Thanks. And you'll be here next year, right?

BTW, I heard on the Weather Channel when they were talking about weather in Philly today that there is some Ice Cream Festival going on there today. So why are you at home?

I don't do Philly, unless it's at the airport to head out of town!!! ;)

Maybe Daddy Warbucks, I mean Chris, could just charter a plane for you, Neil, Ellis, Heather, Rick and his family go come in. :cool1:

I will have to ask Chris to swing by Calgary on his way :rolleyes1 It's only a slight detour  :lmao: And then it's a nice little jaunt to California ;)

That's me done for today...I'm bushed and ache still from the vaccinations. See you all tomorrow.

Ouch, those must have hurt Heather :headache: Hope you feel better soon :goodvibes

So did you not get billed for the water in the old house?

We would normally pay $90 per quarter at the old house except for summer. Then I paid about $360 - 4x as much. I didn't care, my grass was green and my neighbors was brown. It's a guy thing.

Per Quarter! We pay that per month here (H20 and garbage combined)

Love the pics! Wish we could be out there. Your yard and house are amazing! Definately a store front would be put on that out here.:rolleyes1 Just to let you know my backyard from the house to the fence is 25 ft.:rotfl: 10 of that is cement. The other 15 will have grass hopefully by next year. I think our lot is 51 by ?? Little that's for sure!

Yeah, we pay $120/month for water/sewer! :scared:

Ok all you slimfasters how do you use the product? I am planning on starting on Monday I didn't buy the snackbars figured I could eat fruit/veggies or yogurt or 100 calorie packs. I am using the dry mix for breakfast and the liquid for lunch since that will be easier to take to work. I am thinking shake for breakfast, fruit or 100 calorie snack for snack, shake and small salad for lunch, and a protein and veggie for dinner, then a fruit or yogurt parfait for end snack as long as it hits before 8 pm. Any other ideas or snacks you can think of? What about adding frozen strawberries to the chocolate mix in the morning? Can I do that?

I found out that the high school pool is open for adult lap swimming tues-fri, so I am going to start doing that on T-Th, then Curves on M-W-F, and walking during my lunch. Should have started doing this all along but oh well at least I can try and get some pounds off during the next 6 weeks before the cruise!

Becky, sometimes I will put a banana in the blender with the shakemix at breakfast or lunch.

Sorry, still feeling a bit groggy. Laid down on the bed at 7 to take a short nap, just woke up a few minutes ago. I guess I was really tired. I still feel as though I was hit by a Mack truck.....

WOW!!! What a slow night on the thread.

WOW!!! What a slow night on the thread.

I'm just checking in before bed. I'm tired tonight. It was a complete "do nothing" day today for me/us. I have to usher at church tomorrow morning at 8:00 and then we have a b-day party for our God-Daughter at 11:00. I won't be on much tomorrow.

Have a nice day tomorrow Jeff!!! :goodvibes

Fireworks are starting again tonight. I think we have 4-6 communities shooting them off tonight. Plus, a few neighbors are doing them tonight.

Sorry Andy, but I'm going to be turning in now. I'll try to talk a little more tomorrow in between our events.

Have a good night.

Same here, I hear some firecrackers going off in the area.

Thanks, you do the same. Even after sleeping for 3 hours tonight, I'm ready to go back to bed myself. See everyone tomorrow......:wave2:

Becky, I am no expert and no longer following the plan (I did it for one month just to give me a kick start) but it sounds like you have a great plan :thumbsup2 You don't need the slimfast snacks, eating fruit is just as good or better. But I would try to keep your snacks between 100-150 calories. The biggest tip I can give you is to NOT skip that after dinner snack. When I did skip it, I usually was starving by 10pm and either suffered or ate something which isn't good because it's so late. I usually eat at 5:30 and then have a snack by 7:30-8:00 and that keeps the late night munchies away:thumbsup2

The older houses dont have a meter fitted to see ow much water is used so they just charge you a flat rate whether you use loads of hardly any. People with meters fitted pay for what they use.

Per Quarter! We pay that per month here (H20 and garbage combined)

On top of the water bill we have council tax which covers refuse collection, general services - another £££ fortune:rolleyes: . This is graded on the value of the house.

I use the snacks to keep in my bag as they are convenient. I also snack on raw carrot etc - hardly any calories. If you add frozen berries or fruit to your shake that should really count as your mid morning snack *** you'd be adding aprox 100 calories? Definately dont skip on snacks or as Cass said you end up scoffing on junk and spoiling an otherwise good day.

Its a pity you dont get smoothies over there - they are more filling than the shakes and really tasty too.

Good luck:thumbsup2 I found posting my daily food on here a great way of keeping on track to start with. It stopped me eating junk cuz I would ahve had to confess:rotfl:
