It is a nice view. In view of the other things we've seen you create, watching Steve Nye, the science guy build a sandcastle should be fun. :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

I Dunno, last one I did, I took some pics of my wonderful creation, then later when looking at the pics the towers looked amazingly phallic! Was I embarrased! I did that on a public beach! I'll be more careful this time.

Great Pics!!! I am glad to know I am on the right track!!

I will work on making some new designs to work with! I also want to make some matching WDW shirts for our pre cruise trip.

I've got 18 iron transfers and I'm not afraid to use 'em!! :lmao: I'm a BOBer on the edge! :rotfl2:

Hi all,

This has been a busy week at work with students starting classes this week and begging me to find them extra units.

Anyway, I want to give well wishes for Madeline. Hope she learns to multitask soon!

Is anyone flying with United, and if so have you figured out how to add your passport info on-line? Douglas is having trouble figuring it out.

Nice lunch for VA Dissers....Angie should be along sometime tonight to post pics. Lori, will missed y'all....Matthew, too.

Anybody doing anything fun tonight? Rob and I are trying to go and finally see Public Enemies. We were supposed to go last Saturday night, but didn't get to.

Rob and I got back from our movie last night just in time to watch the shuttle take off on Nasa Live TV :thumbsup2 For awhile there, when you could only see the lights of the engines, it looked like a hidden mickey :earboy2:

I said the same thing! Sean just laughed at me.:rotfl: Now I can show him that I'm not the only one that sees Disney in most things.

I had to miss the VA mini DisMeet. :sad1: I just got home from work a little bit ago. We had a plane full of people divert in on their way to JFK from South America. Unfortunately, their airline doesn't fly to our airport and they had to hire somebody else to help their passengers clear customs and check back in to continue the flight. (The crew timed out while they were refueling and they had to fly in a new crew.) Anyway, the spent a few hours here before they got back on their way.

An important lesson for a few people. If you are flying from Chile and connecting to Europe on a different airline, give yourself more than two hours to connect! :headache:

About three weeks ago on a Saturday morning I got a call from a person in Richmond, VA trying to get to Orlando. They were set to sail on the Disney Magic that afternoon! This was already 10 AM. Their flight from Richmond was cancelled. Their only hope was to drive to Washington DC and catch a non-stop and hope to make it. Unfortunately the flight was already oversold. LESSON - Don't try to fly in the day of sailing and hope you'll make it. You need a backup plan. We plan to come in the day before. Worst case scenario, if we can't get in that night, we have time to hop in the van and drive! :drive:

Matthew :)

I'm so glad we decided to fly in the day before....

I wouldn't fly in less than 3 days ahead just in case my luggage gets rerouted to Nairobi ;)

It's well worth the single night hotel stay for the peace of mind. Not to mention getting there early and not being rushed. :cool2:

I've been looking at the cool shirts that people are making. I'll have to see if Beth is planning to attempt the iron ons for us so we can "blend".

We had "Pirates in the Mediterranean" shirts for our 2007 cruise.

Neat shirts, Matthew.

I don't blame you, Cass. If I had that far to fly, I would want to make certain all my stuff got to my destination ok. We're very lucky that we have a non-stop flight. I just don't want it to be cancelled.

Hi all!! Wonderful day of shopping and visiting with our future cruise mates! We got to meet Paige, Rob, Beth, Megan and Sarah! Lori and Matthew - we missed you!! :sad2:

It was cute to watch the older girls (both 11) try to figure each other out - they were really shy at first but they got to talking a little bit later. The mall was SOOOOO crowded it was hard to just hang out and chat. Becca and Sarah got along just fine - Becca didn't want to leave Sarah - but I told them - we'd see them in 7 weeks! (WOW!!)

Thanks again all for meeting. HEre are a few pictures of the meet - They are from my iphone camera - so sorry about the quality!

All the adults (Abby took the picture - not too bad!!)

Good time had by all. I am sure we will have much better (and quieter) conversations on the boat (the mall was a MADHOUSE!!)

Yep, it was crowded and the music was way too loud, don't you think? I kept relaying what y'all were saying over to Rob. I noticed the crowd got considerably worse when we were leaving.

Well, finally a few people come to chat and I have to leave. We're off to the movies.
