Good morning, everyone! Just checking in real quickly, I'm off to the dentist now since Maddie's in school today...NOT a big fan of the dentist...but, I'm going to be a big girl.

Hope everyone has a great day!!! :flower3:

O does that mean that he got the Walt or Roy Disney Suite?:lmao:

Nope, he just ran out of teatowels:goodvibes:rotfl:

You know...cookies don't usually worry me, but when you see them all laid out in the buffet, I start to crave crunchie cookies...but they are all ususally soft and chewy.:sad2:

We had some really lovely ones on the Jewel in May. Peanut and Coconut...really yummy. Sorry Karen!

No need to apologise:goodvibes... I have our "nut free zone" set up for the Magic. Its the flight over there that makes me nervous:rolleyes:

It must be one of thos British "lost in translation" things..

Like "Lift" and "Elevator" or "Lorry" and "truck"
:rotfl:

:rotfl: :thumbsup2

Or humping:rotfl2:

:lmao: I knew that would come up again:lmao:

back home to finish my tag gifts and perhaps I'll even attempt a tshirt today.

:woohoo: Go Rose:woohoo:

Be brave:goodvibes:thumbsup2... I HATE THEM TOO:rolleyes1

Awwww.... bringing back such great memories!!! We ALWAYS lived in base housing and i remember running all round the neighborhood because it was safe - wish I could do that with my kiddos now! :-(

I am an Air Force brat too. I remember taking my bike to school by myself at a really young age, sleeping with the doors unlocked, playing in the streets all day etc. But of course moving after a year of making friends was the worst.

Just a big thanks going out to everybody for your support. It's tough, but we'll get through it. Like I said earlier, we're still going on the cruise, since we would lose so much on the trip, plus non-refundable airline tickets. So, we just won't do any excursions while we're out.
Everybody talking about cookies makes me want to smuggle a case of thin mints onto the ship, so I can eat them with my milkshakes! pirate:

You don't get girl scout cookies??? OH NO!! I am going to see if I can pack a box for you in my luggage!

They vary, but most of them are crunchy. The 3 "top" ones are Samoas, Thin Mints and Tagalongs. Here are piccies of them:

Here is the link to the bakery website that shows all of them: http://www.littlebrownie.com/cookies/index.html

They are DIVINE!!! (We don't sell them until February, though... I just have some left over in my freezer!)

Yummy!! I'm getting hungry now.....:woohoo:

I'm one of those weird ones:rolleyes: that doesn't care too much for the thin mints, but those tagalongs! Wow! I've eaten whole boxes of them at one time:thumbsup2 (then felt guilty about all those calories and so skipped eating dinner:rolleyes1)

But Angie girl, how the he($ do you still have some in your freezer?
That's incredible, they would never last more than a week at my home!

We did all that in just a regular (not military) neighborhood when I was young. Just the sign of the times how things are different now. :sad2:

I'm bummed I didn't get an upgrade either.
4 cruises now, it's never happened yet:sad1:

We lived in the bronx back then and we still went out and played all day!!! Just had to be home for dinner!! Can't even imagine.

What happened to the avatar thief? I can't remember his name, and I looked but didn't find it on earlier posts. Also, they're not on Cass' site anymore.

Jeff has requested that his information be removed from the Who's Going Page, however, he and his family are still cruising with us.

Because this is my 6th year doing scouts and I'm sick of them by now. Of course, Tagalongs are MY favorite too (there aren't ANY of those left :rotfl2:)

I actually only have about 2 1/2 cases left - mostly Thin Mints and Samoas. They are in the freezer out in the garage (out of sight, out of mind!!)

That stinks! Does that mean he's not participating in DisTag anymore?? :confused3

Hiya Chaz! Hope your weather isn't as dreary as it is up here in Virginia - ICKY!!

It is; it's been raining for three days now, and another storm is just about on top of me. I have all the windows in the house open so I can air out the house, and now I've gotta go & close them all! Like to see some south Carribean sunshine!! :cool1:

I just posted this on the main cruise board, but I thought I'd get your opinions also:

Hello all...I was just reading the letter about the Halloween festivities for October and a question came to mind. Would DCL consider a toy lightsaber (Star Wars) in the same category as guns, swords, etc. and therefore not allowed on board? DS has a Jedi costume he'd love to wear, but I don't know if he can bring the lightsaber....

Good Question!!! My DH was asking the same thing - of course, he said he was SURE that any swords/guns/lightsabers would be available for purchase (for the low low Disney price of $$$$$$$$) at the onship shop!!!
