Why can't I be independently wealthy?

I ask myself this question every day.

I do that too B.
I just keep hoping for a lottery win. It doesn't have to be a big one, just enough to pay everything off, buy two new cars, pay for 2 weddings, buy some DVC points, give the kids some money to buy a house, pay off their bills, buy a new house for myself, buy my brother a condo, snag a spot on the EB Repo, ........
guess I better hope for a BIG win, huh?

Me too Shelley! I actually do all my Christmas shopping on Black Friday. Not one day before nor one day after. Love it and love the crowds!!

I just got off the phone with the lady at 1-407-DISNEY and she said they are not on sale yet. She said "First week of May."

We really liked it. The parade is cute and the "snow" on Main Street is always a treat. I am a sucker for anything Christmas! I start listening to Christmas music right after Halloween and always have my decorations up by Thanksgiving. Must be the retail blood still in me. I also am one of the crazy people who loves to go to the mall on Black Friday and Christmas Eve and people watch.

Hi Heather! Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving here in the US. It marks the first official shopping day of the Christmas / holiday season and is typically when all the retailers see their annual net income move from the "red" column (losses) to the "black" column (finally... a profit!).

I never shop on Black Friday ... for one thing I usually have to work because the bank's are all open for business, but I don't like the crowds.

I do most of my shopping on-line anymore ... more choices and no foot-traffic!
