But do you only have 4 days a week then? Or something like a 4/3 + 3/4?

Tired and I have several tax returns I need to get done. Plus it is just a miserable day here - lots of rain. Could be worse, they are getting dumped with snow to the north of here.

Tired and I have several tax returns I need to get done. Plus it is just a miserable day here - lots of rain. Could be worse, they are getting dumped with snow to the north of here.

We have a extremel windy day today with the odd burst of torrential rain. But as you said...it could be worse.

I've got a short week coming up. 2.5 days next week..using up some vacation time.

I'd have to find my cheat sheet from that cruise. Those were the good 'ol days.

I think when we got to this point back in '07, we were still not a go. I believe it wasn't unitl April sometime.

Yep! - what a difference a week makes! - he's like a different kid! - I think we've got to the bottom of it though - its his teacher. He's told me a few things in the last couple of days that I am NOT pleased with.

She seems to be singleing him out to make an example of .. a few kids -about 5 (Ellis included) were messing about a bit in the library on friday... he was the only one to be reprimanded .. he was the only honest one who owned up so she punished just him and no-one else. So, what sort of message is that? - be honest and you'll get punished, lie and you'll walk away scott free

Also, a school meeting had been rescheduled from last Nov to this March. We had to return a slip to say whether we would be attending. Ellis handed his in on Friday morning- he was the first to return the slip,...she called him over and in front of the class got him to read the date on the slip... of course, it said Nov 2008 as they had forgotten to amend the date part on the slip. She threw it in the bin and smirked at him telling him he was 5 months too late.

I'll be speaking to her on Monday morning.

UGH Teachers like that need to be smacked! But I am sure Ellis' mommy will give his teacher a nice verbal smackdown when she sees her.

and mountain ranges? wheres becky at? she'd get that joke.

not sure what ranges there are in OH but here the Sierra's are just fine.

A question for you....what made you shave the tash off?

It's been on an off for years now. When the kids were infants they'd hate the way the mustache/beard felt when I kissed them. (a grimace is not the effect that was intended) so while they were young I shaved. In '07 I grew it back as a goatee but got irritated with it one day in early '08 and shaved. Been off ever since. Although today I cut the H**L out of myself and am thinking that not shaving for a while may be nice!

Yep. Actually, I only wanted 3 or 4 groomsmen but was out voted (as with so many things since that day)

Here's the youngest picture of Chuck that I have. That's him and I when his parents renewed their vows. We were Best Man and Maid of Honor.

I really like this one too. I wore a tie just like the one Chuck is wearing. I think I still have it too. (I never throw those things away, Don't know why)

I've got a short week coming up. 2.5 days next week..using up some vacation time.

I have so much and didn't take enough last year, that I'm actually taking off the week of Easter with DS.

Suz got an extra week this year, so now we both have a ton of time. We may do something at the end of summer since DS's camp ends on the 19th of August and he doesn't go back to school until the 26th. If things turn around, maybe we'll sneak away for a WDW trip. Figure they'll have free food about that time (at least they did the last couple of years).

I really only have to work 3 days a week but often work 4. I'm going to try to cut back to 4/3 this year if I can. Of course The Governator has just boosted my taxes to the point of eliminating about two of my raises so I'm not sure how it will work out.

WOW...you must have a very clear screen Heather. I can't even see it. But I'm sure it's our 50 pound camcorder!! Remember how big they used to be?

I am so sorry I missed all the piccie posting last night. I actually know where my senior pics are.

Jeff, Almost cried seeing AFEG and the little guy walking together. I really miss you guys!

Sean had a great bday. Went to the Texas Roadhouse and had dinner. They made Sean sit on the sawhorse saddle while they sang Happy Birthday.

today we are off and running to the store. Remember my great news about my niece having a girl. Well, seems she might be having said baby while living with us. She moved in on Friday. It is the first time I have seen her in 5 years.(very long story)

I feel your pain my CA neighbor.....but hey at least we have jobs right. Our unemployment rate in this county is 15%

OBTY people, I found out that I have a job for the next 2 years at least! YAY, I have to take 11.5 furlough or "budget cut" days as we are calling it at a 5% paycut, but I have a guaranteed job for the next 2 years!!!!

Can you believe it has been only a little over 6 months since we got of that ship from the Repo? Seems longer than that.
