My son Ryan is getting married on July 11. (yes he is Ryan Gosling but not the actor). They are both big golfers so they are getting married on the golf course. She is a wonderful girl and we are happy for him. Our DD Megan will be on the cruise with us. Her boyfried is also going and will have a piece of jewelry with him. He wants to propose while on the cruise. He is looking for any suggestions on how to do it. We love him and are very happy. We have said that out of the 4 kids we want keep him.

Good morning/afternoon all....

I got some not-great news yesterday afternoon. DS had an evaluation and we have been given a diagnosis of ADHD (attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder). I wasn't even sure I was going to post (I'd much rather talk about happy stuff) but I may need some cheering up in the next few weeks and my DIS pals are great at that!

So, any pixie dust you can toss our way would be appreciated as we figure this all out!

My youngest is autistic. Once he was diagnosed, we knew what we were dealing with. With a little work, alot of love, even more understanding and patience, things will be fine. The best thing you can do is educate yourself and your family.
My youngest, (17 now), is highly functioning and you could not tell unless you know what to look for or we told you.

How would we do that? That would be a great idea. He had thought about seeing if he could arrange Stitch to deliver the ring at dinner one night. Not sure how to arrange something like that. I guess I could call the cruise line and see what needs to be done. We may have to wiat until we get aboard to do that.

1) How about her ring in a Glass Slipper? You can get them off of eBay.

2) Or, make arrangements with a photographer during one of their sessions on deck 3 at night. Do a few family shots and a few couple shots. Then he can drop to one knee and propose to her infront of the photographer who would be all too happy to snap a few. You and Tommy can do the same. (Of course, this would only work if they don’t mind being in public).

3) Are you going to the Parks at all? When Tony was looking for ideas I thought it would be great for him and Stacy to be riding in front of us on Splash Mountain. Chuck and I would hold up a sign that reads “Stacy, Will you Marry Me”? ...right at the same time that the professional picture is taken. (Right before heading down). Then when they exit the ride to see their photos, she’d read the sign!! (Again, only good if they mind the publicity). Same thing could be done on Tower of Terror.

Those are great ideas. Ryan did the glass slipper thing at Cindy's castle in MK so I know he wants to do something different than that. I love the splash mountian idea. We will be going to MNSSHP after the cruise.

That is a great idea. I wonder if Stitch is at the breakfast. She loves him. I am going to call the cruise line and see if we could do that. (I would be the one to run off with Mickey )
