We headed out the park then, they were just too wet and we'd done everything we wanted to.

I loved this sign - thought it very appropriate.

We saw some super heroes on the way out

This was really funny - the guy put his hands on Ellis' shoulders to start with for the photo, realized he was soaking wet and took them off again:lmao:

Oops! - forgot the hulk photos - no wait for this at all - they were sending it half empty most of the time. We did kiddie swap because Ellis was too small and didnt want to ride anyway!

That evening we went to Bahama Breeze - I love their Jamaican patties! I had a huge Bahama Mama too!

Good morning everyone...

We had the telltale phone call at 6am indicating that there was a 90 minute delay for the kids today. I guess there was some freezing rain over night. I just went out to take the dog out and get the paper, and the ice is melting already so I don't think I have to go and buy some salt right away.

Awesome pics Karen! I have been to Universal twice, Elaine and the kids once. We have never been to Islands of Adventure though. It's ok, but the experience isn't the magical experience that Disney is. We went in 2005 becauses we had free tickets from going to a Westgate Time share presentation. What had happened was we had to fly to FL early due to a nor'easter snowstorm, so we had 2 extra days in Florida that we weren't expecting.

I think I have some pics of our time there but they are 4 years old now! LOL

Hey Dan and Nancy! Hey Kathy! Karen - I am loving the photos. I am going to head into work for a little while so I am very ready for my little darlings tomorrow. See ya later!

Hey Mimi, good morning. I'm surprised you don't go back to school til tomorrow. Our kids went back today. Even though we're retired I still have that mind set of being on vacation when the kids are. Today is time to get back to business, namely eating wisely, housework, and getting reorganized. No subbing jobs lined up til next week so far.

Ok, gang….I need some help thinking through my post-cruise travel plans.

I am debating whether or not to stay overnight after the cruise on the 31st and do MNSSHP. I kind of need to figure it out soon to watch for flights.

The pro’s:

-Obviously, getting to do MNSSHP, riding all the rides, seeing the park all decorated, fireworks, etc.

The con’s:

-Logistics-I am planning to reserve ground transportation to and from port for the whole family (all 10-11 of us) and if they do not want to stay the extra night I need to figure out additional transportation to the “world”.

-If the rest of the family DOES want to stay, I will have to coordinate that part of the trip for everyone also, arrange for tickets, book hotels, and so forth.

-This would be Thomas’s first time seeing the Magic Kingdom – and it would be fairly late in the day. Would it be too overwhelming? I am worried he’d be too tired or overexcited to enjoy it.

Any thoughts?

We are staying at the Hale Koa on Waikiki Beach in September! I can't wait!!! Have you guys ever been there?

Good morning all. We stayed at the Hale Koa in February of 2004. We went on a family trip / honeymoon after we got married in May of 2003. It was a very nice hotel. My uncle retired from the navy so because he was with us, we got to stay there. Otherwise, I do not think I would have been to Hawaii yet.

Hello Everyone -

Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Lisa and my family (all 14 of us) will be sailing with all you Bobers. You guys have already met my cousin Firefighter Chris. My family consists of myself, Lisa (35), my better-half, Quincy (not a poster & don't understand the whole idea??), son, John & step-son, Tyrin (both 14 at time of sailing.) Also joing us are a few new sailors...my grandma (84) and my uncle as well as experienced sailors, my parents, my two brothers, and another uncle....plus Chris and his family.

I do not know how much time I will have to post as I work full-time and go to school part-time. Nights are pretty busy, but I will try my hardest to keep up ;) . I am very excited for this much needed trip!

Lisa

It is about time you come out and play with us. Why dont you also tell everyone that you were also on KK1, but did not talk to anyone from the group. We all know that you are not shy.

Hi Lisa and fellow Wisconsinite  Welcome to the B.O.B. cruise. Tell your cousin we miss him around here. How is his mom??

Sorry all. I thought that I have posted since this, but apparently not. Thank you Nancy for reminding me. Lol. As an update on my mom, she did get out of the hospitol after being in there for about five days. She did not have a stroke. She had a mild heart attack. My mom was was diagnosed with a bad pulmonary heart valve about six years ago, and so they think that might have been part of the problem. However, she is home now, and just has to keep going in for tests. She is currently doing about two to three a week. Thank you to this group for the huge prayer support.

I would say that you should stay. The party gives you a little time to nap before going to MNSSHP if wanted. Plus, I think that everyone would want a little time to relax before going home. I know the logistics. My travel party this year will be twelve people. However, two of them live in Winter Haven, so they get to stay either way.

Ah, the Porch of Indecision! My favorite place in Universal! Just give me a Cheeseburger in Paradise with a Margarita on the Porch of Indecision :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: !
