Don't think so.

Too many people wanted to drink their Diet Pepsi now and have none for the future, but will look for someone to give it to them. Diet Coke people look towards the future and how to supply themsleves with their own Diet Coke.

The more free Diet Pepsi, the harder it will be to get people to buy their own Diet Pepsi.

A can of Diet Pepsi here and there will help quench an immediate thirst but you'll get thirsty again, but a pallet of Diet Coke will allow someone to give cases to others which will change a persons lifestyle.

Face it, the whole mess came from too many people wanting soda they couldn't afford. That is the root of this mess. That goes much further back than 8 years.
Yep, Mr Monica (cigar breath) gave the green light to Fanny Mae to improve the world  :rotfl: :confused3 :lmao: ...

Now, they will be getting free pepsi from us "working" dummies..:scared1:

I am thinking kettle donations will be about what we raised last year as they more of the "spontaneous" and generally small donations. I expect that our mail appeal will take a big hit as that is more of an informed donation, ie writing a check vs. putting a dollar in a red kettle.

We start tomorrow, so it will be interesting to see. Our demand for services is going through the roof. I expect we will do 25 to 50% more familes than last year.

Support your organization 100%..When I was a boy during Hurricane Audrey, they gave "free" necessities to the relief effort. At least my dad told me, he exclaim "the other Organization(RC), was charging for Coffee and water to people who had lost everything"..:confused3

We hear stories like that pretty much everyday. WW2 vets are huge supporters due to the Army giving them free stuff, and the "other organization" wanted to charge them.

Thanks for your support. I understand the Army has huge operations in the various cities in Texas. I know Dallas is huge and the Jones family are major supporters. I was just watching a Jerry Jones interview on the Yankees sports network last night and he made sure he mentioned the Army a few times in the hour sit down chat with Yankee broadcaster Michael Kay.

No coffee or energy drinks for me. I am just a regular Pepsi (preferred) or Coke guy.

They may need an Accountant or workhand, don't know about the "bell ringing" :scared1:

So put me in touch next year, if you have contacts in San Antonio..;)

Next door neighbor works for United Way. In my opinion, the next best organization..:woohoo:

I heard on our local news yesterday that only about 150 stores were closing nationwide, not all of them. :confused3

Our news had that originally it was 150 and now they are saying all of them:confused3 .

I'll take you to Yo-se-mite and Lake Tahoe! Lake Tahoe is pretty, but it is a gambling town as well. I think it has been about 10 years since we have been there. My Aunt and her ex husband were married there by the Rev. Love.:lmao:

OOO good thing you don't live around here, we'd go bankrupt with those two hanging around each other.

Well if I had known that I would have been there with you on the EBPC girlfriend.

We loved Yo-so-mite when we visited there some years back and would love to back. We wouldn't see Sean and Rick if they went electrical store browsing. As for the dance game, I did check out the arcade but it had been removed.

Bought a flat screen 37 in tv for our anniversary last year. Devin(aka Sean's child, because mine wouldn't do this) was playing video games and thought that like a normal tv when he threw the empty water bottle at the tv it would bounce off. Nope, screen splintered.....had it exactly a month.

No way!:scared1:

gotta keep the ladies happy.:worship:

:flower3: :flower3: :flower3:

That's more like it!!!

nah. i'll just put a pancake on my "slightly receeding" hairline and these new chics will melt like butter.:rotfl2: :lmao:

ahhh. if it were only that simple.:worship:

You found us out! Although, I think you might need some syrup too. We'll see what Mimi has to say about this...
