Here off and on - grading the last of late research papers.

I feel your pain my CA neighbor.....but hey at least we have jobs right. Our unemployment rate in this county is 15%

OBTY people, I found out that I have a job for the next 2 years at least! YAY, I have to take 11.5 furlough or "budget cut" days as we are calling it at a 5% paycut, but I have a guaranteed job for the next 2 years!!!!

Suz and I both said we'd take pay cuts to keep our jobs if it came to it. I'd go up to 20%.

Can you believe it has been only a little over 6 months since we got of that ship from the Repo? Seems longer than that.

It's been on an off for years now. When the kids were infants they'd hate the way the mustache/beard felt when I kissed them. (a grimace is not the effect that was intended) so while they were young I shaved. In '07 I grew it back as a goatee but got irritated with it one day in early '08 and shaved. Been off ever since. Although today I cut the H**L out of myself and am thinking that not shaving for a while may be nice!

No, no clean shaven is the way to go!

I have a total of 13% with me going from 12 to 11 months and then the 5% on top of that.

I have so much and didn't take enough last year, that I'm actually taking off the week of Easter with DS.

Suz got an extra week this year, so now we both have a ton of time. We may do something at the end of summer since DS's camp ends on the 19th of August and he doesn't go back to school until the 26th. If things turn around, maybe we'll sneak away for a WDW trip. Figure they'll have free food about that time (at least they did the last couple of years).

My vacation year starts in April and end in March the following year, so have to use it up or loose it.

WOW...you must have a very clear screen Heather. I can't even see it. But I'm sure it's our 50 pound camcorder!! Remember how big they used to be?

I totally agree, don't know if the UK has tenure, but I really hate being stuck with teachers that shouldn't have been tenured in the first place and should have never ever been inthe classroom

Sean had a great bday. Went to the Texas Roadhouse and had dinner. They made Sean sit on the sawhorse saddle while they sang Happy Birthday.

Now that I would've loved to see. Bet he went bright red?

Yep. I've been waiting for that shoe to drop since the election. I'll be running in place for a while. Which is better than some so I do feel blessed but still is fustrating.

My vacation year starts in April and end in March the following year, so have to use it up or loose it.

Suz is the same, but Feb to Jan (that is when retail has their year-end, so it runs with it). We used 2 in last year and 3 in this year for the Mexico trip. The only down side is they don't let her off in Nov or Dec, except Xmas week which is too pricey to go anywhere.

I can carry 2 weeks forward. Use to be 4 weeks. Always liked having the extra days just in case.

Yep. I've been waiting for that shoe to drop since the election. I'll be running in place for a while. Which is better than some so I do feel blessed but still is fustrating.

2011 will becoming soon enough (when that shoe will drop). That's when you'll see it. Hopefully the economy turns by then.
