Heather - my 14yo Heather hollered at you yesterday evening, and she keeps asking me whether you gave her a holler back yet! I told her you probably had to work today, but boy is she bugging me! If you wouldn't mind sending some pixie dust her way, she would love it! And, she says that she's looking forward to meeting you on the cruise, too; so lookout! :goodvibes

Sorry Chaz....I had loads to do yesterday along with going into to work in the afternoon to attend a leaving do. Didn't get in till late

Anyway

Thanks for the prayers and keep them coming. She had an MRI and a swallow test today. Unofficial results everything is ok, will know more tomorrow. Sarah said she is just having problems learning to multi-task (breathing and eating at the same time). Her temp is normal!!!

:laughing:She'll get there soon Becky. She's a female remember. pixiedust: for luck.

Anyone pre-ordered gifts from Disney?

Neils ordering the romance basket - (robes, choc and wine in a cooler bag) for me as a belated birthday prezzie. We dont have access to a fax though - do you thing its safe to snail mail it with our credit card details on it?

I want to make sure it gets there on time, so will be posting it early next week.

Send it to me Karen and I'll fax it for you. Remember to include the number.

Hey all!!

Only a few more weeks to go! Woo Hoo!!! My to do list is getting shorter and shorter!! Got the FE gifts, got the magnets organized, the baby is booked into Flounders and now I am onto the BOB T shirts... Does anyone have pics of former shirts they have made? I am looking for some inspiration! I am thinking of the standard orange sign with a personalized message and then our names on the back.

Any other ideas? photos?

Thanks!!

Praise God for that! It's always a worry with little ones like that, but most of the time they tend to work themselves out. Glad to hear she's doing good! Now, just need to get her home. :)

Send Heather to the kids thread, Megan posts there with my log in. There are others that are closer to Heather's age, also.

If you could shoot me a link to it, i'll let her know about it. This stuff is addictive! Never have done this before, but I find myself doing it all the time now! :thumbsup2

You know, I don't think I've ever had a piece of pizza from Pinnochio's.

So..what's the one thing that you want to do on this trip that you haven't done before?

Ya gotta be KIDDIN! They have great (and endless) pizza! It's always fresh, because it never manages to stay there long enough to get old.

She'll LOVE it! And I'm going to get her onth the kid's thread next - now I just have to get my wife into the act...:rolleyes1

Where the heck are the milkshakes...That's my weakness! Tell me, tell me! :rotfl2:

Ok, I'll let go of our 'secret'. Suprised you didn't know about them already! Get a cup from the drink station, put about an inch or less of milk in the bottom, grab a wooden coffee stirring stick, and head over to Scoops, fill it up with soft-serve, cover it with chocolate sauce, stir & enjoy! :goodvibes

My wife is the one that invented them (for us), but I've seen other people having them on the boat, too. :cloud9:

Well, I gotta go take inventory all day. No more posting 'till lunch or late tonight. And I'm already so addicted to this stuff, and it hasn't even been a week that I've been doing it! Next, we have to get to meet all of you wonderful guys & gals - we usually stick to ourselves on the cruise & take it easy. We always end up at a 4-place table by ourselves, except for '07 when my parents went with us. I'll talk to Teresa & see if she would want to link a dinner reservation or not - happy wife, happy life! I really need to cut down on my doghouse time anyways. :rotfl2: Later dudes.

i keep running over in my head what we'll be doing everyday.:wizard:

i've been watching all our home movie cruise dvd's. must say that last night of the cruise show is pretty sad.:sad2:
and that morning of disembarking was awfull gloomy and rainy. but by the time we got to wdw, it was pretty nice.:wizard::wizard:

I'm trying to do the same thing Mike. Every night after I nap for my usual 2 hours and then wake up only to stay awake for another 3 hours I try to think cruise. Instead I find myself thinking about my lousy job situation and other stuff.

Tony brought his video over a couple weeks ago and he did a pretty good job. I never even saw it before. I'm going to have to figure out how to make a copy for myself. :yay:

:woohoo: I just had a video chat with my Tootie! :)

Hi everyone.

