So, you're going to WDW twice this year? June and December?
All this talk from my fellow BOBs about going to WDW this year makes me sad we can't go. Darn those kids and their weddings! :lmao:

We're going in July and December this year and June next year. We're getting Ap's so we have to make the most of the, ya know!:rotfl2:

Only through the 19th and it is a Christmas party? That seems a little odd to me.

They probably figure the whole "World" will be packed the weeks of Xmas and New Years, that they don't want to close that park an evening.

Well, it looks like the 19th is available. I think I will call and tack on a day to my ressie......I can always cancel later. Of course I would have to check with Rob to see if he could take another day of leave.....

Myabe I'll check SoG website to see if the 19th is available........

Shades of green is very nice. But if you haev never been there at christmas time beware. it is so crowded. The one time we went they closed the gates by 9:30 cause the parks were at their capacity. The lines for even the bathrooms were insane. Never again..... You hardly get to ride anything.

Melody, I'm a morning person myself. Up before 6:00 am on the weekends too. :scared1: Chuck has to be out of the house by 4:00 am on the weekdays so on the weekends he likes to sleep in a little. By 7:30 though, I'm jumping on the bed to get him up.:rotfl: We always have tons of errands to run on Saturdays and I like to get at them early. I do love the early morning quiet in the house though.
I LOVE mornings....quiet, the news, the laptop and a hot cup of coffee. :surfweb:

Is MVMCP worth it?

We really liked it. The parade is cute and the "snow" on Main Street is always a treat. I am a sucker for anything Christmas! I start listening to Christmas music right after Halloween and always have my decorations up by Thanksgiving. Must be the retail blood still in me. I also am one of the crazy people who loves to go to the mall on Black Friday and Christmas Eve and people watch.

Nancy you and Tuna are welcome to join us! We are going down in June and October and have a sofa bed available at the Boardwalk Villas. Who knows, by October you may be ready to be MIA!! :rotfl:

P.S. I GOT A FO!!!!!! :cool1:

It only runs through the 19th, so You won't be down in time for it Paige (you come the 20th, correct?).

Are you going to the parks on the 20th? Just wondering if we go, if we'd see you.

Well, I just booked SoG for the 19th, so I guess we'll see ya!:cool1:

When do the MVMCP tix usually go on sale?

As for the crowds--I know it's going to be a challenge with so many people, but since we have never done Christmas before I think we will be touring more than riding. Of course the kids will want to ride, and we'll make time for it, but luckily they don't mind touring either.

I really want to see the candlelight processional, too.

MVMCP tix should go on sale May 1

Glad to hear our friends in Virgina are all OK. :grouphug:

Paige, MVMCP tickets go on sale May 1 - last year adult prices were about $51 per person. However, you can sometimes get a discount by purchasing in advance of the event. There may also be DVC, AAA, and AP discounts available - poke around on the DVC website and the WDW website to find out for sure.

You can also check all ears website for some good info and the events section here at the DIS.

Some day I hope we can go to WDW during that time of year ... right now Jay can't take vacation during November, December, or January so we always default to the F&W Festival - not that I'm complaining. ;)

Gotta get to work ... have a good day!

An hour and a half and not a soul? Where is everyone? Andy isn't it lunch time for you? Jeff, Are you still crunching numbers?

Sorry to hear that! It's sunny but only 53 here today. Didn't bring my jacket or I would have gone for a walk at lunch. It's a little chilly in the shade!
