Too bad this launch wasn't on October 23rd (into October 24th). Now that would have been too cool to see right before the cruise.

With the Magic coming back from CC tonight and the Wonder in the Bahamas, I wonder if they could see it. I'm sure with that flame behind it, they should have known what it was. That would have been cool too.

I don't know what channel is the NASA channel on my cable, but luckily Fox News is following it right now.

I literally turned it on about 2 minutes before lift off so I couldn't search for it.

O.K., I can't find the NASA channel anywhere on Time Warner Cable here in Milwaukee. What the heck?

A night launch would be neat to see live. Without TV, it probably would be better to see to the naked eye than a day launch.

I heard them talking that there are only 6 shuttle launches left in the current program. Of those, only one will be a "dark" launch and that will be in February, just before dawn.

Whatched the shuttle go up online. I always say a little prayer before hand. Stomach always sinks a little when I see one go up. I was telling my daughter I was her age when the Challenger tragedy happens. I can remember like it was yesterday.

Thanks for the prayers and keep them coming. She had an MRI and a swallow test today. Unofficial results everything is ok, will know more tomorrow. Sarah said she is just having problems learning to multi-task (breathing and eating at the same time). Her temp is normal!!!

They just said, "we are go for launch" I love tower/com traffic.

I flew United Airlines only once and listened to channel 9 the whole time. We pretty much use Delta and US Airways on the east coast. I have flown Continental a few times but most of my flights have been on Delta and US Air.

I wish they had Channel 9!

Channel 9 is the Tower and Air Traffic Control activity, correct?

Loved that flying back from Mexico back in February. DS was into it also.

Hi all! Just popping in to say hi before heading to sleep. Jeff, heather and Karen are going to be disappointed with us for our lack of chatiness!!

I finished decorating the bags that will hold everyonrs dis tag gifts- becca helped and did a great job on them too! I am almost done with all the gifts - just have to pack them up and send them
to the port!!!

I am so excited for our mini-dis bob meet tomorrow!!! My girls are very excited!! (so am I)

Well, I got a reply from my email off Kennedy ... they reckon it goes tonight and theres nothing planned for the 31st??? - why is their website showing it then?

Neils ordering the romance basket - (robes, choc and wine in a cooler bag) for me as a belated birthday prezzie. We dont have access to a fax though - do you thing its safe to snail mail it with our credit card details on it?
