Anyone done the pedicure on the ship????????????? It sounds nice--but its $55.00-----trying to dec. if I want to do it before I leave or book this and do it one the ship???????????????

I'm getting one on Wednesday before we leave.

I have had the pedicure onboard both of our past 2 cruises. One was good, one wasn't. The one on the Magic my toe polish came off several of my toes within 2 days. I went back to the spa to see if I could get the color put back on and the response was "Yes, for $20.00". No thanks after the cost of the pedicure and a good tip!

I had my toes done here in town last week. I had the gels put on for $35 that should last around 4-6 weeks.

I would recommend saving the money and time and having it done at a spa or nail shop at home.

We will also be sailing on the 24th and was wondering about the excursions.
Like in St Thomas the butterfly garden is that something that can be done on our own or is it better w/ Disney. And in St. Maarten is the Sea World Explorer coral reef good for a 3yr old?

Hi! Welcome! I'm Angela, sailing with DH and kids: 17, 10 and 7.

First Disney cruise for us, we are doing tours at both islands on our own (through companies on the islands, recommended on this board). If I can answer anything I know about them, I'm happy to!

Oh no...I can't believe the polish came off that quickly.

I just got my very first pedicure ever at the beginning of the month - my mom and I went together.

I thought I would have to get another one before I left, but the polish and design is still on and looks nice. I've got a flower with a tiny rhinestone on each big toe. So fun!

Does anyone here fly Airtran regularly? I looked on their website to see the maximum size carry-on allowed and it says up to 55 inches (l+w+h). Is that right? That seems bigger than other airlines....

Does anyone here fly Airtran regularly? I looked on their website to see the maximum size carry-on allowed and it says up to 55 inches (l+w+h). Is that right? That seems bigger than other airlines....

I thought I heard that AirTran's overheads are larger than most airlines for some reason. Don't quote me on that though. We are flying AirTran home. I have not yet flown with them.
