure windows today, etc., etc. We are very excited as it will be much less expensive to live on base and safer, too. The house is new too so I am thrilled. Anyway, I hope y'all are having a great day and I hope to catch up a little later today.

Good morning!

In answer to Jen's question about BL - this is the first time I've ever watched it so I can't compare Bob's behavior last night after the challenge to his behavior in previous seasons, but he did what most people in that position would have done - set himself and his team up to win. It may seem cold and unfair but at the end of the day it's all about winning.

And obviously Jillian was upset, but how must Bob have felt at the beginning of the show when four out of the first five teams chose her as their trainer over him? People were sending him a message right away that they thought they couldn't win with him as their trainer. Now he's trying to send a message back.

I don't really care for it, but the producers are trying to script "drama" which quite frankly makes we want to puke. Did you see the previews for next week? Now we get to turn the show into a soap opera.

Can you tell I don't normally watch "reality" tv? I won't make this mistake twice, that's for sure. Thank goodness spring training starts soon ... we'll have baseball for the next 7-8 months.

Hi ya Jen! I would kill for a day off! We don't seem to get any snow anymore in Virginia. I haven't had a snow day from work in 5 years!
Talk about crazy weather!!! When I got up to run this morning it was 55. This time last week it was 17!

We're under a winter storm watch now for tomorrow afternoon / evening ... I hope it waits until tomorrow night and then I can just work from home on Friday ...

I drive 60 miles roundtrip daily, so trust me when I say that driving around here when the flakes are flying is like being consigned to the 10th level of hell (I made that one up just for St. Louis).

Paige, you're half right! I thought his real name was Rod. I even called him that a couple of times on an excursion we went on with his family. They also sat near us at dinner every night. It was much later and after the cruise when I realized his name was not Rod at all!! No wonder I got funny looks from him and his wife.

Rachel's school was closed today because of the frigid wind chills here. It was my day off anyways so now she is just home with me and Al is actually off today too. I thought I better get on here while I can this morning because once she gets up she will probably want the computer, but that probably won't be until 10:00 or maybe even later.

I agree Jen this winter does seem worse than recent years although last year Rachel's school was closed 2 days because of dangerous wind chills too. This winter definitely seems much snowier (is that a word) than we've had in a long time. I am very ready for winter to end and spring!

This morning they said on the news we broke a record for the largest temp change in a 24 hour period. It was 43 when I got up yesterday morning and this morning it was -6 with a wind chill of -25. Before the temps started dropping yesterday we had rain and thuder and then the temps. plummeted and we had a little BLOWING snow.
