I heard on the news this morning, today is, "National Zipper Day".

A friend of ours has a family motto "Keep It Zipped" they were the first people I thought of this morning when I heard what day it was............:lmao:

I sent them an e-mail letting them know about today, they were going to make sure their 17 year old son hears about it as well...........:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sorry to hear that! It's sunny but only 53 here today. Didn't bring my jacket or I would have gone for a walk at lunch. It's a little chilly in the shade!

About the same temp here, but still very overcast, damp, and windy, making it feel very raw out. I like the sun and 70's much better!!!

Is MVMCP worth it?

Shades of green is very nice. But if you haev never been there at christmas time beware. it is so crowded. The one time we went they closed the gates by 9:30 cause the parks were at their capacity. The lines for even the bathrooms were insane. Never again..... You hardly get to ride anything.

I think all parties are just for the mere fact that the rides are "walk-on" during them.

The next week will be long-lines. Might as well take advantage of the quiet crowd. :thumbsup2

Well, I just booked SoG for the 19th, so I guess we'll see ya!:cool1:

When do the MVMCP tix usually go on sale?

As for the crowds--I know it's going to be a challenge with so many people, but since we have never done Christmas before I think we will be touring more than riding. Of course the kids will want to ride, and we'll make time for it, but luckily they don't mind touring either.

I really want to see the candlelight processional, too.

I forgot about the Candlelight Processional.

We are also thinking the Osborne Lights at MGM.

Hmmm....Maybe this Dolphin thing is the way to go if I just spend the 20th at the Studios and Epcot. Our problem is Suz is an MK junkie and MVMCP runs on the 18th and 19th, so the only night other than when we go to the party she'd be able to go would be the 20th.

Maybe we could do Osborne Lights on Thursday, MVMCP on Friday and Candlelight on Saturday. Osborne and Candlelight could be flipped though.

No if Suz could just get off work at that time and we can make a decission on the hotel. :headache:

Remember it's easy to get to Epcot from MK via the monorail--park hopping may be the way to please everybody.

An hour and a half and not a soul? Where is everyone? Andy isn't it lunch time for you? Jeff, Are you still crunching numbers?

Month-end Shelley. Shouldn't be on right now.

Hopefully Thursday will clear for me being the new month.

Rember it's easy to get to Epcot from MK via the monorail--park hopping may be the way to please everybody.

Oh, I plan on Park Hopping. That is how our trips usually are.

This past February when we went down for DS's b-day weekend, we skipped Epcot (except lunch one day) and took our time in the other 3 parks. I've never spent that much time in AK except during DS's first trip (we booked a whole week at WDW - boy times have changed. Now it is just runnin and gunnin).

It was nice to relax this time. I have only seen the AK parade though once out of all the times we went and that was DS's first trip again.

I'm getting teary just thinking about going there the first time with him. How little he was and the time he had. It was great. I'll never regret spending the money to go on all these vacations with him. Soon he will be moved out. :sad1:

Just wait until he gets a girlfriend.

Well, we're fine here and Shelly has posted that they are fine. Cheryl is actually in Wisconsin, and Tanya in West Virginia. But we have yet to hear from Lori.Lori, hope y'all are well.

Glad you both okay. Did it hit south virginia?
Where are you, anywhere near where it struck:confused3

I'll handle that better than Suz will.

I think the moving out will be the worst. The fact that they're not there when you call upstairs. You don't see them every morning and evening. Kinda like death, but at least I'll be able to call him.

O.K., gotta stop talking about it. :sad1: Good thing I have between 10 and 14 years (which will go quick). NO, I do not want it to be 20, he will need to leave or I'll kick him out. :rotfl:

We really liked it. The parade is cute and the "snow" on Main Street is always a treat. I am a sucker for anything Christmas! I start listening to Christmas music right after Halloween and always have my decorations up by Thanksgiving. Must be the retail blood still in me. I also am one of the crazy people who loves to go to the mall on Black Friday and Christmas Eve and people watch.

Me too Shelley! I actually do all my Christmas shopping on Black Friday. Not one day before nor one day after. Love it and love the crowds!!:cheer2:

Nancy you and Tuna are welcome to join us! We are going down in June and October and have a sofa bed available at the Boardwalk Villas. Who knows, by October you may be ready to be MIA!! :rotfl:

P.S. I GOT A FO!!!!!! :cool1:

Thanks for the offer Shelley. Between my folks, my brother, and another wedding I don't think I can even wait until June. I'll be lucky to get out of my driveway for a vacation this year. We're even thinking of skipping our fall getaway to Wisconsin Dells this year. It would save me $700.00 but it also means it would be the first year in almost 30 that we miss up there. :headache:

Well, now I'm off to the doc for my yearly physical.....fun fun.:headache: :headache:

Did you study hard for it Sistah P?

Time to grab some lunch.........:goodvibes

You still consider a Slim Fast shake lunch Andy? :scared1:

Ahhh, that explains no email from you today. I'm running my month end reports this afternoon instead of tomorrow so I have a ScrewOff day on Wednesday. :rolleyes1

Or...he can live with you until he's 24! :goodvibes
(Actually, neither one of us is looking forward to an empty nest.:sad1: )

It all happens so fast, enjoy it. I cried all the way home from Tallahasse when we dropped Scott off. Now he is back!!! His interview went well. They did all their summer hiring so he won't start unil October. We likes that. So he is going back to waiting tables for the summer and then grad school starts in August. So now we have to go find some health insurance for him until then.

Happy Tuesday all.

Is this what I have in my future??!! :scared:

:rotfl:

My 7 year old is more like the stinky teen that Andy has at home - all attitude and moaning:lmao:

Yes! Yes! and more Yes!

Told ya he'd agree:lmao:

So, you're going to WDW twice this year? June and December?
All this talk from my fellow BOBs about going to WDW this year makes me sad we can't go. Darn those kids and their weddings! :lmao:

We'll miss you Momma Goose:hug:

Well, I just booked SoG for the 19th, so I guess we'll see ya!:cool1:

I thought they were already on sale if you call - online on May 1st

Moving out? - no way is Ellis moving out - he has to look after his old mom:rotfl2:
