Does anyone have any luck with pedometers? I'm looking to buy a really good one that doesn't clip onto your pants or pocket, rather one that you can either carry in your pocket or as a wrist watch.

The iPod one's that you have in your shoe are good as long as you play your iPod all day long. That's not an option for me.

Any ideas?

I want to stay away from the pendulum pedometers too.

I used to like all of them but now we're starting to see their true colors. I wouldn't mind at all if Helen, Ron and Tara left tonight.

I hope to see Mike win it at the end. Then I'm also hoping that the next season The BL will take his brother as a contestant. I bawled like a baby last week watching Mike and his brother.

I agree.. why can't they just send Helen home???..lol I want Tara to win.. she has pushed herself and earned every win... Mike is riding his dads coat tails.. he is a sweet kid but aslong as his dad is there... he is covered.. Kristen had it right.. he wanted to win the easy way.. she should have stayed... did I mention Helen needs to go??.. she manipulates everyone.. pulls the feel sorry for me card everytime.. If tara had made a deal with her I can garentee you that she would have picked the pound and totally screwed over Tara!

I agree with all of you! I was very sad to have Kristen leave. I think she was perhaps the most sincere one of the 6 left. Ron a weasel? Yes, I used the word snake! Wait til Kristin's mom sees that episode. I would like Mik to win mostly because I don't want the others. But after last ight I don't want him either. Hmmmm a dilemma for sure!

I bought one and could not get it set up right, so I gave up. You have to adjust it to your stride and I couldn;t do it right.

I am working from home today, the other two girls on on vacation so I didn;t want to be there alone, I will go in tomorrow to do mail and phone messages and then friday stay home again- maybe!

I got some not-great news yesterday afternoon. DS had an evaluation and we have been given a diagnosis of ADHD (attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder). I wasn't even sure I was going to post (I'd much rather talk about happy stuff) but I may need some cheering up in the next few weeks and my DIS pals are great at that!

So, any pixie dust you can toss our way would be appreciated as we figure this all out!

At least you know what it is. There are so many kids with that and so many teachers/schools that are great with handling them. Just get as educated as you can and hang in there. We will be there for you.

I have friend who's little boy is 8. It took them a while and a lot of work but he is doing well in school now and well behaved, they just had be to consistant and got the medication to work with them. I have two boys and they can be a hand full. Just be patient,

When is the wedding?

My son Ryan is getting married on July 11. (yes he is Ryan Gosling but not the actor). They are both big golfers so they are getting married on the golf course. She is a wonderful girl and we are happy for him. Our DD Megan will be on the cruise with us. Her boyfried is also going and will have a piece of jewelry with him. He wants to propose while on the cruise. He is looking for any suggestions on how to do it. We love him and are very happy. We have said that out of the 4 kids we want keep him.

robin was to be done with school today, but the school had computer issues, so they gave the students till wednesday to finish their last paper. (12 page paper to write!!)
worked out well though because she got to spend more time with cassie.

cassie drove home today and arrived safely. thanks for the well wishes.

when she first went away to school, when she'd come home, i'd leave her a note on her "magnadoodle" (toy she had as a kid)
i'd pretend the stuffed animals on her bed were writing the notes. (sign them...love, tigger or love care bears.)
this time i wrote" from your plush friends. not to late to change your mind about getting married Cassie!!" "or at least take us with you when you get married." "your moms ok, but your dad's really annoying!!"
she liked it.
guess i wont be doing that anymore.our babys all grown up

You could invite everyone into one of the cabins, then order some room service and have the ring on the tray that is delivered.......
