Elijah says thank you to everyone for his birthday wishes. He had a great day. Kristen, Asiah and I brought him to Incredible Pizza for his birthday dinner. He had a great pizza feast, cookies etc. plus played lots of games for 1 1/2 hours. He won lots of game tickets and he thinks he got a great prize. Asiah did too. They both had a fantastic time. Elijah said he got everything he wanted for his birthday. I gave him a remote controled helicopter and soft air gun and target. He was so excited. His mom gave him a gift card so he can go buy a game for his ps2 or wi and also buy a pair of converse sneakers. He wants a special color and design. Asiah gave him an I-tune card. He loves music and listens to his I-pod all the time in the car. He said this was his best birthday ever. Wait even better. Kristen his mom is having a surprise party for him on Friday. She invited 5 of his friends. He has no idea. He will be so excited. They will play Wi, play station 2, jump on trampoline and eat pizza and all kinds of goodies. Asiah and I will stay at my house that night. It will be only boys and Kristen there. Diane

Her life was hard,..... it really was tragic
For only once in her life had she sailed on the Magic

She'd met a great bunch who she chatted to each day
They talked about everything in a most "Disney" way

In just over a week to Epcot she'd go
For a mini Dis meet and to see the lights all aglow

Then in 10 months she'd fly back for sail number two
Its going to be great fun, because she'll be with all of you

So thats it Dear Bobbers or Bashers or friends....

Decided to take today off, feeling a bit under the weather, need to rest this weary body of mine, it's not getting any younger.......

1 week today we'll be at the airport waiting to board ... I'll be doing my usual "clean the plane" before Ellis gets on, my usual scan of people (or rather what the people are snacking on) and will then panic for 9 hours til we land

In 1 week and 9 hours ....we'll be in Florida

His Mom should be proud, Di! What a thoughtful thing to say! It's so nice to hear a kid who actually appreciates all the wonderful things in his life. And that was a very thoughtful gift from his sister as well - how old is she?

We had 3 inches of snow yesterday now it's 50 degrees the snow is gone and it's raining. It feel like an early spring storm. Well as they say here in Maine if you don't like the weather wait a minute.
Nancy is a busy girl this week she has three days that she is subbing. She worked Monday she is working today and Friday. She left me a list to keep me busy.
Joanne we liked the pictures you posted. Whats with the jeans and sweatshirt. Was it that cold?
Everybody have a great afternoon. Im caught up with my work so im going out with two of my friends and watch horse racing ( Harness) from NJ and NY this afternoon.

yes it was cold for us Florida people. Friday & Saturday were nice but Sunday was windy and chilly. Maybe I can get some pictures posted this week end.

I think I am bailing from H & R block, don'thave time for nine straight days of training.

Just checking in guys! I've been absent for a while now. I got my christmas decor up and running. I'll try to remember to post some pictures when I get home tonight. I need to set aside a night to videotape. Opening night was a blast!

On another note, while wild horses couldn't get me to change my cruise plans (or even free airfare that needed to be used before July) I have finally made the purchase of the non-refundable air tickets so now everything is set in stone. I been pretty shocked by the price that has been offered up until now. On average the cost has been $500pp I really wanted to pay $300 but would settle for $350. Well, I got my price last night. After my AMEX and Visa discounts I ended up paying $1000 total for the tickets. Not too bad. And much better than the $2150 that Disney wanted to charge me.

On a related note: I paid off the WDW vacation that we are taking in Februrary. Laura and I are getting real excited for this one. We still haven't told the kids yet. We'll do that on Christmas. I recently had a break with reality and spent a gob of money on Cirque tickets (spent all the money I had set aside for my spending money in WDW--I'll be bumming Churros from the kids) I hope that it's worth it. I haven't even told Laura about that yet. I'll surprise her on Christmas too.

Yup, I totally lucked out

I'm surprised that Sean hasn't absorbed some of that romance, you would think all that time spent together, osmosis would kick in or something LOL!

As long as he gets it done, last minute isn't too bad
