Good Sunday Morning/Afternoon All.........

Hope you all have a nice day!!!

Lina is taking mom and dad to Chili's for dinner with a couple of the gift certificates she got last weekend, isn't she sweet!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Ok all you slimfasters how do you use the product? I am planning on starting on Monday I didn't buy the snackbars figured I could eat fruit/veggies or yogurt or 100 calorie packs. I am using the dry mix for breakfast and the liquid for lunch since that will be easier to take to work. I am thinking shake for breakfast, fruit or 100 calorie snack for snack, shake and small salad for lunch, and a protein and veggie for dinner, then a fruit or yogurt parfait for end snack as long as it hits before 8 pm. Any other ideas or snacks you can think of? What about adding frozen strawberries to the chocolate mix in the morning? Can I do that?

I found out that the high school pool is open for adult lap swimming tues-fri, so I am going to start doing that on T-Th, then Curves on M-W-F, and walking during my lunch. Should have started doing this all along but oh well at least I can try and get some pounds off during the next 6 weeks before the cruise!

Way to go Becky....think of the Zip Line excursion you've booked.

Good morning all,

Kyacking went well. We didn't flip. Spent about 2 hours out there. We had dolphins about 2 feet away. So this might be something we will do again.

Jeff nice pictures- can you ID some of the people so us newbies can match names to faces? Great yard. I guess I won't complain about mowing any more. It's funny for this city girl to see farm land to close to houses.

Not much going on today- babysitting this am so frinds can go to church with out little ones and then a little cook out this afternoon.

Have a great sunday- you guys are an inspiration to stick to the diet better- I do well during the week and then blow it all week end. Went to Longhorms after church last night. Can't resist the bread and the onion!

enjoy!!

I found posting my daily food on here a great way of keeping on track to start with. It stopped me eating junk cuz I would ahve had to confess:rotfl:

When on WW you have to write everything down so that you can keep track of the points you've had in a day. I would encourage anyone on any eating plan to write everything down.

Went solo again this morning as the ST didn't want to get out of bed. Increased my workout a tad this morning.

10 minutes on the elliptical
15 minutes on the bike
35 minutes on the treadmill

= over 400 calories burned off this morning, and I lost 1/2 pound after the first three days, even with all I ate at the cook-out yesterday(the food was sooooo good)!!!

I saw my cousin Dennis as I was leaving, he works there part-time now that he retired from his previous job. He said to me, "I see Angelina finally got you back to exercising." To which I replied, "Yeah, but the stinker is home in bed." We both had a good chuckle over that......

Time to go get a shower....:wave2:

Good morning/afternoon everyone! Is everyone in the US enjoying their long weekend? I can't believe it's Sunday already. :sad2:

We have a cook-out with the kids today and Stacy and I are going over some Bridal Shower stuff.

:faint: :faint: :faint:
Our W/S bill this past 1/4 was $180. We also have a small piece of property, it measures 40' X 80'

I'll jump on the bandwagon here. We have an acre of land (most of it in the front yard) and our water/sewer bill is just under $300.00 quarterly. When we lived in Milwaukee it was much less (about $90.00 quarterly) because our sewer was included on our real estate taxes instead of paid out monthly by us.

I love living out here now because the houses are pretty far apart. Our next door neighbor is about 150 feet from us! We have no street lights and no sidewalks which makes it tough for walking late at night but that's still ok by me. We have 13 trees on our lot which are all older than I am so that makes for a ton of leaf raking in the fall. We have no leaf pickup so we get to burn them in our gardens. I love the smell of leaves burning on Saturday mornings during the fall. :lovestruc

Well, have a great Sunday everyone. Have fun packing Heather, Becky and Jeff! You too Chris, if you're lurking. :cutie:

Hi Chris--not much, except some pics from the 4th of July bash at Jeff's the other day, and all the regular chit-chat that goes on around here.

Joanne did post some pics of her recent trip to CA.

First of all...THANK YOU JEFF AND SUZ for hosting a spectacular July 4th DIS Meet. The food was great, the fireworks were awesome, and most importantly the friendship that we shared and the conversations we had made the party. IF we are invited back next year we are sure to come back. Of course with the whooping you took on the volleyball court Im not sure if a few of us will be invited back!!!

BTW - The donuts Jeff has talked about were awesome!!! Puts Crispy Cream to shame!!!!

I'll jump in here too....Here's a pic of our land that we built our house on. Its about 8 acres. The road is in the lower corner of the picture with our drive running back towards the pond. Our 8 acres is the red colored line with the blue line showing what we mow. Takes a good portion of an entire day to get it done. The driveway which now runs up to the white square is about 1000 feet long. The white square is where we built our house. I need to get up in a plane again and get an updated picture with our house in it.

The picture doesnt show the land very well because the house area is actually built up on a pretty steep hill. Makes for some great snowboarding and sleding behind the house in the winter.

We dont have a sewer and water bill because we have our own well in the country. You pay for the electricity to pump it from the well and then you pay $200.00 every 3 years to have your septic tanks pumped. When we lived in the city the sewer and water bills were outrageous.

And I will agree with Cheryl...NO street lights is great!!!

Again - THANKS JEFF AND SUZ for opening your house to us and for the great time!!!

Mark

Sorry to throw that in the middle of your conversations...

Morning everyone. Been awhile since I have been on here. Makes for some interesting reading but just havent had the time lately with work, soccer, and what ever else might be going on.

Hey Cheryl, glad to see you popping in! :thumbsup2 Sounds like a lovely trip, I often wished I lived in the east.

We really enjoyed the time we spent there and said we want to get back out there and see more again soon. We'd like to see more of the historic sites, one of our favorite days of the trip was the day we spent in Lexington and Concord.

Hi Cheryl - good to see you back - we need photos of your vacation:banana:

I still don't know how to download the pictures from the camera to the computer :rolleyes1 so I'll have to have Al or Rachel do that and then I'll post some pictures when I get a chance.

Morning/afternoon everyone  Just popping in here quick, I have some things I need to get done before we go to Summerfest. Today is the day Rachel has been waiting for, tonight is the Jonas Brothers concert, to say that she is excited would be a huge understatement! While she is at the concert with her friends Al and I will walk around Summerfest http://www.summerfest.com/flash/# and see how it has changed since we were there last, which was years ago.
