Good Morning from LondonTown

WOW!! that weight watchers and elliptical really paid off as all the bobber girls look great!!:worship: so much so they all decided to wear string bikinis to the beach.:cheer2:

No wonder Robin says you live in fantasy land most of the time...speaking for myself, there is no way you will see me in any type of bikini!:rotfl2:

Are there any WI people flying to and from O'Hare? I'm only asking because I MAY be flying to Chicago after the cruise for a work conference. That leaves Scott to drive home with the kids. But the conference starts Sunday so I will have to fly out there right after the cruise. My boss just told me this yesterday that it is a possibility. That is after she told me that my hours are being cut.:sad2: I am determined to still go on this cruise, but we may need to get creative to do it.:thumbsup2 Any creative ideas on how to cut a budget would be appreciated. We are doing all the obvious things, but you all are creative and am sure you all can come up with some good ideas.:flower3:

Sorry, we're flying from Chicago Midway.

Airtran was the only flight with a decent price this time 'round.

heres a pic of robin and i in st maartin today. funny, it seems like she has more personality in that picture than now.:rolleyes1;);)(oh i'm gonna pay for that)

We walked all the way from the ship to the straw markets. That walk was about as bad as the one in Key West. Remember that one Karen, Jen and Paige??:scared1: (Don't know who the dude is on this pic).:confused3

Lori, as Nancy said, there are 3 groups of us on the Sunday Noon fllight (which by the way people, has changed again, but now a little later - 3rd change now).

As Jen said, she is on the same flight, but on Saturday (for you Jen, you know have an extra 16 minutes to get tot the airport, but I suspect we'll see at least 2 more changes before we go).

Hiya Jeff. How's the visit going?:goodvibes

Well, they brought gifts. The big one was England's weather. We are 15* below normal right now. Suppose to warm up 10* tomorrow, and the extra 5* Fri, Sat, Sun.

Visit is going well. I unfortunately had to work yesterday, but Suz took them around a bit and then stopped by and we all went to lunch.

Still making plans for today because L has baseball again tonight. Tomorrow may be Wisconsin Dells depending on how AFEG's back is feeling and if he can sit that long (or stay away from Boddington's that long :rotfl: ).

Not sure what you mean. :rolleyes1

I read that and laughed my A off. That would have been good, make them work (although I could use the help lately ).

Is AFEG's back giving him trouble? A long flight will do that....

He did something about a week and a half before they came. It's a bummer because I wanted to take him golfing today. But based on the weather, we wouldn't have been going.

How's the weather out East Paige?

Do they have a big celebration on the base for the 4th, or do you guys go up to DC? I'd love to be in DC once on the 4th.

It's gotten hotter since we got back from Florida, and the mosquitoes have started. You know, typical summer weather.

Yes, they do have an all-day celebration here on the base. There is a resevoir with camping/picnic grounds where they have fun family events and fireworks. As for personal fireworks, they are not allowed on base. Now the DC fireworks are great! We've been up there years ago (the last time we were stationed here) and they were absolutely awesome! Reminds you of the fireworks at WDW, but a different feel--more patriotic with all the monuments around.