I just talked to my Tootie last night too. Sad news on their end though. Jesse's Auntie Suzie passed away on Thursday from Breast Cancer. She was stricken with it 3 times in 8 years and this time it took her life. She was only 42 years old with 3 young children. :sad2: We've known Suzie since 1986 and will miss her horribly. :littleangel:

and shes coming home next weekend.:woohoo::woohoo:princess:

Sure wish mine was. :sad1: But, I'm sooooo happy for you guys.

we have a video of robin with 5 diff desserts on her plate from that lunch.:lmao: i teased her that she was going to eat them all, but really she just wanted a little taste of a few different items.:cutie:

I remember that part on the video Mike. I believe Kristin was up at the dessert line with Robin because she and Robin picked out a few of the same things. :goodvibes I'm going to have to watch that again. :woohoo:

Whatched the shuttle go up online. I always say a little prayer before hand. Stomach always sinks a little when I see one go up. I was telling my daughter I was her age when the Challenger tragedy happens. I can remember like it was yesterday.

Becky, Tony's kindergarten teacher was second in line to go up in the Challenger if Christa McCaullif (sp?) couldn't make it for some reason. She was there when it happened and told us that if another shuttle would have been available right after that she would've gone right up. That woman was fearless. :scared1: Thinking back now that sure was a long time ago wasn't it? Tony was in kindergarten and now he's almost 29 years old. :rolleyes1

Good job Maddie. Keep it up little one. :cloud9:

We wanted to see dolphins at any point in our cruises but never did on either one. I'd have to say that we want to see a movie in the theater this time. We never had the time to do that. We did watch POTC on the Dawg-o-tron one night. :rotfl2: Oh yeah....and more BOBer pictures!

Have fun with the anniversary party Heather! Enjoy your getaway Karen!!:yay:

My whole gang will be wearing t-shirts...I made up shirts, door magnets, and custom luggage tags as a "cruise preparation" package for my in-laws for Christmas last December. My family-'s shirts aren't done yet, but they will be similar to the in-laws' shirts.

Fronts will have BOB logo with names:

And the backs will have DCL Eastern and favorite characters:

The others are still snoring, so I thought I'd catch up on the usual Friday night postathon mega pages.............:confused3..............

3:confused3:confused3

3 pages

Is that the best you can do, knowing I wont be on for 3 days:snooty:

:snooty:I'm disappointed I tell you, dissapointed. :snooty:

Any more of this lack-lustre behaviour and you'll all be in :teacher:detention.

Come on people. Paige even asked for cruise talk and no-one replied:eek:... 7 weeks peeps, this thread should be flying!

If I was writing your report cards my comment would be "Could do much better":lmao:

Have a good weekend people. The forecast where we're going in dire so its umbrella time.

I hope theres lots for me to read on Monday evening:yay:

Believe me Karen, I wish I had more time to DIS!!!

Before I can get all excited about cruise plans, I need to get Thomas's school situation sorted - I have a meeting with the school psychologist and his new teacher on Monday (school starts on Tuesday) to discuss some of the accomodations that might help him in the classroom, etc. I'm very happy that I got a meeting before the first day of school rather than after, and a good friend of mine (whose DS also has ADHD) told me her son had this teacher in 3rd grade and really liked her. So, cross your fingers that we can get off to a good start!

You know, I don't think I've ever had a piece of pizza from Pinnochio's.

So..what's the one thing that you want to do on this trip that you haven't done before?

I think I want to try the rainforest room...and I want to make it to Rockin Bar D at least one night!

How about some cruise talk? I need some cruise talk.

Somebody else think of something to talk about.

OK, I've got a cruise question....

Can someone tell me more about the rainforest room at the spa? I've heard it's nice, but some more info would be good....

Oh, I just counted up my door signs....so far I have 9. I may need to rotatte them around during the week!

So..what's the one thing that you want to do on this trip that you haven't done before?

I want to go into Cove Cafe. A movie might be nice, too. Oh, and I want to sleep all night next to my husband without a child or dog in between.
